The store is overpriced for the convenience of not having to go to Acme or Traverse City but they don't care about the local population. It is evident by the disgusting cleanliness of the bathrooms and presumably their store rooms. It doesn't require much extra time to clean a restroom. Maybe there will not be German cockroaches on the floor if you actually cleaned.

For the store: I was impressed with their produce selection and that it is all organic. That is something I value in my everyday grocery shopping so it was a pleasant surprise. I also loved the other items they sold such as the cinnamon graham crackers from the sourdough project, sauerkraut, different cheeses, MASA chips, pickles, body balms, chips, and more. The restroom was also very clean. For the cafe: We went for breakfast two times and everything we ordered was very good and seemed liked they used fresh and good quality ingredients. My kids devoured the yogurt bowls. My only criticism would be that they only had two egg options and both were frittatas. It would have been nice to have another egg option that's not a frittata, even if it's just scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage. I don't know how often they change their menu, so maybe they have more variety. Between all my visits there, I ordered 3 different coffee drinks and they were very good. I would stop in there just for coffee. The smoothies also looked really good. We snagged one of the chocolate chip cookies and it was seriously one of the best cookies I have had. It was baked perfectly and had the right amount of chocolate chips. All of the staff we interacted with were very nice and patient. They had a nice outside area with a flower garden you can walk through and toy tractors for the kids to play with. This is a gem and I'm going to be so sad when we leave!

I went into the store to get ice and water for a 1/2 Gallon Water Jug. This really rude Jerk yelled at me "Don't even think of filling that Jug with Soda Pop" I don't drink Pop. I just drink water. I was trying to put ice in my Jug. I could here one solid junk of ice in the machine. I only got a few shavings in my jug. The person that I believed to be the owner of the store told me that I would have to pay for a bag of ice if I put ice in my 1/2 gallon Jug. I thought I saw the person that I perceived to be an owner go out a side door. I headed out the side door to show him that I only got a few shavings of ice and thus I would not be paying for a bag of ice. He yelled at me from within the store. He thought I was leaving and stealing a jug full of ice. The Jerk banned me from the Store and told me to never return. It would have cost me over $100.00 to fill my Fuel Tank. I left with 1/8 tank of fuel and made it to Mancelona. I had a wonderful meal at Mancelona BP and filled my Fuel Tank. I find Irony for being banned from a Store that I live 150 miles away from.

I buy the canine product to help with my dog's arthritis symptoms and her canine cognitive dysfunction, because the anthocyanins in the product are known to penetrate the brain/blood barrier and can reduce inflammation. Since drinking the tart cherry extract myself, I have found some sleep improvement (it also has high levels of melatonin) and my arthritis symptoms have improved. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and they ship product quickly. Couldn't be happier with a business.
