If I could possibly give this place a zero I would. I have tried many times to use their pharmacy but it just keep getting worse. On Friday December 4, I had a dental surgery, I walked over to their Pharmacy. The line at their pharmacy was out the door. I had my husband drop it off it later. Again the line out the door. He waited 45 min then was told it would be ready in an hour. My husband came back in 3 hrs. Then he was told it would be read the next day. We came the next day. It still was not ready!! We waited another 20 min. Today Is Dec9 th my dentist tried for 45 min to get through on the phone to call in the script.. They where hung up on twice!!!!!! Do not go here!! Go anywhere else!! The store is usually really tidy and a couple of the employees seem to care. I understand everyone is short staffed right now so I'm going to put it out there that this complaint is a long time coming. Recently the new pharmacy staff seems to be decent, albeit only basically trained. But for the past five years I have always had trouble getting my prescriptions on time without a long song and dance, the wait times inside the store and out in the drive through are absurd, and the phone lines may as well not even have an incoming line. I have had to have doctors send and resend prescriptions over because the pharmacy "didn't get it." All of these would be understandable if they were not almost every month. I work in retail so I know how hard it is when you're short staffed because everything piles up. So for the staff that seem to give a darn, you guys are not what I'm complaining about and the only reason I gave three stars versus one. Also the app is a joke. No matter how many refills I requested via the app, NONE of them ever made it to the store. Corp might want to look into that. Except other poor souls that were stuck on the insurance I was for a while have no better options. Oh. read more

This is the WORST Pharmacy in Brentwood. All the bad reviews and comments are true! They consistently make you wait 40 min plus and there is always a line halfway down the hall. They have the worst service, tried to call several times and they would put me on hold then they would just hang up after waiting 15 min. Again over and over I would try and they would just hang up. Not sure why this level of Unorganized incompetency in a pharmacy! If you call, you are on hold a minimum of 3 minutes be fore speaking to ANYONE. If you go into the store, the line is SO LONG which moves slower than a snail...I've seen it as long as the middle isle! The only way to get anything resembling a normal expected pace in in drive through. If you have prescriptions transferred, they say they never got the transfer! Spent long time in line just to know that COVID test kits through my insurance is like prescription: need a day to process. They told me I would get a text message when ready, which never arrived. Emily in photo center was super helpful with my online order I had to make last minute modifications to. I had created a personalized family calendar for 2020 and left out 2 people! Thank you Emily for being so kind and working with me. I was really worried about my error and it made me very happy knowing I was able to correct it before sending to my family as gifts! Three nights ago I went to Walgreens 6570 Lone Tree Way, Brentwood, CA. to upload $500 to my PayPal account. Hours went by and I didn't see the money in my PayPal account. I've spoke to 3 Walgreens managers and their corporate office. No one can provide me a reasonable explanation as to where is my money. The person named Trevor, at the Walgreens corporate office said there may have been a glitch. He said, " I suggest you find another way to pay your bills." Either way, I dont have access to my $500. Only positive I can give the pharmacy is they're open late. I give 0 stars for the pharmacy's service. I feel bad for those who work the counter and get the brunt of people's frustrations. The pharmacy is super slow. They say will text when ready, however, we receive the text, show up, and not ready. This happens every single time, especially when more than 1 medication has been prescribed. Do they text when part is filled? My husband got a text, showed up 20 minutes after received, stood in line 10 minutes or so, and only 2 of the 3 items for our son were ready. The lady said 5 minutes and the 3rd one will be ready. Over 30 minutes later it's ready. This isn't the first time this has happened. One time we showed up and they didn't fill the prescription because the co-pay was $20 so they assumed we might not want it. Instead of making it a rush they took their time. read more

