Stopped here for water because I was too lazy to go to the grocery store and didn't have a big enough order to order delivery with my usual grocery drop-off. It's ok but, I do not like the new stores design.. it's hideous to be honest and makes them feel more claustrophobic. They appear much smaller which makes it irritating to walk down the isles as they are very tight. Honestly I stay away from Walgreens now due to the new designed stores. I used to enjoy going to Walgreens reading the cards, looking at the clearance items and reading the magazines. Js ‍ Although, the cashier was nice she didn't offer for me to use my points and she wasn't considerate to others. I was given a cpn to use by the customer ahead of me but I didn't need it so I paid it forward to the customer behind me and the cashier didn't want to allow the customer behind me to use it stating that she'd get her own cpn to use on her next next visit. I found this to be rude and inconsiderate! These days done humans are on budgets and anything helps. The cashier refused to pass on the cpn. Wth In any case, I'd only return if I were lazy again. My wife stopped at Walgreens to pick up a prescription. She picked up some othert items and went to pay at the store register. When checking out, she plugged in her credit card to pay for the purchase. The clerk told her that she had won a $50 promotion and had her go through with information to receive the $50. When she got home she disccovered that she had signed up to receive a Synchrony Walgreens Master card. She/I do not want a Walgreens/Synchrony Master card. I have a Synchroy Mastercard and do not want/need another. This is a VERY poor practice on the part of Walgreens. After over 50 years being Walgreens customers, I'm done. There is a CVS 1 block from my house. I realize that the pharmacy and store are different operations, but you share the name. Christmas has come and gone and it's now time to use up the gift cards! I was given a Best Buy gift card that was purchased and loaded up at this location and was I excited to use it! I go to Best Buy and wander around and get what I'm going to purchase with my shiny blue card. I go to pay with my gift card and the cashier says to me that there are no funds. I'm confused. He then sends me to customer service for further help and this is where I receive the shocking news... THE WALGREENS CASHIER TOOK THE MONEY AND DID NOT LOAD AND ACTIVATE MY CARD!!!! I was shocked yes. And annoyed. I contacted Walgreens customer service as soon as I could and I am now having to send pictures of everything, no biggie. What was once an exciting trip to Best Buy has now turned into a hotmess. I just want my gift card to work. So beware when buying gift cards here!! Gotta read the small print. They CLOSE FOR LUNCH? Pharmacy. Opens again at 2pm. I've never heard of a business that advertises itself AS A PHARMACY closes in the middle of the day? They can't have 1 employee take that half hour lunch earlier? This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. EVER!!!!!!! Have one employee to let CUSTOMERS get their prescription? They're sick. Doctors having lunch. Too bad. 23 minutes I'm waiting. Ran into the manager and a tech. Too F bad. It's like a waiter in a restaurant taking his lunch at noon. This branches hours make you less important than them. I am cancelling my auto renew. Going to Walmart. I think they've figured out how to stay in business. I mean BUSINESS HOURS. So while I'm still hopping mad. Spoke with the manager. Corporate says it's this way. THIS WAY means the pharmacist works a 12 hour shift SO CORPORATE can off 3 - 12 hour shifts instead of 4 nines.... which would allow CORPORATE to have an overlap of pharmacist during that LUNCH HOUR so they can stay open as a PHARMACY. YOU SEE IT IS ABOUT THEM. NOT THE CUSTOMER. An elderly person getting upset over a trip to the pharmacy. Thank you Walgreens. I deserve better. read more

I went in today to get a photo printed off last minute for Christmas for my husband. I was thinking it's not going to be spectacular. Well, Dan was off the clock and picking up a gift for his daughter. He saw me struggling with at the photo center and stopped to help me. He then showed the picture he got printed for his daughter. Coincidentally enough, his photo was from Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding, as was mine. My husband and I met Rob and Sheri Zombie and I wanted that printed. He showed me the metal photo collage he made and that sparked an idea. He totally helped me and I am super excited to give this to my husband! Thanks Dan! You are amazing. This was my pharmacy for years. For over five years anytime I needed a prescription I was coming here. I never had a problem once. The strangest thing happened tonight, though. I had called to transfer a prescription. I was going to try a different pharmacy but changed my mind. I was told it would be ready tonight. I arrived and one of my prescriptions is not carried here at all. It would be tomorrow, at minimum, until they had it. They asked me to verify my address for the other prescription and the address they had on file was from the year 2000, for real. The phone number they had for me was from 2002. I have gotten prescriptions from Walgreens in 4 different states since I lived at that address. There was definitely something wrong here. I will be using CVS mail order from now on. read more

I went to the urgent care earlier today and was given two prescriptions. One needed to be picked up relatively quickly to stop both my eardrums from rupturing. So I called down right away. The automated system might have been designed by 9 year olds with special needs so I tried to talk with someone in the pharmacy. When I selected that option it just rang and rang with no one ever answering being a Sunday the pharmacy closes early and I was not able to get any information or help before they closed. The automated system tells you they're processing the order but gives you no time for pickup. They should have at least let me know that it won't be ready today. Because of this I will never shop at a Walgreens for the rest of my life. I've been a loyal customer for 35 years but will never return to a Walgreens anywhere. read more

