I like this specific location. Maybe because I have been shopping here for so many years, I am just very comfortable with the layout and the staff. The cashiers are nice, and the people working on the floor have always been helpful. The pharmacy is very slow, more so than other stores I have shopped in, so I don't fill my prescriptions here. This pharmacy is a complete and utter joke ! If you are terminally ill , you could very likely DIE before they even bother filling your valid prescriptions.My spouse has stage four cancer and Walgreens is REFUSING to fill his emergency medication prescriptions , which were ALL personally called in by Dr. Mica E. Glaun (Medical Director /Surgical Oncologist at Boca Regional ) . When we called and inquired about transferring the prescriptions to a nearby 24 hour pharmacy-we were told that new prescriptions would be needed even though all four prescriptions were sent over today and yesterday. Also , this same Walgreens has been unable to fill my Adderall prescription the past TWO months due to the medication "not being in stock ", "issues with how the prescription was written" etc. even though my MD and his nurse sent over multiple variations of the same prescriptions . The Walgreens pharmacist suggested that I tell my doctor to only call in items they have on hand ...WTF ?! Please avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They have been nothing but a headache for myself and my family . I am also going to personally encourage all of my local colleagues, clients and patients to avoid them as well . read more

Walgreens is a great place to shop. They are way more than just a pharmacy. They have a huge cosmetics department. On every holiday, a large couple of aisles are devoted to the holiday items for sale. After the holiday, everything is discounted more and more the further away from the holiday you get. Sometimes things are up to 90% off! Walgreens also sells wine and beer. I'm not a smoker, but unlike CVS, they still sell cigarettes and tobacco products. I feel it's everyone's right to buy cigarettes if they choose to. Walgreens has a weekly sales flyer with fantastic deals on various popular items. They are open quite late at night if you need something. They also have a terrific pharmacy with a friendly staff. I'm so glad that Walgreens is conveniently located almost everywhere around town! read more

Highlight: I usually don't hand out 1 star reviews, but this one definitely compelled me to write this one. We went to the clinic today to get empiric treatment for my sister who was boarding a cruise. It was Sunday and thus only EDs and Urgent Care centers were open. Her problem really didn't require much- symptomatic patient and an antibiotic and that's it. I chose this location b/c I am a U Health Med student and had faith that my establishment would take good care of my sister. I was embarrassed and very disappointed with the treatment and encounter today. The ARNP was not only cold and rude, she was not happy answering my sister's questions. My sister was about to go a whole week on a cruise and had many concerns about her condition. I already knew what the diagnosis was and knew the treatment, but am not yet licensed to write out the prescriptions. My sister came out looking confused, sad, and disappointed that not only did the ARNP not seem to know her stuff, but also refused to treat her and recommended her to Urgent Care. My sister even asked about over the counter treatment and the ARNP didn't even seem to know what to tell her. When I received HIPPA to ask the ARNP where to go and what happened, I was snapped at and she became very defensive about my questioning. She made all kinds of snide remarks about how the treatment in FL was different from GA- in other words was trying to cover up for her rudeness and that GA was a... less rude place? I am not even sure what she was even trying to mean by this Walgreens not being like the ones in GA. My sister had had good experiences with the "Doc in the Boxes" back in Atlanta, she was very unhappy with this experience here. Poor patient encounter, poor empathy, poor knowledge of treatment, and very poor service. We even considered rescinding the co payment. I was honestly embarrassed that this was affiliated with my medical school. Not all Walgreens and Minute clinics have bad clinicians- but I've become cynical over the years on clinical rotations when parents bring in children who are misdiagnosed and then worsen or patients who come in b/c of the wrong dosage. Unfortunately, for my sister, she will likely never return to one of these Doc in the Boxes again, a title I learned and given to those who make a bad name for I am some really good ones out there, but have yet been found. I really do not recommend the clinic here. You're better off holding off for an appointment with your doctor the next day if you're not in acute pain, bleeding, severe discomfort. read more

This is absolutely the WORST Walgreens I have ever been to. I have been using Walgreens for over 30 years in different locations and happy until now. Slow, under staffed, and poor attitude. Wait time was 2 hours then came back and 45 more minutes! NEVER AGAIN!! With the amount of business and customers they have, especially since this location has a lot of older people, you would think they would have a decent amount of staff. In each and every other past location I used in the past, I became friends with of all the staff in and out of the pharmacy. To the point where I had to relocate to another state and came back to FL 5 years later, a staff member recognized me and gave me the biggest hug and asked about my family and my time away in NC! At this location, you're lucky if you can get anyone to smile at all! I take quite a bit of medication on a regular basis and don't need to deal with this aggravation. Yes, this store is very convenient with their hours and location but it's not worth saving a ciuoke if minutes driving to a different pharmacy. read more

