I exclusively buy body butter and deodorant from Hunnybunny, but I have tried many of their products and haven't disliked anything. Everything is personally made in-house (that's sort of a pun--this business is located within a small rowhouse!), and it is all natural and made with love. I have sensitive skin and I have even used their products on my baby boy, without any fear that it would cause a reaction. 2] The family who owns Hunnybunny are so warm, personable, and real. I have enjoyed talking to every one of them in the past few years since I've been a regular customer, including the kids, who own the business. :) 3] My husband's favorite scent in the world is Hunnybunny's cherry almond body butter, which I put on every night before bed. He always says that it makes him want cherry pie. When I run out, he makes an effort to stop by and get me a replacement, just because HE loves the smell so much. We always visit in person but I am happy to know that online ordering is possible as well, just in case we ever move out of DC!

You can get the soap wrapped in flower seed paper that can be planted! This brand is so thoughtful and the care they put into their products is apparent.

There's a Alexandria brand sugar scrub that I always pickup when I'm in DC but I decided to give this brand a try. The scents smelled pretty good -- not like candy, but distinctive and interesting. I also bought some soaps that looked like bite-sized bon-bons. The woman in the store was nice and very helpful. After reading that BrookieGirl is Black-owned, female-owned and started by a mother for her daughter, I want to support it even more. Stop in this sweet and enticing spot to smell good!

I know nothing about clean makeup and skincare, but they were super knowledgeable and provided lots of great advice. They carry brands such as Kosas, Saint, TMF, and more. In all my years working in the cosmetics industry, I'm ashamed to say that I've never paid any attention to clean makeup, and had never heard of these brands. I didn't get to try anything on, but the colors and packaging are beautiful. The staff told me they have events, which is great, because I'll definitely be attending in the future. Instead of getting my fresh juices (that's not pasteurized) full of all the healthy enzymes that optimizes excellent health, I will be a regular customer here. I plan to order them by the gallon. This is way better than what I was doing, because it's $8 for something similar when Whole Foods makes their juices fresh. The brand Suja is about $5. Getting it by the gallon here is way better. Especially getting sea moss juice with pure ingredients. 2. I've seen people on the streets selling fragrant natural oils. However, I feel better buying it from here because the owner has taken it a step further by investing into having a physical brick and mortar business. 3. The wide variety of fragrant oils is really amazing. It can be hard to choose from the options, but that's a good thing. 4. I love the variety of natural products, there's toothpaste, soaps, deodorants, hair pomades, Shea butters, body oils, and more. Neem toothpaste, moringa toothpaste, etc. When you know the benefits of these powerhouse herbs and minerals, it's great to be able to have these available. 5. I was super happy to see that they sell copper jewelry. There's so many health benefits to wearing copper, it's really the only jewelry that I would wear if it wasn't so hard to find. She also can customize the jewelry as well. 6. Every health supplement, cleanse that will help you to have optimal health they have it here. 7. Everyone who worked there was very helpful. I met the owners wife, and she was extremely knowledgeable about so many things! She does health consultations and is a licensed aesthetician. 8. It's great to not have to order online anymore and to be able to support a local business that is dedicated to high quality products and service.