Went to their pharmacy and sat there forever after they asked me to come inside from the drive thru. Finally, they told me i have to go somewhere else or call and cancel my prescription. They told me it'd be $80 if I couldn't figure it out. After being in pain and agony for so long waiting for my meds, i just went somewhere else and they fulfilled my order for $4. The worst service I have ever had! They don't even have the time to acknowledge you when you are waiting by the counter for several minutes. With a company as big as they are, you would think that they could help patients get their prescriptions when needed. Being diagnosed with covid, the whole family has covid, and a pregnant family member with Covid, this has been very stressful and not only did we receive no help from them, but they were extremely rude. The doctor called the medications in twice which they stated that they did not receive. Tried calling the pharmacy and they put me on hold for 30 minutes then hung up on me. I called back and they hung up on me again. Sent a family member in to try to get the medication and they were rude to her. Finally, I went to another pharmacy and ran into three other people who said they were having the same problem. If they are overwhelmed and short staffed, they won't need to worry much longer. They are losing customers to nearby pharmacies who treat the customer with respect and attempt to help the customer. By the way... Walmart across the street is over the top #1. I've had problems with Walgreens in the past, but this was an all-time low. Working in the medical field myself, I will make sure that I spread the word. No one deserves to be treated the way they treat people. read more

I see why their reviews put them at 2.5 stars! Extremely poor customer service. I stopped in to get change and when I asked for change on a $20. The clerk told me I have to buy something they can't just give out change. Now this might be a company policy and I certainly wouldn't want her to break policy, but what I heard as I was walking back to get something was ridiculous. "If, we gave change to everyone just stopping in for change we'd have people coming in here all the time for change" hmm, well at least you would have people coming into the store! Maybe even buy something. Which I did because I really needed the change, but not again. I'll go to the Walmart across the street to buy anything you might have in your stores. read more

TO EMPLOYEE DAN- I was having a rough start to my day, i had trouble with a very important photo being shipped to a store no longer in business which resulted in my photo being sent back to the sender after waiting almost a month for it and paying more than 70 dollars. I stoped at this store seeking help to get my photo sent back. A very nice lady (sadly didn't catch her name) appointed Dan to assist me. No complaints, no rush. His number one priority immediately was to help me leave that store completely satisfied, even before he had clocked in. Not only was his customer service absolutely exceptional, he made sure i felt welcomed, and that across the board my incident matters to him and his goal was to make sure i left happy, with what i needed. Ive never left a review but I absolutely had to after receiving the customer service provided by Dan. Keep doing what you do Dan! No one does it better. You and your service, i will always remember! Definitely show some love to Dan and his co-workers when you stop at this store! read more

Went into this location to purchase something on sale the ad had no limitations on it and I've been in before to buy by the case. The cashier was okay with it and asked for an associate to help but they refused to sell me more than 6 then when it was suggested we would take 12 of them 6 for me and 6 for my wife they said no that's not how it works. Asked for a manager and got some cocky rude guy who was an assistant manager but refused to give his name or any information. Refused to provided where the limit was post in the print ad and refused to give any information for the store manager or the district manager. We will take our business else where from now on which is super disappointing with how close to our house they are. read more

Poor customer service in pharmacy area, lack of product knowledge. Sent my husband in for help to buy medicine, the person he asked said they did not have what he was looking for. Instead offered her personal advice to pin him down (my grandson)and squirt in mouth. Not helpful at all. I got on their website and found what I needed and ordered it. Paid for delivery, at my door in 30 minutes. Oh! It came from the store that said they didn't have it. I know it's crazy times, but every customer is important, no matter what situation. DO NOT COME HERE TO FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS!!! In the last 12 months I've had at least 5 prescriptions that were late to fill, this latest one I dropped off Friday MORNING, had the pharmacist check to see if it was in stock which it was, got a phone call at exactly 12:11PM confirming it was ready. My family went out of town so we planned to pick it up today, TUESDAY and guess what? Its not ready, because they don't have it in stock and they haven't even ordered it. This is not the first time this has happened and the fact that pharmacy techs try to blame it on me and the doctor ("oh, the doctor switched him from tablets to capsules", really? because he's been on capsules and tablets for over a year not to mention your pharmacist checked!) The pharmacy at this location is atrocious! DO NOT fill your prescriptions here. They will out and out lie to cover their tracks when they don't do their job as promised. I finally resorted to calling the corporate customer service line and they actually confirmed that I was right, but they couldn't do any more than contact the local management who only continued to lie to back up their store staff. This review is strictly for the employee working the Saturday evening I stopped by the store. I wasn't feeling well and went to pick up medicine. I was able to quickly find the item and went to check out. The gentleman was very friendly and tried starting a conversation regarding my shirt. As I was leaving he said "i hope you feel better."
