Walgreens is ALWAYS a hot mess. Why two stars then? ....because they develop 2x3 prints and CVS does not. Fun fact, Amazon also does 2x3 prints if you can be patient for delivery. The 2x3 prints were submitted online for in store pickup. Onto the pickup experience -- front register directed me to the once-happening Walgreens Photo counter where NO EMPLOYEE attended for 15 minutes. Another customer and I grew impatient and we both went behind the counter to retrieve the photos ourselves. This finally got staff's attention and it took another 5 minutes for them to find both of our photos. The only reason one should go to Walgreens is if they have to for 2x3 prints or if this is your pharmacy for reasons beyond choice. Otherwise, don't. read more

So I have visited this location a few times and the first time that I visited, the cashier acted like he was ready to go home. The second time another cashier was super friendly and super helpful and the third time I ran across the cashier from the first visit and he was very friendly this time . I have come to this location twice so far . I've visited the pharmacy and I was in and out, and the second time I visited the photo section, and again I was in and out. I was in the 24-hour pharmacy at Walgreens West Boca on 441 one morning about 6:30 to pick up a prescription and there was nobody there so I called and this guy came out from around the corner in about 3 minutes and asking for I'd like to pick you up I'm not a pharmacy I can't do that my question is I said 24 hours why don't they help the customers that's pretty sad it's not customer service then he ran back in the back and head unacceptable from your company read more

Pharmacy. Pharmacy..pharmacy. The worst of the worst . On hold for over 50 min while standing there watching them do nothing! I have a prescription clearly states 1 refill and they will not refill it until they split to the doctor . Called doc and the nurse had said this crazy . They said unfortunately the doctor will not be in until the following day . Called office they said they said there was no problem they okayed it . Waited for Walgreens that no call . This review is specifically for the pharmacy. 0 stars if I could!! I have been seeing the decline on the service every time I go. The people they have employed leave a lot to be desired. The line on the drive through is always long and slow, same as the line inside. Staff just seem unmotivated and disinterested in the customers. The people attending the drive through can be heard yelling and not showing any patience. I kept going here because it's convenient, but convenience is not always better. On Monday Feb. 5th, I just had the worst experience and just have had enough. I have changed to another pharmacy but want to warn everyone, and Walgreens, about this horrible customer service. On the date I mentioned above (stated hoping the pharmacy takes action), I went inside to pick up my prescription. I had been called saying they were ready. After 15mins in line, only one person in front of me I was told I had to wait because they couldn't find it. The lady who told me this said she would call me shortly that she was going to get it ready at that moment. I can see her in the back, on the phone, looking at the computer, talking to other staff... the line now keeps getting longer. Half an hour later, still nothing. She is still back there. I talk to another staff member, asking someone in line if I could cut in quickly. He acted as if he didn't know anything. I called the lady, who walked by me as if nothing. She said "It just has to be prepared". Told her it had been now 45 minutes since I had been in the store, and she just walked away. The guy who I talked to said he would personally take care of it. But literally 2 minutes later went to another staff member and told her "I'm going to lunch; can you take care of her?" and just left. The line kept getting longer, none of the staff working there bothered to come and try to make the line move faster and I could hear the drive through person just being disgustingly short with everyone. I am really appalled by the people working in this pharmacy, and as I told them when I called to complain to their customer service department, it was the worst and most disgusting experience. read more

Absolute disaster! I'm disgusted by their unprofessionalism, and poor customer service. Next time, I might as well pick another pharmacy and do mail in order. No wonder Walgreens is going down. This is a fantastic 24 hour pharmacy. They were able to trouble shoot my insulin pen problem over the phone. The Pharmacist walked me through it on a Sunday night, when all other Walgren pharmacies were closed. She was very courteous and helpful. The other staff were outstanding in talking with me on the phone, and the pharmacist on 10-5-25 was very kind. Helped me get my insulin on time! I spent 90 minutes on hold without receiving an answer. My doctor left my prescription on the message service ten hours before I called, but when I arrived at the store, the staff had no knowledge of it. The pharmacy technician mentioned that they hadn't had a chance to check the messages in the last ten hours. I highly recommend sending your prescription to Publix or any other pharmacy instead of this Walgreens. read more

