I'm old enough to remember the neighborhood pharmacies, the family run places, what were called The Druggist's. After being given trouble every single time I tried to fill a prescription at the major chain pharmacy, I was referred to Future Pharmacy in Howell, NJ. This pharmacy is just like the old-time places I grew up with. They know your name and greet you pleasantly every time you go in. They ask how you are, and always have your medications ready when promised. As important as the personal service is, it wouldn't mean anything if they didn't know what they were doing. This team is professional, knowledgeable and very familiar with dealing with insurance. Insurance companies are now in the business of practicing medicine and are always looking for ways to give clients trouble. The staff at Future, particularly Lilly, handle the insurance company so well, and that alone is a great reason to do business with Future Pharmacy. So, friendly, knowledgeable staff, nice store, and they don't take any garbage from insurance companies. That formula works for me, and I'm sure it'll work for you as well. I have been going to Future Pharmacy for over 25 years. It is a fantastic pharmacy. They deal with you very nice. I don't want to one days as they find what you need. If they do not have it in stock couldn't ask for more kindness and they appreciate you and they help you out. They translate anything that is necessary. Did you speak different languages also which is very helpful for a lot of people in our area.! they try to please you at all times. I will tell you things that you need to know about your meds. Had a great experience with them. We had to get tested for COVID Christmas Day and they were one of the few pharmacies open with tests available. The wait time was very short and they go over every step with you. While masks are optional on the customers part, they have social distancing and make you take the tests in your car to avoid close contact. Overall, a very professional and nice pharmacy! read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy. The staff are extremely rude. They ask me 20 questions about my medications only to tell me they dont have it. I ask when they will have it and they rudely answer me with i dont know. There are so many other pharmacies that treat you with respect and get you the medications. Its dirty and unorganized. Please do yourself a favor and find a decent pharmacy close by. read more

What can I say about Future Pharmacy. They have an amazing staff , such friendly helpful and very knowledgeable people.From over the counter medications to homeopathic medications, they know it all! I've been using this pharmacy for years and i have always walked out with a smile. They will do just about anything to satisfy the customer. I have dealt with so many other pharmacies in the past, and there is nothing comparable to this pharmacy. You literally walk in with your prescription and walk out with your medication within 5 minutes. They are really loving people, they treat you like family, they care enough to help out your most loved ones. Last week i was running late and i knew they were about to close....I called the pharmacy and she told me she will wait for me. I started going to Future Pharmacy about 5 years ago when they were the one place I could find to fill a specific medication. They are wonderful there. You go in and everyone knows you. If you need something they do not have in stock it is in by 8 am the next day, unlike Big pharmacies where it could take days to a week to get in stock. They are all so kind and go out of their way to accommodate you. One of my husbands medications I'm not covered by our insurance and they give us the best price possible, even less than if you use RX coupon apps somewhere else. I moved about 2 years ago and I still make the 30 minute trip there rather than a local chain, because it is just a much better experience. If you live in the Howell area they are defiantly worth checking out, you will not want to go to a Big Pharmacy again. Also, they all speak Russian if that helps. I honestly wanted to say thank you for dealing with an insurance company that did not want to hear nothing from me and was not understand of my situation and with out my medications that they were refusing to fill but I still want to know what you said or what you did but all that matters is that you got them filled. With out my medications I could have had seizures also not life threatening panic attacks but medications I need that due to the hurricane that I was stuck in I lost everything I had so again Lilly I just wanted to say thank you BUT I STILL WANT TO KNOW HOW YOU DID IT.... read more

We were in a bind because our mom was flying out on Monday and needed a piece of medical equipment that came missing from her portable oxygen rental.
