I've had an extremely frustrating experience trying to get my prescription filled at this location. For an entire week, I've been going back and forth--four separate visits--only to be told each time that my prescription would be ready "within the hour." I'd return the next day, and it still wouldn't be ready. On one visit, I waited at the window for 25 minutes because that's what I was told it would take. The entire time, the customer service was poor. What shocked me most was being yelled at by the pharmacist, and then having the supervisor come over and raise their voice at me too. I've never been treated like that before. To make matters worse, I was threatened for "holding up the line," when in reality, I was only there because they hadn't done their job the first three times. If they had filled the prescription when they said they would, there wouldn't have been a line to hold up. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope they take steps to improve how they treat customers and manage prescriptions. read more

Yesterday, for the umteenth time, we received a call that a prescription was ready for pickup; another call today. Arriving, I was told that the prescription could not be filled until next week due to the insurance interval. So, why call and say it is ready???? For a year or more, when picking up the prescription, they don't have the full amount; it sometimes takes several trips to get the entire 90 day amount. On 2 occasions, it took 4 trips, including the false alarms saying it was ready for pickup, but the pills had not been delivered to the store. The excuse is that this is brand specific and they don't keep a full 90 day supply !! I checked at Publix and the pharmacist showed me 6 bottles of 90 on the shelf. Done with Wallgreens read more

Was on hold for 3 hours and they wouldn't answer the phone. I had to drive an hour to physically go there to request two refills for my medically fragile grandson. When I asked why they didn't answer the phone they said they were too busy. Terrible customer service. read more

The pharmacy here is terrible. Don't try to get a call through to them they turn the phones off and put you on an everlasting hold. I just waited 47 minutes and I remained third caller in line the whole time. We turned in a refill request three days ago. We have gotten no word from the pharmacy whether the prescription is ready or not filled for some reason. The staff here does not care about its customers. read more

Bad place to have prescriptions filled. I have had the same problem multiple times here. They do not reach out consistently when they should to tell you you have a prescription ready for pick up so you have to call in. The automated system has never been able to help me find whether it is ready or not. It asks to look it up by prescription number or phone number and neither works. So you are forced to ask for assistance from a real person where they leave you on hold for 30 minutes and the same guy always answers the phone with a nasty attitude like he is angry you didn't just give up and hang up. It has happened many times and is consistent. I am sure this Walgreens is not inundated with so many calls that there should be a 30 minute wait to talk to someone but that is at least forgivable if after you have been waiting that ridiculous amount of time, the person who answers doesn't treat you like you are the one who is the jerk for needing to know if the medication you need is there or not. Ive been filling my prescriptions with this particular outlet for over 8 years and never had an issue. All of the staff have always been very helpful, even helping by filling my prescriptions ahead of other call ins because they know I drive a long way and I was there. you know the way it kinda should be and used to be. read more

Pharmacists here recommended a holistic creme for my dad's shingles pain. This creme caused an infection which put him in the hospital! Do not use these people!! The creme was Emuaid. read more

My wife tested positive for Covid this morning and this Walgreens was the only pharmacy in the area that has/had one of the medications she needed. At approximately 1:25 p.m went to the counter under the Pharmacy sign that said Pick up. It took a minute to get served and it was obvious that the Pharmacy Tech with an attitude was having an issue with something (the clue was that she tried to ring me up on three different computers)! Eventually she consulted the Pharmacist who came over and wanted to know what medications my wife was on. I told her I wasn't she. The Pharmacist then explained that this particular drug was known for bad interactions with other medications and that it was very important to know my wife's other medications. I said Ok and that I would get them. The Pharmacist started over with her spiel about the drug interactions. In an effort to show some grace to the Pharmacist (I got it the first time) I put my hand up in a Stop Signal so that the Pharmacist would stop speaking and told her that she was way to stressed over something very simple and that I would get the requested information. She thanked me for being understanding. There was a known customer (several of the 7 staffers behind the pharmacy counter acknowledged her) in line behind me, so I stepped to the side to get the requested medication information. My wife texted me the information at 1:30, so I stepped back into line. When the Tech finished with the known customer, I stepped up to the counter and was given a really strange look by the tech. I showed her my phone with the list of medications that my wife had sent and stated that I had the requested information. She was obviously very annoyed that I had returned and told the Pharmacist that I was back with the information that she had requested. The tech returned and stated that the Pharmacy was closed for lunch and that I would have to return afterwards! I looked for the Pharmacist and all I saw was her back running away! If you are looking for a Pharmacy that has any basic concept of customer service or returning the grace that was given them; I strongly encourage you to read the other reviews of this location and then RUN to a different Pharmacy! read more