Waste of time Staff is rude in the pharmacy area they make tons of excuses as to why you're prescription isn't ready such as the way in which the medication was sent over. Which is odd because last I check they are only fulfilling an order in which is sent over to them via computer. Placed medication for pickup yesterday at 5PM came in today at 11AM waited for 30 minutes for them to tell me that it's going to be ready at 2:30PM all because the way in which the prescription was sent over I mean theirs only one way and that's straight from the doctor. Just to be told by another pharmacist that the reason for the delay is because their short staffed. So they don't know why prescription orders aren't being filled, lying about it, and takes hours just to get vital medications. I wouldn't bother going to any Walgreens in this area because the pharmacy just sucks in general you'd might be better off trying somewhere even further or cvs. read more

Worst customer service at the pharmacy. I was there 15 min before there 1:30 break time and the pharmacist was having trouble with my prescription. She told me I already picked it up and then she said I had to wait for my insurance to approve it. I told her that was impossible. I never picked it up and I tried to show her proof from the Walgreens app showing documentation on all my prescriptions and how many refills I have available. Then she returns to the window and told me she located y prescription but said it was now her break time and I had to come back after they reopened. I wish I had names but she was an Asian female. I looked at her puzzled and said, "Oh, now you're in break?" Then a heavy set whites lady with blonde hair walks over and rolls the blinds down as I'm in the middle of asking why they can't just give me my prescription now. I don't mind the long wait times- I realize Covid has really made everyone understaffed and overworked. My issue is with the lack of communication and they way they do communicate to you. Yelling to the tech in the window with the answers to my questions and to tell me the brand my Dr. Is requesting is out of stock, the manufacturer is out of business with no idea if I need to go to another location or let my doctor know so he can prescribe something else, all while also telling me it's a controlled substance and they can't fill it early. I KNOW it can't be filled early. I need to know IF and when it can be filled. I call to speak to the manager 2 hours later telling me it was ordered, but they can't tell me if it'll be available to pick up by the time my current prescription runs out due to controlled substance. I frequent this Walgreen's a lot post-workout at Diamond Hills. Here's how a typical visit goes: 1. Go to the refrigerated section to find the best zero calorie/sugar free drink that suits me at the time. My top picks: a carb free Monster (the blue one) or a Vitamin Water Zero. 2. Go to the magazine section and see who's on the cover of Women's Health, Cosmo, Men's Health (Ooh la la), and O Magazine -- JUST KIDDING about O Magazine. Oprah's in front of every cover except for that one time she let Ellen Degeneres be on the cover with her. How generous of her. 3. Walk up and down the candy aisle for about 10 minutes trying to decide on which candy to indulge in. Yup. Not even 5 minutes out of the gym and I'm already thinking about candy. My mom just told me last night after devouring apple pie and ice cream, "Grace, I honestly don't know how you lose weight." Well Moms, I don't know either. On this particular visit, I came up empty-handed in the candy aisle. I approached the counter and the super nice cashier guy asked me, "Would you like to buy a Wonka Bar? You could win a golden ticket." HUH? Did I step into Charlie and the Chocolate Factory all of a sudden? Instantly, the song "I've Got the Golden Ticket" played in my head. Pharmacy is very convenient due to location but that's all. Pharmacy had me on hold for 30-40 minutes from 11am to 11:40am to then pick up and tell me my prescription wasn't in the system. I decided to go in person and waited inline for another 30-40 minutes. Once at the counter the employee stated that they saw my order but that it wouldn't be ready until after 2:30pm (2 hours later). I went home for a while and returned by 3:30pm just in case. Waited in line again for about 20-30 minutes and was turned away again stating the order was put back because there was no insurance attached to the name. LONG STORY short, my wife calls and they stated the prescription will be ready by 5:30. ITS 6:30pm and my wife's still waiting at the Walgreens Pharmacy on LoneTree for my prescription. I'd avoid this pharmacy if you can. The multiple trips to the store and disappointing times, which took almost 8 hours to fill was a joke!!!! It is understood why this location has such a bad rating. I tried calling this location (pharmacy) about seven times now. The numerous calls were to get a prescription transferred over. Each time that I would call, someone would answer but then they would move it over to music. And it would continuously play music and they would never switch back. Because it is the day right after Christmas, I understand why this location "may be" quite busy. But to not ever answer anyone's call to the pharmacy ever? There were two elderly women ahead of me who were clearly perturbed at being left to wait while an employee walked