They also can't handle being called out for this practice because they know it is reprehensible. All of this is avoidable. I made an appointment for my elderly mother who was in need of dental care. She could not get into local providers so we made an appointment with Dr. Forsmark's office which is quite a distance from her home. I offered to provide the insurance information through UPHP and Delta but the office said they did not need it now. Mom shows up to the appointment and finds out she is not covered at Dr. Forsmark's office and they never tried to run coverage prior to her showing up. I am sure at this point you can understand the frustration. Dr. Forsmark's office was not sympathetic in any way and were in shock that I would call them out for the practice.
