Prescription : ( the gave me some else's medication , I'm sure that's a HIPPA violation. ) Shopping: I waited at the photo counter for over 15 minutes just to have the cashier take a person she knew ( that just walked up) and she saw me standing there for a least 10 minutes. The doctor called in a prescription onto their answering phone on Monday, checked in and they didn't ah e it. Doctor tried again on Wednesday again Walgreens didn't get it. Dr calls back Tuesday and stays on phone for 31 minutes to finally speak to a person, finally get the prescription. 4 days to fill a prescription! Every time I call or walk in it takes 20-50 minutes to get to talk to somebody. Walgreens closed there other location and Rite aid closed theirs and moved all our prescriptions there. I'm still fighting them to move my prescriptions to a new location but they tell me that I need new prescriptions for each drug! What a mess read more

The pharmacy is Too long of a wait stay away. Very inefficient, takes too long for each customer. I don't know why, doesn't make sense. I tried this place because it's 24 hours. I normally go to CVS and really don't like their hours. I'll have to find some other place. read more

Now I see why you get bad review. Absolutely the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Called three times. on hold 45 minutes with no answer. Finally some picked up, yes, we have it. It will be ready in 1.5 hours. Call back to be sure. called back, on hold45 minutes they told us they don't have it....Really! They either don't answer phones, put you on hold, never get back to you and out right lie! Every person working on Route 33 in Neptune should be fired. Totally incapable. This store needs to be shut down immediately. That failed attempt at a comb over called mike does not know how to do his job and the days you're supposed to pick up your SCHEDULED medication constantly changes. Trust me, if you go here with problems you will only leave with more as these morons don't even know store policy. Pharmacist filled one CS but wouldn't fill the other CS that I had picked up on the same day....lol so obviously they don't teach them how to count. The pharmacy is the worst. Customer service is terrible. My doctors office said they sent my script over so I waited 40 mins before going to the pharmacy. I go through the drive thru and give my name and date of birth. The pharmacy tech tells me she has nothing I asked if she was sure and she told me yes and tells me call the dr so I called to verify it was sent. The girl walks away from the window comes back and i can see her through the window standing there. I wanted to ask her a question and she proceeds to yell "you cannot wait in the drive thru you need to come back or come inside" I just wanted to find out how long it would take to fill. read more

My wife and I went there to get pictures made up for our grandmother's funeral and on the website for that particular store there's 24 hour store/photo/and pharmacy. The associate there told us the photo center is closed (after we placed the order) and we asked to see a manager because of the Walgreens website saying it was 24hrs and there was no sign saying it was closed. The manager by name is Elijah and he couldn't be anymore disrespectful. We tried to explain the need for it and still was unable to assist. It took Mike from west long branch to be able to assist with more customer service then Elijah was capable to do. Both of us are retail managers in specialty retail, we also managed a photo center at the Walmart on 66 west in Neptune. We know that all it takes is to press a button to start the process and I have noticed there was an order screen up on the machine and it wasn't in reset. We both will be calling corporate to get this resolved. Elijah should not be in a position of authority in a customer centered profession. From a professional standpoint, it looked like we were just an inconvenience to him and because we appeared that way, he was unwilling to assist knowing the gravity of the situation. No customer in any customer centered profession should have to be carried out crying and screaming in tears. read more

2 days and i still dont have my prescription for an ear infection....computer issues coupled with smart mouthed employee who advised they dont know when I will be able to pick it up...this was trip #3, not even I'm sorry for the inconvenience.... unbelievable!!...how are the even in business....they will never get my business again... now trying to transfer the prescription to CVS...who btw couldn't have been more understanding and helpful....I may have to wait another day anyway....I'd rather wait then give Walgreens $1 read more

This review is specifically about the Walgreen's Pharmacy Department, located at Route 33 and Neptune Boulevard. The Pharmacy called to tell me that my prescription was ready. I drove over to their Route 33 and Neptune Boulevard location immediately because I needed that medication which had run out over the Thanksgiving holiday. When I went to the Pharmacy Dep't., I saw that no one was waiting in line and believed that I would be out in short order. SURPRISE!! There were about seven people on the other side of the counter and not one of them acknowledged that I was there - not even so much as a glance in my direction. After 15 minutes of this blatant disrespect, while I stood standing and waiting, I walked out because it didn't look like anyone was going to stop whatever they were NOT doing to see why I was there standing in front of them. It is obvious from seeing all the other One Star reviews of this particular location, written before mine, that the Walgreen's Corporation doesn't really care about either customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction. I am copying and pasting this review and putting it on Google + and forwarding it to my Doctor so he can advise his other patients to refill their prescriptions elsewhere. I called ahead to refill the prescription and when I got here the prescription was not ready. They told me rather rudely that they could text me later and asked me to move along while I was trying to get a firm answer as to when my prescription would be ready. Why do they have a refill service if it does not function properly? I will never use this pharmacy again. read more
