I pray I never have to enter this store again. I waited at the counter for 5-10 minutes for the system to come back up and what do they do? They help the drive in and ignore me. They overcharged me, tried to fix it but no idea how to do so. What's worse besides the awful customer service is the pharmacist not knowing the name of a common blood thinner by name or why it's prescribed. She literally had to look it up. This is scary. We have two or three CVS stores here in Bowling Green Well we only have two now cuz they shut the best one down of course first up next to the college that one should have never been shut down everybody lived that one. They treated you like somebody. At the other two CVS Lovers Lane and on the bypass nobody I mean nobody has ever had a good word to say about this place they give me the wrong people's prescriptions before and I went home with them and took them before I realized they give me the wrong damn medicine it's not mine. And I was good enough to just take it back in there slide it girl's counter and tell the guy what happened and that they have been opened and I did take one before I figured out if they're not my medicine does that sound like the type of crew you want filling your prescriptions sure as hell ain't mine and they want no more besides the fact they're going bankrupt and going under you want to know why they're going bankrupt they'll get away from paying that hundred million 200 million dollar fine that was imposed on them. Think I don't know what I'm talking about you better think again if I tell you a chicken can pull a plow just sit over the corner and watch the dust fly okay. read more

I was having an awful day after an emergency trip to the doctor, and I had discovered my insurance was cut off. The doctor told me the prescription would be as reasonable as possible without insurance. When I went to pick it up the lady that helped me was able to find me a significant discount that made it extremely reasonable. She made the whole process very smooth and I could not thank her enough. read more

Garbage. Worst pharmacy in bg. Awful customer service. I called in my prescription in the morning and had to leave a message because you can NEVER talk to a pharmacist there. Go to pick it up after work and he said id have to wait a few minutes. So I sigh because it should have been filled and he threatens to send it back to my doctor and make me go elsewhere. So I tell him I shouldn't have to wait.I called it in this morning, and then he proceeds to tell me that they don't have my medicine, like always.And I'd have to wait till tomorrow. I guess it is too much work and too professional to tell that to me that in the morning when I filled it , so I could have gotten it elsewhere. I mean it is a monthly prescription. I now have to wait 5 days after my doctor appointment to fill my meds because they have been out that many time and made me wait an extra day and go without my meds 5 times in 13 months. read more

The older male who is the pharmacist is extremely unprofessional. I was asking him some questions on a certain medication and he continued to be very snarky and short tempered with me. So I hung up and had them transfer my prescription somewhere else. -- I understand they get busy, but when people have questions on a newly ordered medication they should be willing to give a few minutes to go over the medication, especially if ITS NEW. read more

We got to pharmacy drive through line at 110p and waited 20 minutes and at 130 they shut the door it took 20 minutes to get through 2 cars and the person who was doing the drive through put down the gate not explaining anything rudely I understand they need lunch but he could have spoken to us and said something I'm done with this place! read more

I used the location on Kentucky Street for years and never had any issues. Unfortunately, that location has closed and I was forced to go elsewhere. My insurance only pays if I use CVS. The service I've received from the Lovers Lane and 31W bypass has been beyond frustrating. I am in shock of the lack of professionalism and lack of knowledge from the pharmacists. It's actually quite scary to put trust into these incompetent individuals when it comes to my medication. If it wasn't for the fact that I had to use CVS I would go elsewhere. You can't get anybody on the phone, you always have to leave a voicemail and it's a crapshoot if you get a call back. Just absolute rude and incompetent staff at both locations. read more

CVS in Bowling Green Ky on the bypass is a joke!! The people there are rude! They are slow! They either don't have the training or just don't care! We have waited endless hours for medications after getting texts that the meds are ready for them to say it's been put back on the shelf!! I had complained to corporate and then they made a change after waiting an hour in line you have to drive around get back in line after giving your info to be able to get your meds. When I stated ok I already waited once in this long line now it's wrapped all around the building and you want me to get back in line. She informed me if I didn't then I WOULD NOT GET MY MEDICINE. Wait isn't that AGAINST THE LAW? Your going to hold my meds up? This place is not even a joke. I give it ZERO STARS with rude employees and incompetent people working in the pharmacy! I have one prescription I need refiled every month. I confirmed through text I needed a refill a few days ago. Never got confirmation, so today I checked the website to see if it was ready. It was not, so I called. The automated phone system told me I had two prescriptions that needed doctor approval. "Sorry, we're having trouble finding" anything, really. I finally get put through to the pharmacy as someone coughs loudly in to the phone and hangs up. This or something similar happens every time I try to get my medicine. read more

Neglectful! And rude! My very sick mother in law waited over a hour for her medication in the "pharmacy lobby" to get her prescription filled. Once it hit closing time they just stopped filling prescriptions and basically said you're out of luck come back tomorrow. This pharmacy is a hour away from her house and she is going home tonight with no medication. So very neglectful and rude. read more

