I always think it's so strange for people to leave a review about a place like Walgreens where there's one on every corner and for the most part it is pretty uniform based on the neighborhood you are in. But then you have these specific departments like pharmacy and photo where you need individualized assistance. So now I get it. I was working on a little project for my boss and I really have not printed photos in such a long time since everything is so digital. I uploaded my photos at 7:30 in the morning and was able to pick them up by 8 o'clock yesterday. I was in a huge rush to work I ran and picked him up and left. Marie made it so easy for me and she was extremely friendly and personable. I had such a good experience that I decided to print a couple more photos and grab some frames but I really needed some guidance on the best edits and sizes to make my photos look the best. Marie was there again this morning and it was almost as if she was waiting for me specifically. She provided guidance on color and clarity and assisted me in printing the best photos for my objective. Everything came out beautifully and I left feeling very grateful for Marie's assistance. Customer service is a huge quality and I am always pleased when somebody is very patient because I ask a lot of questions about pretty much everything from printing photos to ordering a sandwich. This two star review is only for the pharmacy, not the store itself. The store is great. I understand that they are short-staffed, but this has gone way beyond simply being understaffed. At this point, they are making too many mistakes, and the customers are the ones paying the price. Twice in the past three weeks, I received a text telling me my script was ready for pickup. I make the trip there, only to be told they can't find it. Their computer shows that it's ready, but they misplaced it, their words, not mine. What really frustrates me is that when I said I would wait while they looked, I was told they didn't have time to search, as they are busy, and the other waiting customers come first. I was told to come back the next day so they could remake it. So now I have to make another trip because they misplaced something they told me was ready. One mistake? I can understand. Twice in three weeks? That's totally unacceptable. The worst part is that they don't seem to care, as there's no sense of urgency, no real effort to find the prescription, and no apology that makes you feel like they actually understand the inconvenience they've caused. I unfortunately had to the emergency room today so I my prescription was faxed to Store #5068 Walgreens Pharmacy at 10 S CONGRESS AVEDelray Beach, FL 33445 I drove there to pick it up and that's when the lies started. I asked the pharmacy tech was it ready and she said that they didn't have it at that location and 2 minutes later she asked me if I'd like to pay out of pocket but she forgot that she told me it was out of stock. The pharmacist told her that if I transferred all of my medications there they fill the one that they claimed was out of stock. What a scam. read more

Waiting 45 minutes to get a vaccine that I had an appointment for is not my idea of an enjoyable Saturday. Much less two different times! It's incredible how short staffed they are ... DURING A PANDEMIC! Not only is it inefficient and disrespectful for their customers, but ultimately reckless as crowds line up and are unable to maintain social distancing. Terrible experience. It is my objective to always provide unbiased and fair reviews. Walgreens offers wonderful products and services in convenient locations. Clearly some are better than others. This location's pharmacy is one of the worst I have visited. They were inefficient, slow, and clearly maintain a practice of misguiding customers of prescription processing times. For example: The pharmacy took over 4 hours to fill a simple common prescription. We inquired multiple times, and they repeatedly mislead us to believe it would be filled within an hour. Pharmacy never fails to provide terrible customer service. I needed my ADHD medication and for those of you who don't know (it's taken daily). I couldn't get to the store until right before closing because my doctor sent it in really late or else I wouldn't pull up to the pharmacy at 8:58 when they close at 9. There was two people working and only one customer in the store so I was ignored for almost 5 minutes. I originally was told I had to pay full price for my prescription (insurance didn't cover it) which is fine, but I had an RX coupon. They processed the coupon but it was never reflected on my Walgreens account. I didn't want to take any more if their time so I told them I would just pay the full amount and have Walgreens process the $80 difference. I didn't have my physical debit card on me and I always use express pay for this reason. I asked them to give me one minute to enter in my information. I PAID $350 for my prescription and handed her my phone to scan my express payment pass. She was trying to go back and fourth with me about it when I kept repeating that I don't care about the difference right now I need my script and I'll worry about the refund later. I HAD PROOF OF PAYMENT on my bank statement and the express pass, which doesn't process without the payment going though. She wouldn't give me my prescription which is absolutely mind blowing to me. I ended up leaving without my script and I am furious. I contacted the store and the employee that I talked to is the shift lead so she told me a manager will contact me first thing in the morning. Best believe I will be sitting outside at 8:50 AM to get my script when they open at 9AM because I needed it tonight. I cannot be taking my medication later than 8AM or I can't sleep. The staff always treats me like they have something better to do or don't want to be there. They have no consideration for their customers. I will be forwarding this message to corporate and I'll never go there again. Oh and if you go to this location make sure that you get there at least 30 minutes before close because anything after that they wont accomodate you. This is in regards to the Walgreens at Jog and Atlantic. I made an appointment online to get the updated Omicron vaccine, regular flu vaccine, and the pneumonia vaccine. Per CDC guidelines it is perfectly okay to combine these vaccines together. When I got to the window to register, I was told I could only get 2 vaccines at a time. Which is nonsense. It appears the pharmacist was making up the rules to HER liking. Given that I was able to make the appointment for all three with no warning that I could only get 2. I call BS on that pharmacist. Oh, and the pharmacy tech actually said: "Well you only have 2 arms". Say what??? They also asked for my vaccination card even though they have a complete record of my vaccines. Nowhere on their website did it say I'd need the card. I'm telling ya, the pharmacist was doing things strictly for her own convenience. Why would she be so obstructive to someone getting a vaccine? I later stopped at the Walmart Pharmacy and asked the pharmacist (yes, she actually came to the window and spoke to me. Weird, right (at least in comparison to Walgreens)? At Walmart, you can get all three together and no vaccination card was necessary. read more

Wow. I will start by saying my girlfriend got out of the hospital and I drove straight to Walgreens to fill her prescriptions. I walked in and went straight to the counter. The pharmacy technician saw me and said hello. 15 minutes later waiting with not one customer inline In Front of me, she made her way over. How can I help you? I need these 2 prescriptions filled. Walked in to pick up 2 prescriptions this afternoon. The young lady behind the pharmacy counter was rude and should not be in front of customers. Very rude and negative. My wife moved her prescriptions from there a couple weeks ago, because of how she was treated during a phone conversation. I left mine there. Please, spare yourself the headache and wasted hours that you will endure when dealing with the customer service at the pharmacy counter here. I was supposed to have my prescription Thursday and it's now Saturday and still don't have it. We have gone up to this location every single day and they have made us jump through hoops just to get it. And don't try to call this location either. You are wasting your time. I was on hold for over an hour then someone finally answered, didn't say anything but I could hear people in the background, and then just hung up. Just, hung up. My jaw was on the floor. I have tried to get prescriptions filled at this location and they have filled them incorrectly, filled them with the incorrect doctors name, and just not filled them from a confirmed internet order. I have called customer service and the regional office and no one returns calls. Absolutely terrible. read more
