I have been filling lots of prescriptions at CVS pharmacy since I moved here four years ago. My husband takes an abundance of drugs and they know me pretty well there. Unfortunately, on this one particular day, I was notified by email that one of the prescriptions was ready for pick up. It turns out that the prescription was a generic, and I wasn't familiar with which drug it actually was. When I looked it up, it was the generic of Farxiga. I asked the pharmacist if the doctor recommended that my husband should take this? the price of the generic was $212. I am so happy I asked because they said that the Farxiga was out of stock and they were able to give me the generic. I asked "when will the original be back in stock?" they said the next day. I also asked how much was the Farxiga. They replied $98. It was not an emergency for me to pick up the generic and they did not ask me ahead of time what I wanted to do. They just put it in the bag and expected me to pay for it. I learned a very valuable lesson. I was able to stop it before I paid by asking the questions. I was very disappointed in CVS for taking advantage of me. It was over $100 difference. So my advice is to always ask when something isn't familiar, especially when it comes to drugs. read more

I stopped in here to pick up a few things but left without making a purchase. I left and drove to another CVS because the few items I touched were covered in dirt and felt grimy. I didn't look around for long before I decided to do my shopping somewhere else. I'm happy I left because I wound up in a nicer & cleaner store. With a CVS practically on every corner, I don't see why I would return to this location. read more

I recently had an extremely serious surgery that has caused a lot of on-going pain. I did everything I have to do LEGALLY to renew the pain medication. In Florida doctors write pain prescriptions that are for a specific amount of days. However, even if the days the prescription are written for has past, the Pharmacist rejects my new prescription EVERY time by imposes his own opinion of when he thinks I should have it filled. The pharmacist is NOT my doctor and is actually inhibiting my recovery. I am forced to be without pain meds making my blood pressure rise to dangerous levels because of severe pain. If pharmacists are able to let their personal feeling interfere with doctors , the patient should be able to seek damages. Also if pharmacists are uncomfortable filling prescriptions, maybe this NOT the field they should be working. My doctor bases his decisions for my care on science NOT personal feelings. Pharmacists should not be able to EVER allow their personal feeling interfere in the care prescribed by the doctor. But CVS is guilty of intentionally interfering with my health care over and over again. They need to held accountable for this intentional interference. CVS is only concerned with CYA , NOT the care of the patient, and SHOULD BE ASHAMED of their of the Pharmacist who routinely impose their personal feeling and cause truly sick patients intentional insult to injury on a routine bases. Healthcare is designed to NOT be in the best interest of the patient. Pharmacist Benjamin just admitted to deny my Son's prescription due to saving pills for his friend that are on back order nationwide when he has more to filled both! He stated also that because i live in another city that is not Delray he wont filled. He does not let people talk! His Ego is bigger than the store it self! I believe I speak for the majority of our small community here in Delray that there are serious concerns with this establishment. Primarily pharmacy which I will not name names but have had many times tried to overcome their shortcomings of poor attitude, poor communication skills and lack of respect for their customers. We live in a highly concentrated senior and elderly area. Telephones ring and ring with no one to answer and even at the storefront. They are flippant and rude most times. In store computers they claim to be down 4 out of 5 times I've walked in due to the hand written sign they post and they change their hours of operation (out to lunch) appears to be half the day! I've been going to CVS for over 35 years and instead of higher standards it's worse than I've ever seen! They need a corporate overhaul-don't go here if you can help it. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have been to and that's saying a lot for CVS. No one answers the phone for the doctors' line and the staff I have dealt with are rude and do not care AT ALL. Today was the end. I had to sit on the floor because I was sick and they would not refill my prescription. No one had any care or empathy. My doctor had called it in and they were not checking voicemails. I could go on and on but just save yourself and stay away. read more

If I could leave negative reviews, I would. The pharmacy staff is so rude. They are always extremely busy which I understand but they enjoy speaking down to people, just because they can. They don't tell you how long you have to wait (ex: your prescription will be ready in ten minutes) but then scream at you when you ask if it's ready. They are completely backwards and need to work on customer service. read more

