Yikes, the reviews are abysmal. Suffice to say, we didn't get that same poor experience as some of these other reviews. My boyfriend and I came here before meeting up with our friends to get Big Way Hot Pot in the same plaza. I always have to reiterate this every time I review any business in this plaza, but it's one of the top worst plazas to find parking in Rowland Heights. Due to all the restaurants and businesses, it can become a PvP zone to fight each other for parking. So either come at an off time, or if there's no valuables in your beat up car, you can park across the street at 99 Ranch and walk over. This shop is SUPER cluttered, meaning there's lots to look at and shop for. Not only do they have beauty goods like make up and skin care, as well as the tools used for that but they have imported snacks from Asia (mostly China, but I think some from Japan), like chips and candy and such. There's also some cute accessories and also some anime figures and other goods. Was so random to see a Pop Up Parade figure of Nero from the Fate series. Neat! Horrible customer service. I was recommended a cleansing shampoo by a male staff with long hair. It's called Off & Relax gray and blue bottle, around $27. I used it for a week and see severe breakage, I went and asked to return or exchange, the owner said they don't take return of anything used but I can ask the person who sold it to me to buy it! This place sucks. I am literally an Asian person and felt completely discriminated against just because I spoke English, I can't imagine what they would say if you weren't Asian. They didn't even let me in--this happened on *two separate occasions*. They claimed it was appointment-only, but when I asked how to make one, the woman rolled her eyes at me and just pulled up a WhatsApp QR code. The link didn't even help--it just directed me to download the app, not to actually schedule anything. The store itself doesn't look anything like the photos online. It was cramped, messy, and they had their gates halfway up like they didn't actually want customers. I don't understand why the makeup is so exclusive or how they even make money when they won't let most people in. Everything is good price. but the staff lady answer our question without knowledge. I asked her how much is that, she said it is around $10, I was like how can this brand cheap that much.... then I paid $21 for that (more expensive than amazon). I'm Hispanic, nothing discriminatory here. They let us in instantly and didn't follow us around, worker helped translate items for us. They had some amazing foreign chips and my girl got some Korean skincare stuff. Then again we don't dress like hood rats so that might make a difference. read more

The owner has replied to my review and I have some further concerns about how this business is being operated. I noticed the day that I had come here to shop, I noticed that the front door was locked from the inside. I find that peculiar and unsafe if someone needed to exit the building... the owner also stated that she has an issue how public safety is ran. Well, that's the risk you run when you have a business. If that is something you have an issue with ... well, you might want to start selling your product online. The reviews don't lie. I understand why this place has low star ratings. I'm so disappointed in the actions of the owners. This was my first and last time shopping here. I purchased 2 chapsticks priced at 5$ each but when we went to the register, my total was 30$ they changed the prices to take advantage of me. I was with my friend as well and she bought some makeup products and when it came to pay, they changed the prices on her too. I figured because it looked like a family business they need the money. We have been waiting outside the Beauty corner, waiting for my table at boiling crab, and observed the employees keep the gate closed and only allow Asian people inside. My daughter and I tried to go inside and they told us that we need an appointment. We aren't Asian. We stood outside, while an Asian women went up to the gate and the employee did not ask her for an appointment, this happened two more times. So far we've been out here for an hour, and only Asian people have gone inside the store. The store is extremely racist and it's obvious they have an Asian only policy. read more

If I could give it a zero I would. Discriminatory towards non-Asians. They have the door open but with the black security gate going across the door. No one was in the store except the employees. My friend and I asked if they were open and we were ignored. We asked again louder and a male said something to a female employee behind the counter. She then walked towards us with an unfriendly face and asked what we wanted. We asked if they were open and she said yes but by appointment only and walked away.
