This Walgreens location offers passport photo service. Due to limited staffing, I had to wait to get my photo taken. However, as I was made aware by an employee about the situation, I did not mind. I got my needs met thanks to the employee who took the time to explain and helped me understand what to expect. read more

I ordered COVID tests online at this location. It wasn't showing up on their system although I had confirmation on my end. No problem. I placed another order under my husband's name. Didn't show up. I was placed on hold by 7 (not even kidding; 7) different employees. One time, I was hung up on. They bounced me back-and-forth from pharmacy, to the front of the store, to a manager to find someone there who knew how to look up online orders. Not a single person could figure out how to do it. After I asked if they could just help me place a new order, I was placed on hold again and sent right back to the first person that told me they did not handle these orders. I just bought the tests from a local CVS instead. I was waiting for about an hour to get absolutely nowhere. This location has horrible customer service and no organization in regards to Covid tests. This is an absolute weakness for the store and they need to make sure their staff is more properly trained. read more

Mid-afternoon a few days ago. I was standing in line for checkout. Staring straight ahead towards the front door. I saw a young man walking in a odd fashion with his arms in back of him. I then noticed that he was cradling a 12pk of Heinken obviously he was stealing. I couldn't believe my eyes! By the time I realized the theft he was out the door. I told the checker what I saw and she responded in a lazy tone "Oh, happens all the time". I said "you're not going to do anything about it or call the police?" She replied "No we been told not to" So I said "So anyone can come in here anytime and steal and nothing happens?" She said the last time an employee tried to stop a theft thy were fired. Who runs this store? That is the stupidest thing I ever heard of! They could at least take a snapshot of video suspect an inform the police. Further they can call the police for loitering bums in front of the store. Chino Police officers make 97k a year. I pay plenty on property taxes and local stores inflation prices because of theft. I would give the pharmacy zero stars if I could. The pharmacists are so mean and they give you mean looks. I came to ask if COVID test kits were covered by insurance and the first person said oh... I'm not sure. I don't think so. Then I waited for someone else to ask because she said she didn't know and it is indeed covered by private insurance. This other person took the information of who I needed the test for and said she'll text me back when she has everything ready. So I left the pharmacy and ran errands. After 30 mins, I came back to ask a follow up question if those not under my insurance I would have to pay out of pocket for but there's this other person that didn't even let me finish the question and said "she's preparing the kits". The other girl who was preparing them heard and said to me very rudely "I'm labeling them right now!" I had to tell her that's not what I came for, I came to ask a question if they'd let me finish. Pharmacy review: I've tried using this pharmacy two times now and each time has been without any urgency for their patients. This most recent time there was an issue with my medication since I am breastfeeding. It took them over 48 hours to call me to get it situated. She has a medical condition and said they physically saw her stuff her shirt. Then switched up the story and said it looked like she had something In her shirt! So upset with Walgreens! I have been a customer of this Walgreens since 2003. I never had any issues until today. I registered to get my Covid booster and they turned me away. According to them I was not eligible. So it all started hen I first walked up to the window, the gray haired pharmacy tech seemed to be in a bad mood. She asked if I had registered and I replied yes. She asked the time of my appointment to which I informed her of the appt time. I showed her the text I had received from Walgreens and then I showed her the confirmation. While she is looking for my information on the computer, she seems upset and has a stink face. The tech then asked for my card. I asked if she needed my insurance card. She didn't reply. So I gave her my insurance card and vaccination card. She took my card and then walked over to the pharmacist. I could see her asking if I was eligible for the vaccine. She and the pharmacist walked over to me and asked if I was immonucompromised. I replied in the affirmative. He then asked me what condition I had. Keep in mind, I am protected by HIPPA and they are asking personal medical information in a public setting. Additionally I had already submitted my health information when I registered and made my appointment. Let's not forget I get my prescription medications from this same pharmacy. Once the pharmacist informed me I wasn't eligible I thanked them for wasting my time. I then requested to speak to the manager. He then came back and told me the pharmacist said I wasn't eligible. The manager had a piece of paper in his hand but one, he never let me read the paper nor he told me the reason I was not eligible for the vaccine. I came home and immediately called the CDC hotline. The rep confirmed I was indeed eligible for the booster. She also took down the store info because she was going to report it to the CDC So I'm here at CVS getting my booster thank goodness. For 10 years I've been putting up with extremely slow service and rude people that can't seem to ever find your prescription. Last month I had to come in 3 different days to pick up 3 medications that were submitted on the same day on the same prescription. Each time I came in it seems to take them forever to navigate through the computer. Today I was told all my meds would be ready by 7:30p. I've been filling my prescriptions here for years and there's always problems but this one takes the cake: I have been trying to refill a medication for weeks. I wanted it before going on vacation, but of course, insurance problems. I wasn't back in time from vacation to pick it up so they put it back. I requested it to be filled again today as I am now home from vacation, and my account said I needed to speak with a pharmacist. I go in, and they said now they can't refill it because there's an interaction with another one of my medications and they need to contact my doctor first. I explained that they had previously filled it before and I was not informed there was an interaction then. They told me someone must not have documented that they got approval from my doctor. I explained that it was on the shelf yesterday so this is technically the third time they'd be filling it and certainly there must be documentation. That, or they aren't checking for interactions. Ultimately, they refused and told me to go to urgent care. What a careless bunch. I'll be transferring to CVS. read more

I forgot the Assistant mangers first name but his last name is Rodriguez. He told me my daughters medicine would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I came back in 20 minutes and he told me my medicine was ready. Well after waiting another lady told me my medicine wasn't ready and it would be another 15 minutes. Well after questioning why the lying assistant manager admitted he lied and that my daughters medicine would not be ready until the next day after 2 pm. Untrustworthy! They were piles of dust behind the registers in the photo department. There were crumbs behind the monitor. The men's room looked like it had not been cleaned in a whole year. Ive been going here for years but recently it's been so slow getting prescriptions. Went there yesterday and they were out of one of my prescriptions had to wait a half hour for the other two. Went back today had to wait another half hour to get my prescription both times people getting the prescriptions didn't know what they were doing had to ask questions with every person from others in the back. Went to Walgreens at 9:30 this morning. Waited 20 minutes in line, my turn! They told me there was no authorization for my pills, called the Doctor, she said she has documentation that they faxed the RX refill. I then called Walgreens where I was holding for 16 minutes and then just disconnected, I drove back and again they said they had nothing. I called the Dr from the counter, they "found" the authorization, and filled half of it. I did not take it, called the doctor back, they said they would call the pharmacy, still waiting. An hour and a half process, still waiting! After 20 more minutes they finally call my name with the correct prescription and the correct amount of pills I asked the pharmacy tech to ask the pharmacist to count them out in front of me sure enough, there were 58 pills not 60 pills. Came here again thinking it would be different. I waited about 30 minutes just to drop off a prescription. CAme back 2-3 hours later to pick it up n there were 2 people ahead of me with one customer that kept the pharmacy tech busy with stupid questions and concerns about refills for her father. Asking if it was cheaper here or rite aid. I waited in line for another 30 minutes. The service is slow and they are understaffed. I dropped of my prescription today at the drive thru n didn't wait. My husband went to go pick it up 2 hours later and waited 45 minutes because a lady was arguing with the pharm tech and pharmacist. Walgreens is the easiest place to have my pictures developed. First, they take all your pictures online. Second, they give you a few choices for times to pick them up. Third, they routinely email me coupons for discounts on future pictures. I have been immunized a few times at this location. Professional application of the shots and fair prices.
