Also , this same Walgreens has been unable to fill my Adderall prescription the past TWO months due to the medication "not being in stock ", "issues with how the prescription was written" etc. even though my MD and his nurse sent over multiple variations of the same prescriptions . The Walgreens pharmacist suggested that I tell my doctor to only call in items they have on hand ...WTF ?! Please avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They have been nothing but a headache for myself and my family . I am also going to personally encourage all of my local colleagues, clients and patients to avoid them as well .

Unfortunately, on this one particular day, I was notified by email that one of the prescriptions was ready for pick up. It turns out that the prescription was a generic, and I wasn't familiar with which drug it actually was. When I looked it up, it was the generic of Farxiga. I asked the pharmacist if the doctor recommended that my husband should take this? the price of the generic was $212. I am so happy I asked because they said that the Farxiga was out of stock and they were able to give me the generic. I asked "when will the original be back in stock?" they said the next day. I also asked how much was the Farxiga. They replied $98. It was not an emergency for me to pick up the generic and they did not ask me ahead of time what I wanted to do. They just put it in the bag and expected me to pay for it. I learned a very valuable lesson. I was able to stop it before I paid by asking the questions. I was very disappointed in CVS for taking advantage of me. It was over $100 difference. So my advice is to always ask when something isn't familiar, especially when it comes to drugs.

The CVS pharmacy on Clint Moore and Military is great!…read more The pharmacist is knowledgeable and readily available to address any concerns or questions and thep staff at the counter is consistently friendly and easy to work with. Whatever issues have come up over the years with either my doctor's office or a med, I found them very eager and quick to sort things out. The prescription pickup process is efficient and hassle-free, whether you walk in or use their super convenient drive-thru. They also have a Minute Clinic which my kids and I used a few times in a pinch. The care was good and the wait times were minimal. Like most drug stores these days they have a small grocery area with essentials as well as snacks and cold drinks. The prices are usually pretty high so I don't often buy things there, but if you need something quick and you're already picking up your meds, it could come in handy. Overall, CVS is a reliable pharmacy, clinic and minimart that provides the community with excellent services and convenience. Four stars from me.

Prescriptions are filled quickly, and they offer compounding services. The store is small but they carry basic items like tissues, soap and over the counter meds. Near the front of the store, they have a small assortment of cold soft drinks, and they also have some candy near the cash registers. Apex offers free local delivery. Unlike the chain drugstores, they actually answer the phone and they don't put you on hold. I highly recommend this pharmacy. Nice people, quick turnaround time and supporting a local business is important.
