It's been basically the staff that have kept this business going because they have all been nothing less than great. It hasn't had a soda fountain for at least 8 years after his wife decided she didn't want to work anymore, It's very important to know that TJ refuses to honor any drug manufacturers discount programs and when I had registered for about 8 or 9 of my prescriptions with these programs, one day, after supporting him for many years with up to 15 prescriptions monthly, he cowardly (wrote on the back of a receipt) advised me that he thought it would be better if I changed to a national pharmacy because he had lost too many prescriptions as a result of the discount programs. I couldn't believe his arrogance of acting like a petulant child because he was filling less prescriptions especially in these times of excessive costly medications. He proved that he has no compassion whatsoever for his customers and not really very suprising since not even once over many years did he ever so much as greet me with a Good Morning, or even an acknowledgment of any kind. He's in his own little world and sadly, on multiple occasions I even witnessed him berating his own loyal staff. I support independent businesses because I've had many of them over my lifetime, but not everyone is deserving of the opportunity. TJ has no soda fountain, and barely a pharmacy. Sure, to his credit he owns the building and sleeps upstairs but walking in the store, the shelves are near empty, stocked with one or two items maximum of every product, which is an embarrasment, as it clearly looks like a dying business. It was quite common for him to be unable to acquire a prescription because he's lost his supplier more than once so now he has to settle on whoever he can get. and even with all of this, I was the loyal customer, all for nothing! If you want to be treated as a $$ sign, instead of a customer then this is a good choice of pharmacy. But for myself I'm happy to have taken his advice and moved onto a national pharmacy which is aboit 1/2 a mile from home instead fo the 18 mile round trip I used to make, only to support a local, ungrateful business owner!

The staff is incredible especially the manager, Chris. I'm here all the time before work. Usually its around 6ish which is early, but I have to be at work early & this is the only location near my office that is open this early. I showed up at my normal time this morning. Today is our Secret Santa in my office. I have a gift in my car but I was in desperate need of tissue paper and a Christmas bag. I didn't pick this up over the weekend because I knew this was one errand that can wait until Monday morning. This morning they weren't allowing customers in because their cash registers were down. I understand but I couldn't go to work without a Christmas bag. I asked for the manager, only because I know he knows who I am since I am there several times a week. Chris graciously allowed me to come inside and pick a bag and tissue paper. I offered to leave my credit card and I also offered to leave cash. I wasn't looking for anything for free. Chris insisted not to worry and he had it covered! I couldn't believe how much he helped me this morning. He went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed and I greatly appreciated his help. I called him once I arrived at work~just to let him know how much he helped me and how much I appreciated his help. In today's world, it is a breath of fresh air when someone goes above and beyond to make a customer happy. I will stop in tomorrow morning and settle up with him. This store has a great team and it's all due to the management. Honestly, Chris didn't have to do what he did, but because he went above and beyond, I will never forget how kind he was to me. He was my own personal Santa Claus!!! Now I can bag up my gift for my colleague and not be embarrassed because I didn't have a cheerful holiday bag. These employees work in an air conditioned building with a designated lunch break, yet they act like they are overworked and somehow allowed to be rude while giving terrible service. I am a truck driver. I work 70 hours a week unloading trucks in the heat. After those 70 hours I only get a 30 hour reset and I have already spent half of it in this parking lot going in and out listening to excuse after excuse. Meanwhile they are the ones who want a trophy for taking 4 days, 5 calls, and 4 visits just to count out 30 pills and put them in a bottle while talking down to you the whole time. I will add names once I get them. Sitting in the parking lot right now on day 4 of trying to get this script filled. UPDATE ONE: On my 4th visit, which was the 2nd time today, they told me it would be ready in 60 minutes. I waited 68 minutes in the parking lot. Went back in and it was still not ready. This time they said another 10 to 15 minutes. There was 1 person in line on my first visit today. Zero people the next two times. The phone was not even ringing. I have only seen 1 person go through the drive thru. The place is not busy at all yet here I am about to try for the 5th time.

But then you have these specific departments like pharmacy and photo where you need individualized assistance. So now I get it. I was working on a little project for my boss and I really have not printed photos in such a long time since everything is so digital. I uploaded my photos at 7:30 in the morning and was able to pick them up by 8 o'clock yesterday. I was in a huge rush to work I ran and picked him up and left. Marie made it so easy for me and she was extremely friendly and personable. I had such a good experience that I decided to print a couple more photos and grab some frames but I really needed some guidance on the best edits and sizes to make my photos look the best. Marie was there again this morning and it was almost as if she was waiting for me specifically. She provided guidance on color and clarity and assisted me in printing the best photos for my objective. Everything came out beautifully and I left feeling very grateful for Marie's assistance. Customer service is a huge quality and I am always pleased when somebody is very patient because I ask a lot of questions about pretty much everything from printing photos to ordering a sandwich. At this point, they are making too many mistakes, and the customers are the ones paying the price. Twice in the past three weeks, I received a text telling me my script was ready for pickup. I make the trip there, only to be told they can't find it. Their computer shows that it's ready, but they misplaced it, their words, not mine. What really frustrates me is that when I said I would wait while they looked, I was told they didn't have time to search, as they are busy, and the other waiting customers come first. I was told to come back the next day so they could remake it. So now I have to make another trip because they misplaced something they told me was ready. One mistake? I can understand. Twice in three weeks? That's totally unacceptable. The worst part is that they don't seem to care, as there's no sense of urgency, no real effort to find the prescription, and no apology that makes you feel like they actually understand the inconvenience they've caused. Walgreens, do better.
