Everything. That's why. Each time I have called around to check prices on prescriptions, Modern's are the lowest. They also have excellent prices on well-chosen supplements and vitamins. They provide the option of good-quality generic brand cold/flu/allergy medicines at very reasonable prices. Wait a minute- I thought low prices were the draw of the big box stores! The shelves don't *look* as full as the bigger chain pharmacies, but, sure enough, I have never gone in looking for something and NOT found what I need. Their customer service is in a different league altogether and for that they deserve more than just a five star rating here on Yelp. They do compounding. They will special order if possible. Today, he asked me if I would like to transfer my business to another pharmacy because once again they failed to have my inventory in stock after a week's notice, per their request. After reassuring me that my partial refill was ready to go, I sent someone on a twenty-minute round-trip ferry and thirty-minute round-trip car ride to pick up a prescription only to find out that he voided my husband's life-saving medication because he didn't care for my attitude. That was after trying to bill the insurance that has been cancelled for months, even though my new insurance has been on file ever since. Very poor customer service and standard of care at this particular Walmart pharmacy. After years of loyalty, I won't be returning. I will go across the street to Walgreens from now on, where they will always have my prescriptions in inventory on time. Since nobody seems to enjoy their jobs here, they should just terminate everyone and employ all new fresh faces!

They were very helpful, even phoning me to advise availability. Friendly pharmacist and staff at this store. They will go overboard to assist. I live on Drummond Island MI about 23 miles away. On 5/25/2019 just before my daughter's graduation. We stopped in there--the store located in…read moreCedarville, MI--because my father's hearing aid batteries were dead, and he forgot to bring new ones (as they are from out of town). We swung in there to pick some up. He went over to where the hearing aids are kept and grabbed two packages that he believed to be the right size and then gave those, and his battery from his hearing aid to this person behind the counter. She informed him that they cannot determine the size just by looking at them and refused to help him any further. My father, being who he is, opened the one he thought to be correct size to make sure before he spent money on them (as they are expensive there compared to anywhere else). It, unfortunately, was the wrong size. The other package ended up being correct; and, when he went to pay for those, the clerks working there (man and woman) told him that he had to pay for BOTH packages and refused to let him just purchase the ones he needed. They continued to be snarky and rude until I agreed to pay for both just so we could get out of there and get to my daughter's graduation, as we did not want to arrive late due to the rudeness of the store workers. It really made him mad and really upset me. My father is a almost 90-year old 100% disabled veteran, and I expected better treatment, help, and understanding from a store that I KNOW deals with the elderly quite often. Especially on Memorial weekend!!!! This was the WORST customer service I have ever witnessed, myself, towards him or anybody for that matter. I do not typically use this store, but I NEVER will again now. Just total disrespect and rudeness.
