The Pharmacy is just inadequate. I get the same script every three months. NEVER in stock! this is at least the 10th time. I call it in three days ahead. the day and time you can pick it up is when you get the msg it is out of stock. Apparently they don't even look at it until the date and time it is due. So calling it in days ahead does not help. Their response was for me to call them the week before.....Okay and wait 40 minutes on the phone. This isn't rocket science. I can't be the only one who uses this. it is suppose to be on automatic refill. Stock the item or figure out the trigger to get it ordered timely. Understaffed in the pharmacy , love the fact that they are open 24/7 Wait times for medicine can be 2 hours or more. Picking up can be a chore due to long lines. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible ! That's all ! .... 4 phone calls to the pharmacy (nice music...not ) totaling 1.5 hours and three hang-ups (either by the workers or I just timed out while waiting) .... I can't refill online because they don't acknowledge my birthdate to refill a script (I've been with them since they opened their doors in my town, and my birthdate hasn't changed) ! I have ordered well over $25k in scripts with them in the last 2 years ... but I'm not in the system via my birthdate... uugh ! Figure your stuff out or I'm switching pharmacy's .... The girl at the pharmacy counter on wednesday night (1/25) is probably the most competent, efficient person I've ever met. She was unbelievable and the pharmacy in my hometown 5 miles away could learn a lot from her. That pharmacy was packed as they are the only 24 hour place in the area. this has to be the worst "pharmacy" in the area ! constantly and repetitively notifying that prescriptions are available and they are not! one example: tobacco substitute throat lozenges that are sold commercially at the front of the store:: was notified the script was filled, but then it was not when i went for pick up and then they refused to walk to the front of the store to get a few to fill the script!!! another example, notifed via text on feb 4th of a partial fill of a script. waited to see if they would eventually fill the full script before going there. went today, february 24 -- 20 days later after notification - and they still have not filled the full script- and will not for another 5 days !!! !!! avoid this pharmacy at all costs ! it is unprofessional, pathetic, terrible, inconsiderate and incompetent!!! just disgusting !!! read more

Wish I could give a 0 - the pharmacy staff was so rude. Pharmacy's new hours are until 22:00 - pulled up in 22:01 and they REFUSED to give me my prescription as I was in severe pain. Every time I come to this Walgreens pharmacy, there is always an issue with my prescription. I can specify on the phone, in notes online, etc. that I want the recommended brand for my pills (not generic). My insurance covers and recommends the manufacturer that I request. I even had the staff add it to my notes on my personal profile. I call ahead every time to make sure. Without a doubt, I get a random generic brand every single time- and have to correct it- for the past 7 years of doing business there. They never cease to amaze me and still go against my many requests each refill. Today, I went with an Amoxicillin prescription from my dentist because I am getting a tooth implant and needed an antibiotic. They literally had no customers, and simply had to pour a common pill into a bottle and seal it. That took a half out of me standing around and waiting. The only reason I'm giving more than one star is because it's open 24 hours and they offer a drive-thru. read more

Pharmacy customer service is appalling - just spent 37+ minutes on hold "waiting for the next available customer rep" so I could check the status of two prescriptions that were phoned in by my doctor over four hours ago, The pharmacy either needs much more help or they need to actually answer the phone. read more

