We weren't expecting much when we dropped in to grab some food for our short drive to Philadelphia…read more My sister was staying across the street from this establishment and the location was most convenient. My husband has wanted to buy drinks and lottery tickets. I saw the "Boar's Head" meat brand on in their sandwich area and thought I'd give it a shot. They had a deal for a drink, a bag of chips, and half a sandwich for $6+. Their menu is extensive. I was really impressed. I decided to do a full roast beef sandwich. The guy asked if I wanted mayo and the fixings, I said yes with a dash of salt, pepper, and light vinegar. The full size sandwich was huge! We got into our car and on our drive, I pulled out the sandwich and let my husband take a bite. He says "That's the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had!" Then I took a bite. It was true. I come form a place where our sandwiches come from Subways, Jimmy Johns, and Jersey Mike's. That sandwich was so good that I will compare all my sub sandwiches to it. The guy, I assumed the owner, greeted us when he walked in. He took his time to make the sandwich. He was courteous and even wished us 'good luck' on the lotto purchase. I took one star off because inside was kind of sketchy but man, the sandwiches are so worth it. What a hidden gem!

High quality sandwiches and great pasta/bean salads. The crumb cake at the counter is addictive!…read more They have a little of everything. Glad to have them in the neighborhood!

I have been coming here for almost a year now. They make good food here and the employees are nice…read morebut the past couple of times the food and employees attitude turned me off. I had gotten a chicken parmesan sandwich one time and the chicken had this funky taste to it as well as being dryer than sand on a beach. When I told one of the employees about it, he just scoffed it off and gave me a little attitude. I asked if I could get something else to replace the sandwich and he was hesitant about it (as was I at this point). I ordered the meatball parmesan sandwich and he went to tell the cook in the back. I could hear him talking in his native language and obviously it was about me. The second and most recent time I had ordered a sandwich with a side of fries along with a side of honey mustard. The same employee took my order and read my order back to me. I said "No I want the sauce on the side". He said "Ok". When the order came out I noticed sauce around the rim of the styrofoam container. I opened it and low-and-behold the cook put honey mustard on the fries. Now, when has sauce ever come like that, anywhere? I said that I asked for it on the side because I don't like it like that. Sauce on fries makes them soggy. Who wants that? Not me. So he took it to the cook and the cook asked if I could just take it this one time and next time he will put it on the side. Really?! I said "No I would like a new batch". He gave me a look like "really?" I got my 'new' batch of fries, drove back to work, opened it up and laughed with disgust. He took the fries that already had honey mustard on them and fried them again! They all stuck together and smelled like the sauce. I bit into one and my assumptions were correct. I called them right away and I explained to him that I knew what they did. He was reluctant to give me a new batch and gave me attitude. I demanded new fries in the coming week, but I doubt I will be back after this incident. They don't care about the customer or their customer service.
