Visiting Charlevoix and a local recommended fried chicken at this E-Z Mart. I told her I'm not…read moregetting fried chicken from a gas station. She insisted. So off we go and the first thing I notice is this place has a fair number of gas pumps. Clearly, there was no turning away from the fact that this is going to be fried chicken from a gas station. We walk in and it's a typical mini mart. Candy, soft drinks, beer, chips, you know the classics. But then I looked to my left. Tucked away in the far reaches of this place , far away from the Dorritos, was a warm spirit of a woman standing behind a hot area of golden fried chicken. Was I dreaming? A muliple line gas station housing the sweet smell of fried wonderfulness? I was expecting us to go up to her and order so much chicken that she surely would not be able to handle. People don't walk in here and buy chicken for six. People are coming here and buying chicken for one to eat in their car on the side of the road. But to my amazement, my friend had ordered ahead of time and this warm angel picked up a large to-go bag with multitudes of drums and breasts, fried up in some secret gas station chicken recipe, and handed it to us. Was this actually happening? At home at dinner I was expecting to eat a small drum and thigh. I put extra apple sauce on the side for security. And then I tasted this gas station chicken. It was crispy and seasoned just right. I went back for more. Everyone did.

Sometime about last Wednesday, my wife's iPhone 13 suddenly stopped showing any e-mails or allowing her to access them. She tried finding help online with AT@T and by phone with absolutely no help. Desperate, we drove into the AT&T location on the north side of Petoskey from up by Cross Village. Carole met my wife, introduced herself, asked questions about the difficulties she was having, and, within 15 minutes had identified the problem, found the missing e-mails, and totally resolved the issue. i want to give Carole a really big Thumbs-Up.