Negative 100 stars if possible. The staff have no empathy for the patients. We understand you are overworked and understaffed but the attitudes that come from here. To tell a doctor that their patients can not have a medication at the specifications the doctor wanted because the patient doesn't have cancer is ridiculous. You are not the doctor, you have not even spoken to the patient or seen their records. You have no clue what that person lives through. And oddly enough the patient was dealing with a cancer situation. This place will fill your rx at 3p and when you show up at 4p theyve already lost it. This pharmacy location has HORRIBLE customer service! They give you false times as to when your prescriptions will be filled so you have to go back numerous times. It takes hours and hours to get anything filled. I have never written a yelp review in my life until right now. So frustrating! this pharmacy 24 hrs on state road7 and rout 441 in Boca is horrible. They change pharmacists and head Pharmacist all the time and they change the way they treat the patient and it's all due to the Head pharmacist who tells the other pharmacists how to dispense medication and when not to. or they will get fired. if you have a choice stay away. they should close that pharmacy and open a 24 hr Walgreens with a new Head pharmacist that treats patients and dispenses prescribed medications like other Walgreens. This is a typical Walgreens with lots of items. There's rows of over the counter medicines. If you have a cold, need a cane, or need diet aids you'll probably find it at this Walgreens. There's a few rows of groceries. Cereal, soda, ice cream, candy, and more. They also have pet food and pet toys. If you need shampoo, make up, tooth paste. and more. You'll probably find it there. Every Sunday I check the Walgreens ad in the newspaper to look at their sales. They take coupons. To me the most important thing about this Walgreens is that they're open 24 hours every day. The Pharmacy is open 2 am to 1:30 am every day. ( The pharmacy hours seem odd, but I took them off of their web page.) I guess that means the pharmacy closes between 1:30 am to 2 am. The location is convenient, plenty of parking. However, the pharmacy is terrible. It takes 20-30 mins at drive-through. They rarely answer calls, when they do, they immediately put you on hold. Walgreens is a very good drugstore. They are very different than CVS, their biggest competitor. The photo department at Walgreens is very large with an amazing array of photo services. Walgreens still sells cigarettes. I don't smoke and never have, but I feel it is a person's right to buy cigarettes if that's what they choose to do. I feel it is a personal freedom issue and I admire Walgreens for continuing to provide tobacco products for their customers. Walgreens has a nicely run pharmacy. They have great weekly sales on everything from bottled water to candy and soda and cosmetics. It's a great place to shop and they are open very late at night for their customers convenience. read more

I made an appointment for a Covid test at 10:30 in the morning. The website says the rapid tests take two hours. Here it is almost 5 o'clock and no results. I called at 3:00 pm and was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I hung up and drove over there. They told me the results were in but the emails take a while to send out so I should have it before the end of the day. So, for a rapid Covid test this Walgreens has me waiting more than 6 1/2 hours for the results and I still don't have the results. read more

The pharmacy is horrible, disorganized and likely short staffed or staffed with incompetent people. I called to check the status of my son's prescription and was told it would be about one hour, which was totally fine with me. No word from them 2 1/2 hours later so drove over and they have absolutely no record of the prescription which I find interesting since the person I spoke with on the phone acknowledged receiving it. This leads me to believe they lost the prescription. I was told to have my provider call it in, opposed to sending it in electronically which leads me to believe they are not well versed in receiving electronic correspondence. Just an aside, I was only one car back in the drive-thru thinking the wait would not be too terrible. This Walgreens has one of the nicest staff who care about their customers health; they were masks and gloves at the pharmacy and masks throughout he store. Most Unprofessional pharmacy that I have ever dealt with.. I have been having troubles with one of my medications which is a controlled substance.. it is a complex situation and I spoke with one of the pharmacy techs about this problem and she just hung up on me, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I tried to call again and she just hung up on me as soon as she recognized my voice. Besides this specific issue, every other time that I try to pick up a prescription there always seems to have a problem, specially with miscommunication amongst their staff. This store is always solid, but the pharmacy takes the prize. I live off Yamato road and this store is out of my way but it's worth the drive. I am so happy that as of 1/1/19, my insurance company is leaving Walgreen's! The ONLY reason we used this Walgreen's was because of the convenience of the drive through. It's certainly not for their customer service. It's really hit or miss here, mostly miss! I'm not going to start bullet pointing or laundry listing every issue. But to broad-stroke it. The people working the pharmacy are inconsistent. There are very few who will do what they can to help, while most shrug their responsibilities and make it your problem and not a solution. Depending on who you speak to, on more than one occasion, I've gotten multiple different stories. In the end, someone always calls somebody else a liar. There was even an instance in the past where I felt something was wrong with picking up a narcotic. When I got home, I counted and found it to be short. I did call in the complaint, they did audit the pharmacy and made it right. However, I saw no change in the staff there. Recently it seems that things here have gotten worse there. More lies, more covering up more nonsense. I called corporate again and now I'm waiting for a call back. Something really needs to change at this Walgreen's. I'm done here, but when I go, all I ever hear on line is other people complaining, mostly elderly people who usually don't Yelp. When I called first they said my insurance didnt cover it then he said now it did but it will take an hour and a half. When i show up by the time he told me then i was told it was an over the counter medicine, then to be told they do not have it that they are out of it. The worst experience ever.