The worst absolute awful! I've never experience such horrible service! Jennifer in the pharmacy had no idea what she was doing when she gave me the PCR test. I had to talk to the manager Angela and explain that Jennifer was not communicating with me. They told me I could come back in and retake the test since they did not give me any correct instructions. I don't think I have ever been to a pharmacy that I left a review for. You would think all you do is just pick up your meds. However the pharmacist at this CVS was probably the rudest man I've met. Over and over he told me to try to find another pharmacy if I didn't want to wait for medicine. I don't care about waiting but order it first please. Why is this guy in healthcare when he doesn't even like people? Haha He hung up on me twice then didn't order my medication. To top it off after giving this place 3 chances(3 months) the pharmacist told the tech to tell me they ran out of my prescription for the year and they weren't aloud to order that medicine until the next year. Ummm what!? Please if you have a choice to choose a pharmacy do not go to this one. I have never dealt with anything like this in my life. If I could give this a negative rating I would. CVS at Atlantic and Jog. TERRIBLE. I ordered next-day prints. I went in to pick them up...machine was broken. I said - cancel the order, there was a time limit on the need (photo competition). FOUR WEEKS later I get an email "Your prints are ready". I go into the store, relate the cancellation and said "if you are just going to throw them in the trash, I'll take them." They told me I had to pay for them. I said no, and they literally threw them in the trash in front of me. CVS's normal "customer service." read more

Totally disorganized pharmacy pickup. One check out for a line completely down the isle. 45 mint to pick up a prescription for my father. If it was for me I would have left and transfer my prescriptions elsewhere. I recommend you do just that! read more

I really don't like reviewing generic stores, i.e. - Walmarts, Targets, Duane Reade, CVS included. Basically it depends on the day you are there and the employee's moods. It is important to write a negative review if the place is unacceptable or fabulous... CVS hardly ever gives me a problem. When I moved down here we just transferred everything and I love that they gave me no issues about insurance, etc. I like CVS because the pharmacists will always help you - even if you ask - what is better for a headache, morphine or percoset? Yeah, little things like that. It is hardly in a disarray, and I have been using them consistently. The drive-up window def works!!! read more

They need to train their pharmacist to pronounce the medications correctly. We went to the drive through to pick up a prescription for my grandma and the woman kept saying "the medicine" we finally asked her what was the name of the medication and she literally said "I don't know how to pronounce it, it's a long name". My grandma and I looked at each other stunned that this pharmacist just said that. She then proceeded to write the name of the medication on a piece of paper and gave it to us to read it was cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxer. I really think they should train their employees on how to pronounce medications correctly, because this made her look extremely incompetent and it was concerning that a drug store employee was hired and not trained correctly. Won't be back here and I will move my grandmas prescriptions elsewhere. read more

The absolute WORST customer service at the pharmacy area. Rude and not helpful at all.

I would like to give Kudos to the staff of CVS on Atlantic Ave. They work very hard to help with all the concerns and needs as customers approach the drive-thru as well as the counter. They show empathy with the many varied customers'questions and follow through with their needs. They ask if you had the shots like the flu and etc. As well as follow the guidelines in COVID in these trying times. A round of applause to all! read more

I just called to ask a simple question and a woman answers a phone in the pharmacy hello?! Like no greeting? Like am I an inconvenience to you? I asked her if she could hear me.. she of course rudely said yes. I was asking her my question she screams mid way I can't hear you.. but of course when I ask her why she's being so rude she can hear me perfectly fine. This is just an interaction from today it doesn't include when my grandmother died and the pharmacist gave me a hard time about putting a rush on my meds because I had an emergency flight out of town at 5:00am the next day. I just don't understand why customer service isn't important to you all. I'm going to move my scripts I don't want to be treated like I'm a problem just because im filing my meds. The store if fine, but the pharmacy is maybe the worst I've ever used. The wait is absurd- don't call- you call won't be answered. Very understaffed. Got a prescription filled and was given 2x amount of pills than requested. Check everything they do. It's an attitude of folks who accept that they are understaffed and treat u like there are no other choices. read more