Typical Walgreens. Nothing special here. If you need to pick up something quick it works however the employees here do not .... Don't expect anyone to go out of their way to help you with anything even when you ask. read more

The pharmacy drive thru is painfully tedious and slow. The pharmacy is often times under staffed.

I have a script that they now are refusing to fill due to my doctor being in my hometown. They want a local doctor even though I have a doctor/patient relationship that was built over years of trust. The pharmacist here has no regard for patients and their attitudes are always harsh. I will pay the extra money to go elsewhere than to deal with the terrible staff of this pharmacy. read more

Walgreens: At the corner of grumpy and confusion; why did it take the pharmacy three days to fill a prescription and then, when I called back to see if it was ready, it wasn't. Then the lady in pharmacy answered with a tone but begrudgingly fixed the issue. Of course they never give their name because they don't like their job. This isn't rocket science; you call a refill in and I drive through. That simple. But not here. I better take my business elsewhere because apparently they appear overwhelmed. When I picked up the Rx., the cute pharmacist confused me more because apparently the Piedmont doctor's office prescribed it incorrectly. It was all a blur from there. Ugh. Now they want me to fix it somehow when I don't understand the hold up. I'm just a regular person despite my degrees. I digress. This is based on the pharmacy though. They rest of the store clerks are fine and I happen to like the nice cashier who greets me when I walk in. read more

I like this drugstore! They have do have a redbox outside 2 actually. They have great sales inside. It's on the right side of the road for me so that keeps me from going to CVS the staff is friendly enough and there is ample parking. I'll frequent this location as my drugstore for as long as I live in Canton. read more

Great staff but there's one woman who works here who should not be at the register. She seems to have no regard for volume control with her own voice. I do not understand what manager would think it's a good idea to hire an employee who basically yells at every customer that walks through the door. When you go to a pharmacy, chances are you're not feeling well and being shrieked at upon entry is maddening. read more

The pharmacist I encountered told me that he was too busy for my questions about my daughters prescription and told me I needed to move along. Needless to say, this one encounter has ended my relationship with Walgreens. I now go to an independent pharmacy much farther from me because of the better customer service. read more

The female pharmacist all but called me a "druggie"!! I have been getting my Rx filled at the CVS across the street, but I have a "controlled" Rx that I have to physically bring in every 30 days, and CVS changed the brand they have been using. I found out that this Walgreen's has the former and more preferable brand, that I prefer, so when the APPROPRIATE date came up for refill, I came to Walgreens. This pharmacist, in front of OTHER customers, gave me quite the verbal scolding about how I must come ONLY to Walgreens for this Rx and I should have all my prescriptions filled there, basically insinuating I frequent various pharmacies. I do NOT abuse my medication, I use only as prescribed, and I told her I did not appreciate being treated this way!! I was almost in tears. The ONLY reason I changed to Walgreens was because of the brand, and I was rewarded with public humiliation. I'm sure all the customers behind me must have thought I was an abuser! VERY RUDE VERY RUDE!! Also - truly - a violation of my HIPAA rights, since pretty much everyone knew my business!! Once I find another pharmacy that carries the brand of rx I prefer, I will NEVER step foot in here again. Horrid. read more
