I would like to preface this review by saying all employees were polite and professional. I was the…read moreimpolite one by using the word "a--", as in "I'm not trying to be an a--", which I apologized for as soon as it came out of my mouth. Now on to why I'm here: I'd bought two skin care products a little over a month ago when they cost a third on sale; this was at a different store. They didn't have the specific item, but I bought something else to exchange when they came back in stock (a hack that a BBW employee told me I could do, and I've been doing it for years). The only two stores that had it were in Canton and Woodstock. I drove ONE HOUR to make that exchange. I get to the counter and tell Kara that I wanted to exchange these items. She proceeds to RETURN my items, then wants to charge me THREE times for the wanted items. Jordan (I believe that's her name) came over to explain that there wasn't anything they could do because it had already been refunded to my card. When I asked her if she nonsensically wanted me to buy the wanted items at three times what I originally paid, she repeated that there was nothing that could be done. So a store error would have cost me, when I was clear as to what I wanted to do, and there was nothing to be done. I walked out with nothing. The most heartbreaking part of this story is that the scented scrub was for my mother, who has dementia, and it's the only scent she will allow me to use on her at this stage of her disease. It is difficult to get her to bathe, so having this would have eased both our lives. Calls to BBW customer service were a waste of time because they ineffectively offered me 20% off for my troubles. So not only did I drive an hour for an item that would have eased my daily life, I was told that an error by the store wasn't going to be rectified. Canton BBW, please provide training to your employees and/or empower your managers.

But for the most part I really like this store and it's a lot closer to me than any of the others. So I will definitely be back soon!

I've had an extremely frustrating experience trying to get my prescription filled at this location…read more For an entire week, I've been going back and forth--four separate visits--only to be told each time that my prescription would be ready "within the hour." I'd return the next day, and it still wouldn't be ready. On one visit, I waited at the window for 25 minutes because that's what I was told it would take. The entire time, the customer service was poor. What shocked me most was being yelled at by the pharmacist, and then having the supervisor come over and raise their voice at me too. I've never been treated like that before. To make matters worse, I was threatened for "holding up the line," when in reality, I was only there because they hadn't done their job the first three times. If they had filled the prescription when they said they would, there wouldn't have been a line to hold up. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope they take steps to improve how they treat customers and manage prescriptions.

Arriving, I was told that the prescription could not be filled until next week due to the insurance interval. So, why call and say it is ready???? For a year or more, when picking up the prescription, they don't have the full amount; it sometimes takes several trips to get the entire 90 day amount. On 2 occasions, it took 4 trips, including the false alarms saying it was ready for pickup, but the pills had not been delivered to the store. The excuse is that this is brand specific and they don't keep a full 90 day supply !! I checked at Publix and the pharmacist showed me 6 bottles of 90 on the shelf. Done with Wallgreens

I'm very disappointed in this location. It started out great when they first opened with plenty of…read moreopportunities to have products custom fragranced. The longer the store stayed open, the less helpful the employees became. Nowadays, if you go in there especially in the daytime, the people who seem to be the "shift leads" will tell you that they don't have any way to make custom fragrances, and that they're out of everything, and that they only have a handful of things premade, and they cannot make anything new. I went around Christmas time to try to get some body scrubs and some dish soap and laundry soap. I was told that I could only buy what was on the shelf already made, and that they would not be Custom fragrancing anything. I told my husband I was disappointed I couldn't get my favorite fragrances, so he went to the location in Roswell, which was more than happy to help him and I got a wonderful set of body scrubs and soaps for Christmas. He said the people in the Roswell location were very friendly and told him that in Canton they should be able to do the same thing and they could not understand why I had been turned away. I went again to the Canton location in January, hoping to find different personnel on a weekday and was again told that they did not have any fragrances to make anything customized. When I walk into the Canton location, I feel as though my presence is not welcomed. The associates in that store stay behind the fragrance bar and do other tasks while customers are shopping and it's hard to get their attention if you need anything. If you do get a question to them, they act bothered as if they wish you would just go away. I noticed another shopper the last time I was there and she was being ignored. She had questions, and the person behind the counter was dismissing her and acted as if she wished the lady would just leave. it was not like this at all when the store first opened and I remember being treated very nicely. I remember the wide variety of fragrances that could be made and I remember being able to choose whatever I wanted for my scrubs and laundry soaps. From now on, I'm going to have to shop in the Roswell location because the people in the Canton store are so unfriendly and can't be bothered to deal with customers. I used to work in retail, and in fact, I worked in a shop called Garden Botanika where we made custom fragrances for our clientele. It was one of the most enjoyable parts of my job, and I loved helping people and I never took the job for granted. I was happy to be employed and I was happy to be getting a paycheck and I was happy that customers were coming in getting excited about our products. I think there is a big difference with this generation today, because they seem to want to work for nothing, pick up a paycheck, and scroll on social media instead of helping customers. I think the Canton location really needs to take a hard look at who they have in management at that store and take a look at what the customer experience is on a typical basis. They probably need to send in secret shoppers to see what the experience is like.

The prices aren't exactly cheap nor are they ridiculously expensive. It's in that sweet spot of treat yourself occasionally range. They do offer deals. On my visit, it was but 5 get 2 free. The orange scent is my favorite. You can have a soap making event there which seems like a novel idea. The customer service was friendly and helpful. Recommended.
