There's a young pharmacist who appears to be a little bit of a tyrant. The pharmacy technicians who are always helpful, seem to be unhappy and stressed by her. I myself had to speak with her and she was, short and had a very abrupt attitude towards me and when I asked questions about the price of medication vs the mail order pharmacy she ripped the tag off the medication and walked away. Hmmm? Guess she was having a bad day, but you could feel the tension behind the counter, it was awful. read more

Shout out to JEN, who saved me last Wed. 12/10. I put a same day photo order for "coasters" in at another Walgreens and they cancelled it because they did not have the materials to make it. Phone calls to 2 other Walgreens couldn't help either. As I was on my way to meet old high school friends (class of '73), these were going to be a little gift of a group photo taken 35 years ago! I called the Rt. 88 store and Jen could not have been any kinder. I explained I was on my way to meet these friends and needed these coasters within the hour. Her words, "no problem" were music to my ears. JEN, you were not at the counter when I rushed in for p.u. but I wanted you to know your efforts were the hit of the day for this group of senior ladies. ZERO customer service. Simply asked them to verify that a fedex package was in their possesion and they refused. Just go to Walmart next door. Is there really any reason Walgreens even exists? read more

I WOULD RATE IT NO STARS IF I COULD. They have shorted me on my medication more than 3 times and have treated me like I was the one with the issue because of it. They did the same thing to my husband. I have now had to report them to their corporate office because someone there obvious has a drug problem or they are selling drugs on the side. I will be changing my pharmacy ASAP!!! Please go elsewhere if you want the medication that you are paying for. read more

Been my regular pharmacy for about 5 years....until now!! First of all the pharmacist this afternoon needs a SERIOUS ATTITUDE CHECK!! Just because Ocean County is filled with drug addicts, does not mean that everyone prescribed a controlled substance is some sort of crackhead. I am absolutely appalled at the way that I was treated at this pharmacy after coming here for so many years. I'm not going to get into the details of my situation, but not only did he out right refuse to assist me in any way, although insurance was willing to work with me, the pharmacist spoke to me like I was some scumbag. I am a 34-year-old Masters level social worker living with muscular dystrophy and ADHD, I am living with severe pain and I have not even attempted to try pain management because of all of the problems with heroin epidemic in this area. I have never seen so many dopers since I moved down to Ocean County from Middlesex County. They have completely ruined treatment for people like me with their doctor shopping and stealing of prescriptions. I have been taking the same medications for over a decade and needed my prescription filled a few days early because I will be out-of-state for my father's wedding and unable to fill it. I have never asked for an early refill and I do not deserve to be treated this way, nobody does. read more

After reading these reviews on yelp I couldn't help but write my own. This morning I visited this location because it was more convenient for me due to the fact that it was closer to my home. Usually I go the CVS on the other side of brick, for years, most of my medicines are filled their as well as my daughters. I used their "drive thru" pharmacy to fill a prescription due to the fact that I was ill and I had my child in the car. Not only was the pharmacist that was filling the prescription so un attentive but she was also horrible to deal with. Come to find out my insurance did not cover the prescription that my doctor wrote me and I was going to have to pay out of pocket. OK no big deal, but I would like to know why, wouldn't you? Well when I questioned the pharmacy technician on why I had to pay for a medication that my insurance had previously covered a year before, not only did she grab the credit card out of my hand and proceed to swipe it without answering my questions first, but she also rolled her eyes at me and thought I was the pain for asking these questions. I would like to know where my moneys going no matter if it's a dollar or $100. I would like to know why my insurance covered a script last year but it's not covering this year, and even if she doesn't know the answer she could have guided me in the right direction. I will never use this pharmacy again and I am also reaching out to the proper channels to have this technician "Kristen B", recognized for her poor customer service and uncompassionate regard for customers and their issues. read more

The SLOWEST RUDEST MOST DISINTERESTED lazy annoyed STAFF EVER. Any other location is better except their sister store in Toms River. You may die in line waiting for your RX. They act like seniors have all the time in the world, and they do not respect their customers' time or needs at all. Walgreens on the corner of bridge and 88 is INFINITELY BETTER. So is rite aid across that street near stop and shop. Their pharmacy at rite aid is top rate! read more

Walgreens on route 88 point pleasant is the absolute rudest bunch of knuckleheads. The male pharmacist obviously hates his job,the female BIG Power tripper yet when asked a question why or simply I need a PRINTOUT her comment IDK. I have gone to 2 different Walgreen's. BOTH refused to fill my prescription. BOTH lied and said my physician was under some sort of investigation. That was a bald face LIE. I called the Division of Consumer Affairs who looked up my physician's name and reported to me that the Dr. indeed has a valid license to write valid prescriptions. NO INVESTIGATIONS going on at all. So both of these Phamacists have Medical degrees? They can refuse medication to me based on WHAT? Physician in good standing. Patient in good standing. Not only did they ban his prescriptions from one store but took it upon themselves to ban his prescriptions throughout the entire CHAIN???? That is WAY overstepping their bounds. By law each should have found a pharmacy CLOSE to my house if they refused. Instead they sent me back to a prior Pharmacy - 15 miles away. Round trip 30 miles!!!! I am disabled. This is during a heat advisory called by the weather services in the tri-state area. Status post coronary bypass surgery in May, 2018 they have me driving around in 100 degree weather without air conditioning. I told them both that I was disabled. They simply did not care. Their personal opinions have NO PLACE in the health care industry. I am not letting this drop. My civil rights under the Federal Disability Act requires that I be served without discrimination.