Tonight was officially my last night shopping at Walgreens after 9 years due to the awful attitude of the manager Christoper! I simply explained to him that I had a card for a store credit which I left at my Friend's house, I asked if he could look up the return and help me out since I had to pay a taxi to Arrive at the store and I live an hour away! He was loud and totally rude towards me! I was so disgusted by his attitude that I will never purchase another product from there again! I was a customer since 2009!! How attitude was a disgrace! He seems to be in a bad mood and thinks because he is a store manager he can get away with disrespecting me "a customer"'since Nobody was around and he had a chip on his shoulder! I had a horrible day and then to have to be talked down to and harassed because Christopher was in a bad mood was so inexcusable! This is a review for the pharmacy, only. I have my choice of many Walgreens pharmacies and I choose this one because it is open 24 hours. Well not anymore, I'll be switching to the one in oakhurst. The pharmacy staff is unbelievable. I'm always waiting on the drive thru line and the one in the store for a VERY long time. Even if there are only 2 cars in front of me. The pharmacy staff are all idiots. When you ask them why your prescription can't be filled they tell you they don't know. When I wanted to put my daughter on my account, they were unwilling to help and told me they don't know how to do that. Why offer a service online and then when asked for help they say "we don't know how to do that" what kind of stupid people is this Walgreens hiring??? When i refill my prescription and they send me a text/email saying it's ready to be picked up, I go there a day after that to make sure it's actually filled and they tell me that it's not filled and I would have to wait a half hour for them to fill it. I honestly don't have time for this pharmacy anymore. I tested out the Walgreens in oakhurst twice and I never had this issue with them. When they texted me that the prescription was ready I went same day and it was actually ready for me. This is my local Walgreens and it was my favorite Walgreens. However after today I will be using CVS. While I was waiting in line behind 3 people my boyfriend made a purchase and decided to wait in the car. After 8 min he called me and said he was going to go to the drive through window. So I walked out and got in the car. After 5 min an employee came to the window and asked if we were there for a COVID test, because the drive up window is only for COVID tests. We explained that I already waited in line in the store and now at the window, and if I came in could I go to the front of the line. I discribed the 3 people in front of me and I would wait. She nastily said I wouldn't recommend cutting the line. I completely understand that there is a staffing shortage, but that's not what this is about. It's about customer service. This situation could have been desclated by just handing me my prescription. I have a cc on file. She already spent time at the window talking to me, what's one more min after I have now waited 15 min. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The customer service (as well as pharmacists) give you an attitude and if you call for hour prescription hours before hand somehow you still are going to wait at least 20 minutes. I've given them so many chances and finally decided to switch pharmacies. I had a question for someone in the pharmacy about an over the counter drug and she cut me off and said she was busy. Very rude cashier named Alan, he was quick to think I was returning an item that was bought 6 months prior when in fact it was just days he read the receipt wrong. I understand we make mistakes but he was rude. Then I was charged full price for a clearance item and had to deal with him again and then a very unkept looking manager named Matt, because of their laughable customer service I will use another pharmacy there is nothing in Walgreens that I can't find else where except Alan & Matt!! read more

Overworked, short staffed I am sure. Third in line. Had a vax appointment. Requested my ID and told me to take a seat. No other explanation Of the process. She Set my cards down and waited on the next person and two more after that. I walked up and asked if I had to wait for everyone to be waited on. Immediate attitude and rudely stated prescriptions more important than a shot. I am waiting on you and them. Finally mentioned she was waiting for response on coverage. Would have been nice to know that instead of "take a seat", and watch me wait on these people. I have been getting scripts here for years. Insurance response is immediate. been there many times. Since I waited my turn she could have least started the insurance process At that time. She did not do that until after waiting on other customers. Then she decided to discuss the issue with the customer she was waiting on. Oh, how professional. After my shot, I asked her about follow on shot. She told me to call and make it. I came here for my COVID 19 vaccine. Hildania the pharmacist was rude and problematic and was insisting I was not eligible for the shot. When I told her I was a smoker she said that's not good enough. I said well the governor says otherwise. She said I needed another health issue to go along with smoking to get the vaccine. When I gave her one she still was reluctant to give me the shot. I told her to call my doctor as I was there at the advice of him. She then decided to give it to me. After I was jabbed she gave me my paperwork and attempted to walk out of the room. I said whoa don't you have to monitor me for 15 minutes for any adverse reactions. She said well shop around and if you feel ill come and get me. I did not feel comfortable at all with this. Clearly if I fainted in an aisle how am I supposed to tell her I am feeling ill. I was not able to schedule my second vaccine anywhere else so I had to return for my 2nd dose. The pharmacist I saw on Tuesday was much nicer but still no monitoring. When I brought my son for his shot elsewhere and mentioned this they told me it is a big red flag and I should report them. If you have allergies please do not go for your vaccine here. You will not be monitored and will be left to fend for yourself. People are already nervous getting this vaccine to feel like you are not being taken care of just adds to the nervousness. If you can help it please go to a mega site or hospital you are treated with much better care there. Luckily I do not live in the area so I will never have to return to this location again. read more