I really really tried to be patient with CVS (31W By-Pass, BG, Ky) but can't anymore. My monthly visits the past 6 months have not only changed, but gotten worse. I travel frequently to Fla & LA (monthly) as use CVS in several cities in both states, and NONE are like this unorganized, unaccountable pharmacy. Heard ALL of the excuses, COVID, staffing, yada yada yada. Today I needed to pick by 3 and catch a flight at Nashville. Started calling at 1:30 to check (CVS App was down again). I called at 1:44, was on hold for 1 hour and 27 minutes.... finally drove over, the drive thru was closed. Went inside-line had 26 people in it at 3:45 pm...talked to the store manager, she stated she had NO AUTHORITY over the pharmacy. I am without my meds for 48 plus hours. Cancelled my flight...will try again tomorrow morning. I used CVS because of national convenience, they haven't been convenient for over a year now. As soon as this prescription is filled I'm done with CVS...forever. read more

I'm normally a CVS fan. However, on my most recent visit to the pharmacy drive-thru, my purpose was to refill a prescription that I've managed for fifteen years. They claimed it was too early and refused to fill it for two more days, which would actually make it 31 days if counting the day it was filled. For fifteen years, in THREE states, I've known what the parameters are and what my current insurance would allow, yet pharmacists seem to want to patronize me in their explanation regarding this particular med. I showed this pharmacist that I indeed had three doses left (which was actually an extra dose!) but that I needed to get it filled before a busy two day schedule that was following. I also explained that there has always been an approximate two day buffer in the past in the refills -- even at CVS. I would just like CVS to know that I left their pharmacy that day and drove directly to Walgreen's, who filled the same script THAT SAME DAY. I have, in the past, used CVS some months and Walgreen's other months. That has now changed. read more

Today, I was stolen from. On August 7th, I shopped for the first time, for things other than my prescription needs, at CVS. Unsure of the rewards policy, I inquired of a young lady, Kelly, if I needed a card to receive benefits and extrabucks. She looked up my account, which was non-existent, and told me I would not need one to receive the rewards. This is where I failed because I trusted a CVS employee rather than looking up the policy for myself. I purchased diapers and received a $10 extrabucks reward. Kelly handed me my receipt and told me I could use it next time to get the benefit. I left happy and certain that my experience was good. It turned out that it wasn't. Today, I returned and asked the store manager, Ricky Sammons, how to properly use my rewards. He replied that I would need my card. I replied that I did not have one. He told me I must be mistaken because I had used the card for my purchase, the card number was at the bottom. I repeated that I had used no card, owned no card, and had not been given a card at the time of my purchase. After several attempts to explain in different terminology that I had not been given a card nor did I own one and had even been told I did not need one, he simply stated that he was sorry and that sometimes "people find receipts in the parking lot and try to use them to steal other people's rewards." The insinuation that I was a thief trying to steal other's rewards was evident. I pointed out that the last four of the debit card used matched the last four of my husband's debit card, which I had used at the time of purchase. I pointed out that there was a Colgate benefit earned as well and I had never purchased a Colgate product at CVS. There is also a CVS 1st Aid reward that is partially earned, also products I have never purchased. I'm no Sherlock Holmes but I believe the answer to this is clear. A card, either being kept behind the counter or owned by an employee is being used on new and uncertain customers. Since I did not have an account, it was pretty clear that I wasn't savvy on the policy for ExtraBucks. This card is being scanned, rewards being earned for products purchased by CUSTOMERS, and the benefits being reaped by whoever owns this card. This is theft. This is outright THEFT. My family is single income. I thoroughly hunt for the best deals for essentials such as diapers to make my husband's hard earned dollars stretch so we can raise our son without daycare or sitters. Our money isn't to be used by a thief so they can reward their own cunning and deviousness. Customers, both loyal patrons and new shoppers, be wary of making purchases from CVS. At least three people are being stolen from by this unknown person, it wouldn't be a hard scam for a cashier or other employee to pull on others. I have contacted CVS customer relations and hope to have this settled soon. If they show outstanding customer service and remedy this issue in a satisfactory manner, I'll update. Until then, I remain chagrined, disappointed, and cheated. read more

I used to be a customer until they kept lying, telling me it's the manufacturer's fault cause they didn't have my medicine. I transferred my ímeds to Riverside Pharmacy, CVS told them they sent all my meds. well they lied again. They didn't send half I've called several times today 10/11/2019 to get no answer after waiting on the phone up to 45 mins, 35 mins. Call & they would hang up on me I want my med from these jerk's they are disrespectful. That's no way to run a k on 6 or more times is nothing but childish. I will call back tomorrow & I want all of my 0pmedicine transfered to Riverside Pharmacy I don't have time for childish games. I can see why they have the reviews they have & with 1 to 3 stars omg.