around behind the counter like a chicken with it's head cut off doing absolutely nothing to help customers. After 23 minutes another employee came sauntering up to go to work. The first one said to the second one to not take his lunch at such an early time ... It was only 9:30 A.M. After he went back, things started to move. There were a total of 9 people in line and several of them were elderly and didn't appear to be in good health, there was a woman with a sick baby who was not too happy. This is really the worst pharmacy. They over charge people. We purchased medi care pharmacy ins. Showed it to staff they inputed to computor but never removed old discount cards. So we get charged a different price everytime we go. And Management doesnt know how to refund us back our money. So they are asking me to call back unt he can ask someone who does know how. His reason "Cuz he's really busy right now." I guess the 17 minutes I waited on hold wasnt enough to earn my place in line for service. Wow. My wife just got discharged from l&d. Very rough labor. This shirt Asian women basically tells her that she doesn't see her scrip and blows her off with an old fashioned eye roll. Keep in mind my wife is in a lot of pain. Obviously shaken from the whole ordeal. She comes crying and shaken back to the car. Then I walk in and they try and shoo me off. Uh uh. Not happening. I get on the phone with the hospital and they call right away. She told me her name was Jennifer. Well Jennifer, guess what? I am going to call tomorrow and speak with the General Manager. Most ridiculous drive through pharmacy ever!!!! Waited an hour to take a scheduled Covid test only for them to tell me once I finally got to the damn window that my "insurance code won't work" which means my insurance won't cover it. Mind you, I've taken a Covid test there before with no issues. I have great coverage and never been told my insurance won't cover anything. Anyways, I handed her my card in case she was mistaken and she still couldn't figure it out. I told her I've been there before with my same insurance and had no problems. She then told me some bs about policies changing blah blah. At this point there was a long impatient line behind me and I was so irritated that I drove off. I go home and make another appointment at a different Walgreens location and had NO issues there with my insurance or them using my "insurance code". Heavy set woman with redish hair proceeds to tell me my prescription may or may not come because it's a narcotic but if I was a regular customer it would be there. So how do you become a regular customer when she wouldn't take the time to even call another store to see if they had my medicine there. Was told she was too busy. Guess my 45 min wait meant nothing to them and if this is how they treat customers how will you get new ones? Should have called another store and would give you 0 stars if has the option. The pharmacy actually could not be worse. I have to pick up prescriptions often for my mother in law and I've never had a good experience. Maybe they don't have enough staff. Even if that is the case they move so unbelievably slow it is infuriating. There is no sense of urgency and they don't care at all about how long you wait or how many terrible reviews they get. I hate to write negative reviews but since I'm just sitting here in the drive through waiting to be helped why not. Their break on Saturday is supposedly from 1:30-2:00. It's 2:14 and the first car in line still has not been helped. I'm number 3. How much longer will it be?!?! The staff are nice enough, but this location has extremely short hours for a big chain pharmacy. The pharmacy is closed at 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday (and doesn't open until 10 AM on Sundays). It's also periodically closed at midday for lunch--they put up a sign saying they can't be open if there is no licensed pharmacist on duty. However, that doesn't explain why they apparently have insufficient pharmacists! I thought that perhaps it was a franchise operation, with an overly cheap local owner, but it appears that Walgreens are all corporate-owned, so I have no explanation. (The short-staffing also results in the longest pharmacy wait times and slowest service I have ever encountered at a Walgreens.) In addition, they've repeatedly been entirely or partially out of a medication that I needed, resulting in additional delays. This happened to me once in a blue moon at my previous Walgreens, but it's happened way too often here. This is all apart from the typical Walgreens issues--not receiving refills from the doctor, multiple/confusing/contradictory emails and phone messages about refills, etc. read more

Consistently have issues with the pharmacy supposed to open at 8am, a store manager came out and said they were going to be 40 minutes late at 8:20! and this isn't the first time that I've been at the pharmacy at 8 AM and they don't open because the pharmacist or whomever is late issues with the drive-through 98%of the time.
