The pharmacy is terrible. It's gotten much worse recently. It's a hit or miss when the pharmacy will be open and then it takes forever to fill prescriptions. I'm talking days. I transferred my meds to Sheldon's and cannot be happier. I'm amazed that my meds are refilled in hours instead of days. I'm also finished with the rude behavior and people who cannot even say "Thank you". read more

The only possible place you could go that is worse than this Pharmacy is CVS I left Walgreens and went to CVS thinking things would be better but boy was I wrong but anyway we're on here to talk about Walgreens right now the pharmacist at Walgreens at the time some little Vietnamese man let me know that he wouldn't be feeling my Klonopin anymore because I did most of my appointments Telehealth now is there something wrong with Telehealth if there is I think there's a million people out there using it that they need to let them know that Telehealth is just no good if you go to Walgreens don't go because if you used to have a health he won't do your prescriptions. One star because you have to. This is for the pharmacy. Rude staff, unprofessional, when asked why a routine Walgreens procedure wasn't followed they answered, "I dunno." Normal sh!t that isn't moving mountains. Don't answer phones, when they do, they hang up after super long holds. Pharmacists trying to get through for over an hour to transfer a prescription, no answer. Wow. Go anywhere else. read more

This new pharmacist is the most childish twit I have ever encountered. He charged my insurance over $2,000 for medications that were ready for pickup and then refused to give them to me bc he was mad that I reported him to management the prior month for not giving me my medication. There are consequences for your actions whether you think they apply to you or not. I will also be reporting him to the state board bc his actions against myself and others are intolerable and will not be accepted. Period. He canceled all my medications after I walked out. People like him are the stain on this earth. Merry Christmas, sir. May you have the day you deserve. I was very sick and this Walgreens pharmacists on 31 W Byp had to use their computer to get my prescriptions from the Walgreens on Scottsville Road which was closed for the week even though their website listed them as open. That stores manager told my husband to be at the BWY store at 9 am and the pharmacist there could fill my prescriptions using their shareable website on their computers. The pharmacist at the Byd store told my husband at 9 am he would fast track my prescriptions. We waited 3 hours to get two prescriptions the pharmacist made a huge mistake and didn't fill my third prescription which was for an antibiotic. There is NO an excuse for his unprofessional behavior and also his huge lie that my prescriptions would be ready early. I can understand now why Walgreens are closing several of our stores and I hope this unprofessional pharmacist is one of the first ones to go !!! DO yourself a favor and stay away from Walgreens especially this one. read more

I have literally waiting in line for 1.5 hours to get a prescription filled. The line behind me is 15 cars long and one person is working at 4:30pm. Staff was rude and unprofessional. They also advertise being open 24/7 but are not. read more

The pharmacy has really gone bad since the tornadoes came thru BG. They don't follow directions of "no automatic reorders", took 4 calls & a personal visit to get it stopped. Forget ???, to refill a prescription even though they have the Doctor's order. The Drive thru is a joke, one tech tries to work the window & is totally overwhelmed. They used to be a really great pharmacy but it has really gone downhill. read more

The wait time every time I come here is beyond terrible. There's a line wrapped around the building and the movement of the line is extremely slow. Expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour. read more

Love the fact that it's 24 hours but if you're using the pharmacy forget it !!! For the past three days I've waited in line over 30 minutes without even receiving my prescription. The employees are rude when you finally get up to the window to talk to them. I have never experienced a Walgreens with this bad of customer service ... I was looking for a place to get a flu shot and this Walgreens is the perfect spot. They offer flu shots for a very reasonable price. This store is open 24 hours and I was impressed to find out that flu shots are available 24 hours as well. The store was very busy but since they seem to be adequately staffed I was in and out in no time. The store itself is pretty organized and the pharmacy staff is friendly and fast. read more

I have given this Walgreens location a couple of chances but after today, I'm definitely looking elsewhere. My son has an ear infection. I brought his prescription to the counter and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. 40 minutes later, I was called to the counter and informed that they only had a few of his antibiotic pills and none of the decongestant in stock. I was instructed to visit the other Walgreens across town for the decongestant, and to come back tomorrow for the rest of his antibiotic. I asked that the antibiotic be transferred to the other Walgreens so that I only had to make two trips (to fill one prescription) rather than three. She assured me that I would only need to visit the drive through and that it would be ready. 30 minutes later, I pull into the other Walgreens, and they only have the rx for the decongestant-no antibiotic. I wait - they call. Then the pharmacist comes to the window and says that there is an allergy conflict because my son had a prior reaction to a drug in the same family. I'm not sure why they tried to hand those pills to me at the other Walgreens if he was going to have an allergic reaction but anyway... Now I am waiting again. Luckily, they were able to get the doctor on the phone before they closed for the holiday weekend. I was told it would be 15 minutes again - we'll see. read more

The level of incompetence at the pharmacy is staggering. We went in to get two prescriptions when my husband was sick. They only filled one of them, which was $40, and when we asked about the other, the tech said, "well, the only problem is it costs $137." Um, well, my husband needs it. I understand it's expensive, but why just ignore it rather than ask me before filling it. Of course, I needed it filled regardless of the price. Turns out, it was only $7 when it was rung up, because he has a secondary insurance. Two weeks later, I check the insurance for my claims. The first prescription was over charged. It should have also been $7. When I called the pharmacy, they insisted that his insurance didn't pay anything for it, and they didn't have record of his secondary insurance at all, even though it worked fine for the second prescription the same night. I asked why one was $7 and the other was $40, and she told me I was wrong and that I paid $137 for the second prescription that night. Staff was rude and incompetent. I'll never use them again. read more
