They kept my doctor on hold for SEVENTEEN minutes. Who ever heard of a Walgreen's employee keeping a medical doctor on hold like that! I had to call her, and rectify the issue. The pharmacist, Michael, is an arrogant prick who couldn't be bothered to answer her call, or provide me with decent customer service. When they close thousands of stores this year, I hope that they replace him with someone better from a closed store! read more

This is the closest pharmacy to Highland Beach and much of beachside Boca and the convenience is as good as the staff but it wasn't always that way. Several years ago this Walgreen's - at least the pharmacy was hell with the plus sized pharmacy assistant (manager perhaps) lacking in basic customer skills. Thankfully he's long gone and the current staff is great and I suppose this can be part of a managerial shift. Prescriptions are ready on time, lines move quickly and the employees are friendly and helpful and this applies to the whole store. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever had the displeasure of dealing. This is the worst Walgreens EVER. They could literally cost someone their life. I called early this morning, they told me they would have it ready by the afternoon. I called prior to getting there to ensure it was filled, They don't answer the phone, I waited on hold for 30 minutes, showed up to the pharmacy at 8:50pm, they told me they were closed. (They close at 9) I had to leave work early to pick up this medication because I could be hospitalized without it. Low and behold they wouldn't help me and told me it wasn't ready for pickup either. I begged them to please help me. It's a standard medication that the entire bottle is the quantity to be filled so they would just need to have the pharmacist grab the bottle and verify it. I am not the one to expect more than the average but the customer service alone is atrocious. I asked them to please leave a note in the system if they can have it ready for tomorrow to pick up, no.... Instead they put a cardboard sign in front of my face that said closed. Wow. Re Pharmacy... The pharmacist I dealt with twice was arrogant and rude. I understand that there may be more than one pharmacist but it was enough to yank my business and go to Publix. I don't want to spend time being annoyed and spoken to like I'm a child. Always on hold for at least 20 minutes, they're very rude prescriptions are never ready on time.I have a one year old and the doctor said he had to start his medication TODAY. This Walgreens has the worst service ever I waited on the phone for 35 minutes and then was hung up on twice. I drove over just to see for myself and no one was in line. Jennifer the pharmacist was rude and states they are busy and there was no one in the place. Jessica should not be working as a pharmacist or anywhere that has to deal with the public. Jessica was extremely rude and just walked away not caring at all. Juan Escobar the manager was right there and stated it's hard to get good help. Jessica stated that the Walgreens was understaffed, although there was no one there as I was still on the phone. She also stated if I'm not happy I should find another place to do my business. The main point of this post is that I highly suggest not using this locations photo service at ALL. I put my online order in right before I clocked in at about 8:50am. I work nearly across the street so I figured picking up on the way home would be efficient. That was so far from the case. At 9:35am I received an email that my photos were ready for pick up. After work I walked in at about 5:10pm. I picked up a couple of items and got in line at about 5:15. There were three people ahead of me in line with one cashier. No worries, it is after all rush hour. Once about three people lined up behind me, the cashier Damaris asked another employee, Scott, to help her get the line down. Scott was unloading a cart in the aisle immediately next to the registers and told her "I can't call Juan". And walked away with a plethora of people in line. Sheesh lol. A lady in front of me was also picking up photos and Damaris was not trained to allocate her order. This is when she called the manager Juan. Damaris was trying to assist in a difficult return and nothing was moving. Juan came and not knowing the circumstance, went directly to the return. Damaris checked out my other items but informed me I would have to wait for Juan. Juan then called enthusiastic Scott to get the line down and sure enough, he was able to use the register! The woman waiting for photos ahead of me asked Scott if he could find her photos in which he said "No, he will help you" and pointed to Juan. This woman, obviously waiting longer than me and the return said "Yeah but, he skipped me can you help?". Scott looked at her, turned his face and said "Next in line!". Thus far we have three customers holding up a line because only one person could assist them. The return was done and Juan assisted the woman with her photo order. Despite being emailed about her order being ready, they were not printed at all. After a few minutes, her order was completed. Upon looking for my order, my order was not printed as well. Even though I put the order in at 8:50 in the morning and was emailed about their completion at 9:35am? The entire experience was disappointing and failed in so many respects. Damaris and Juan kept on apologizing for the wait and I appreciated that. However, how efficient is a service if only one person in the entire store can operate it? Why did Walgreens send me an email regarding photo completion if that was not the case? Never again! read more

HORRIBLE attention at the pharmacy. I made an appointment at 6:30 pm because I work and is the only time I could get the vaccine, I rushed there from work and when I get there they tell me THEY RAN OUT. I said that's messed up because you should make sure you have one for each person that has an appointment l. He looked at me and didn't even say sorry, everyone else in the back saying "oh just come tomorrow before 5" like if all of us can just take off because of their negligence. Worst pharmacy anywhere. You've been warned. They are going to kill someone. They have given me the wrong prescriptions and tried to cover it up; shorted me on one medication - giving me 38 tablets on a 90 day prescription. Will hang up on you if you are actually able to get someone on the line after holding for over 30 minutes. It's exhausting. If your prescriptions are there, it's hell transferring them. Every employee there needs to be fired. Even a letter to Walgreens CEO in Illinois did nothing. They don't care. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!! Put in our prescription on Monday, and the lady could not inform us of the price but told us to come back Tuesday around 11. We come back Tuesday, then she wants to inform us that they didn't even have it in stock to come back Wednesday. We come back Wednesday what do they tell us? ITS NOT READY. We come back Thursday (today) and we get told it's not ready to come back at 7 that night. We come back and wait in line for 20 min, and the system MAGICALLY fails so we leave and see the lady behind us come out with her prescription. At this point, it's the same lady we have been dealing with since Monday and she's so rude towards me! Keep in mind I want my prescription because it is for my fur baby that just had surgery and needs his pain pills! At this point I'm completely livid that the system magically fails, yet we're purchasing other stuff at the counter and the lady behind us walks out with her prescription so I am confused as to why I couldn't get mine. At this day and age, I'm not sure if it's because of my skin color or what that I'm getting eye rolls and complete rudeness from the pharmacy lady!! A gentlemen that was behind me in line at the pharmacy tells me while we are chasing out that "this Walgreens is absolutely horrible! I can't get anything and the service is awful. The pharmacy mixed up my negative Covid test with a person who was Covid positive. I had to cancel a planned trip out of the country, as well as two airlines and lost my hotel reservation. I went back to Walgreens to speak to the manager about the error and he has not followed up with me or taken any responsibility for this error. Not sure why the pharmacists are so nasty and cold every time I come to this location, but I'm just about ready to change my pharmacy. 24 hrs is always a plus. I love their rewards program. My hair dye is usually on sale so I tend to stop by frequently. Also they have their store brand toilet paper that is....I swear....the best toilet paper out there. Friendly staff and they work hard to keep the lines low. read more

Don't expect to get the pharmacy to answer the phone! I have a medication that for some inept reason they can't order enough of (even though I get it EVERY MONTH) and requires me to either stop in or call in. If I call it is an average hold time of 45 minutes (where nobody politely asks you to hold) or you go in person and wait 30 minutes. The staff at the registers have no common sense or compassion and most of the time look pissed to be there! I had an incident happen last week where I desperately needed my medication, they told me it was filled... I went there and they said they put it back... 2 minutes later they said it was too early for insurance to pay (yeah, because you just filled it and put it back!)... anyway my doctor got involved and even he couldn't get them to straighten it out. I've given this pharmacy a couple of years to get it straight. This is my last month... on to CVS!!! read more
