I just want to sit in the middle and do yoga, but I won't. Sales people are uber nice and you could literally walk around in that store for hours. Just a great little store! We spoke with another couple who bought stuff and didn't have such good luck. We did end-up buying seasonal furniture on Restoration Hardware - a great value for the price - and that worked super well for us. We even had returns and it was simple and no stress. Now I know the card is good because there is over $2000 in that account and the card works every where else I use it, so I go inside and tell the clerk and she comes outside, walks to the pump and then begins to insult me with some garbage about how I'm doing it wrong or some similar crap. Extremely insulting manner. She starts in on me..... So now a shouting match ensues, I leave and go down the street to Louie's Market and use the exact same card, swipe it once and fill up my truck. I have lived outside Boyne City for 10 years now and I have always gone there for gas, diesel, propane exchanges, lotto tickets and liquid refreshments....no more. I just called Marathon Headquarters in Findlay, Ohio and told them to clean up that operation and until they do I am now Louie's new customer. I feel no need to be insulted as a customer. They have lost me and I hope you will also consider if you want to deal with insulting people that yell at you when their card reader at the pump doesn't work and you ask them for help.

The toilets, walls, doors, and sink area are ALWAYS FILTHY! The automatic flushers haven't worked in years (so I push the button with my foot). Will someone PLEASE make these bathrooms a priority? No issues with the rest of the store...but customers deserve a safe & clean powder room when needed.

The store is full of a variety of items. Many brands are not a household name. You'd be surprised how many are. There's plenty of parking and it's easy to find. Across from the fire department. They have long hours and a convenient location for us. PRO TIP: Usually, the higher prices are on the popular brands; the best values are the ones you've never heard of.