Awful pharmacy! Always a line at the drive through and borderline impossible to get in touch with them via phone. After receiving an email that my prescription was refilled, I went out to pick it up -waited for 25 minutes on line at 9:00 pm- only for them to tell me it cannot be refilled. Then when asked why I received an email stating it was ready, the reply was simply, "I don't know." Needless to say, I currently do not have the medication that I need. Thanks, Walgreens! read more

While trying to get photos together for a funeral,we first went to another walgreens and it wasn't until we placed the order that we were told the photo center was closed. We then went to the one in west long branch and Mike could not of been anymore helpful. We went to one machine and he explained that they were having problems with that machine and asked us to move to a different one. When he saw that we were done, he processed our order very quickly and professional. Rang us up and gave his condolences. He made the process so.much easier. This store is very fortunate to have him. We were at this location earlier in the day for pictures and we received the same customer service that Mike gave us. read more

5 STAR POTENTIAL EXCEPT FOR ONE THING: PHARMACIST LIZ. This store is overall a great location and up until a week ago I would travel past other Walgreens just to come to this store. The convenience of the physical location and a 24 hour drive through are amazing and the store has just about everything anyone could need. My previous interactions with the store and pharmacy staff were always very pleasant. I'm giving 1 star for ONE reason and it's also why after years of coming to this location and having been a Walgreens customer my entire life I have switched to Rite Aid. I have a routine prescription I have taken for years and picked up monthly at this pharmacy, the other day when I was there I had a pharmacist help me I had never seen before and he appeared to be young, he seemed very unsure of everything he was doing from the start and when he told me there was an issue with something that had never been an issue before I asked to speak with the other pharmacist. Her name was Liz I believe. The level of disrespect, obvious annoyance and general rudeness she showed towards me, later my mom (who wound up having to call in) and lastly (and I'm not sure which is most unprofessional) my doctors office is and was unprecedented for myself, my mom, my grandmother (who overheard the conversation between my mother and the pharmacist) and even my doctors office. My doctors office handles hundreds of patients and is one of the biggest practices serving jersey shore medical center and being so they deal with countless pharmacies. the office manager who has been there for years and who knows me personally told me she never encountered such a hostile pharmacist and recommend I switch immediately to another pharmacy. The details and specifics of the actual issue are just as bizarre and extraordinary, but don't really matter in this setting. I left the pharmacy shaking and almost in tears after an hour and after having to get my mom and my doctors office involved. I don't write many yelp reviews and never write negative ones, but attention needs to be called to this pharmacist Liz (I believe her last name was Cheng or Chang, but am not certain.) I always will give people the benefit of the doubt and I try and rationalize that said person has outside issues in life going on just like the rest of us and we all can mistakenly let those factors effect our interactions, but her outright disrespect and rudeness to not only myself, but my mother and to my doctor were appalling and one of the most unprofessional interactions I have seen in my life. read more

This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. Every time I have had to fill a prescription here I wait at least a half an hour and sometimes up to an hour. I have no idea what takes them so long either because there's is never that many people waiting in line. I avoid this place at all costs. My family is in here at least once a week because of their pharmacy. If we had a CVS nearby, we would switch in a heartbeat. While has pharmacy over the years so that it is now much better than it used to be, the rest of the store is a disgrace.
