Called store for hours and sales person responded 5pm. Arrived to store at 4:50 and sales girl locked door as we were walking towards the store. Then as we were knocking on the door she shut off the lights. Hope the manager sees this post and is aware staff closed early. read more

The women who work in this store are ALWAYS kind, helpful and friendly. I've been here, easily, dozens of times -- possibly hundreds. Without exception the staff is fantastic. The one and only reason I signed up on Yelp, using my real name and Facebook account, is to counteract the creep below, Jay L. of Holmdel, who clearly has racial issues. In the 10 or so years I've been visiting this particular Sally's, I've walked in with a variety of problems, ideas and needs. In every single instance the kind women here have met my questions with better advice than any hair colorist or stylist I have ever met. As for you, Jay L., I'm going to pray you see the light soon. Rather than see the world through such hateful racist glasses, you'd be wise to change your ways. If you are smart enough to get some genuine confidence, I guarantee your life will improve. The worst experience. I had a bad experience at the Supercuts across from there and they burnt my head in numerous places. When I explained it to the lady she kept saying that it was my fault and she tells me "you deserved what you got because you went to a cheap place".... she kept digging digging digging and was very mean to me for no reason. She said she is a "colorist" which means she has all the knowledge in the world I'm disgusted by how someone of that age can act like that. Very disgusted. read more

I am a Sally Beauty frequent flyer, always seeking out one in whatever neighborhood I'm in. I love the product selection, the staff is always very helpful, and I am never disappointed. Alyssa was extremely helpful in suggesting alternate products for my frizzy, curly hair, and in directing my sister towards the right keratin product. Horrible Customer Service! I'm a professional stylist and never had such a horrible experience at any other supply stores in the area. I was cursed at by a employee with a bad pink dye job because it was 7:55 and I realized while the nice cashier checked me out that there was a free bag with purchase. I took the bag and put it on the counter. (Bad dye job) verbal assaulted me while the cashier checked me out. She told me I can come back tomorrow to make my purchase. 8:03 was my check out time on my receipt. I was followed out into the parking lot by this piece of trash. Never in my life will I shop at Sally's of Neptune! Disgusting! I will call corporate tomorrow. Beware of this place! read more