No lie- WORST customer service of my life! I highly recommend going to another Walgreens for any of your shopping needs. I go to Walgreens all over the state about once a month for work. We get hundreds of pictures printed each time. This month I had the pictures printed at this "24 Hour" Walgreens. I put the order in online around 11:00pm. The site said the order would be done at 3:20am. I even got an email saying the order had been processed. This is the same process I use every single month at the other Walgreens all over the state, so I had no reason to think this time would be different. I was so wrong. Before I left this morning to pick up the photos, around 7:45 am, I called to make sure the pictures were ready for pick up. When I called in no one was even in the photo department. I had to wait until they could have someone run over to see if my pictures were ready. The employee finally got back on the phone with me to let me know my 395 pictures hadn't even been started yet!! Um how is ready by 3:20 am the same as not starting until 7:45am ?? At my job we use the pictures in an activity with families and children. This activity happens in the morning, so having the pictures ready is time sensitive. I spoke with the manager on duty, Gian-Pierre, (over the phone) and he said the pictures would be done by 9am. I told him that would be an issue, and that I really needed them by 8:30am. He essentially told me they would be ready when they're ready. I should've known then that my experience with Gian-Pierre wouldn't be a good one. I drove over to the Walgreens at 8:50 hoping that my pictures would be done. Nope. Only 188 had printed... Out of 395! I couldn't believe it! I was speaking with 3 employees about how I was told 9 am over the phone and how the website said 3:20am. Unbeknownst to me, Gian-Pierre, the manager!, was one of those 3 employees. He didn't chime in at all to say "I was the one you spoke with" or anything like that. Instead he just let me stand there asking question after question about what was up and about what I was supposed to do. I noticed that he was was wearing a manager outfit so I flat out asked him if he was the one I spoke to. Once he admitted that he was that's when he decided that he would throw customer service out the door. This man never looked me in the eye. It was as if I wasn't worth his time of day. The majority of our conversation was spent with him looking down at some papers. I asked to speak with his manager- he said he wouldn't be able to help me with any kind of discount on my order even though it was hours late. He told me that his manager only comes in on Mondays so I couldn't speak with him. I called him on that and asked him to please let me speak with the store manager over the phone. Well that never happened. Instead Gian-Pierre rudely told me that we could get a 15% discount on our order. He also told me that the pictures would be ready when they were ready again, and that I could just sit and wait if I wanted. I don't think I've ever been spoken to this way as a customer at Walgreens. Very disappointing. I highly suggest Gian-Pierre undergo some sort of customer service training. In no way is he manager material. He is definitely giving Walgreens a bad look. read more

Ordered my prints online and my given pick up time was 1 hr after my order was submitted. Went to go pick up my prints and waited at the counter for about 15minutes before anyone even acknowledged a customer was standing there, and the only reason I was acknowledged was because I asked could I be helped. The lady asked me was this a pick up and my last name. Then she said I'm sorry they haven't been printed yet it'll be about 15 minutes. I said ok and sat to wait. Another costumer comes in and waits to be served, never got acknowledged, he waited about 15 minutes with me and said this is ridiculous and left. Sad to say I'm still sitting here waiting on my prints. Just received my prints and the quality of the pictures are awesome customer service was still bad though read more

I use this walgreens because it is convenient, but I will not be going back. I find the pharmacy staff to be useless. Apparently one of my medications is in short supply nationwide. So the pharmacist contacts my doctor to talk about a different medication, then fills the prescription and gives it to me without any notification to me about the change. REALLY??? They could have notified me so I could take my prescription elsewhere where they might have the meds. They could have notified me so I could be the one to discuss any changes with my physician. They could have notified me of a change and counseled me on possible side effects. They did none of the above and that reflects a pathetic lack of consideration for customers. I will be changing to a different pharmacy. This kind of service is absolutely unacceptable. read more

What can I say about this Walgreens? First, there company was very smart by getting the contract from Florida Blue over CVS and getting 26 million new customers that were now FORCED to fill there prescription at Walgreen's going forward. You would think that if Walgreens went from having its normal 18 million customers to 44 million customers overnight that they would hhmmmmm how should I word this.....oh I know......HIRE MORE PEOPLE?????? These morons did not hire any more people and are now wondering why are people upset that they have to wait 25 minutes at the drive up window to get a person (yes I am using this term very loosely) to service them. So now my Doctor calls in a prescription for me and I get a text message that it is ready. I go to this black hole of my time that sucks not only my time but also my cell signal as the roof of their drive up window has concrete and steel in the roof casing so there is literally no cell signal. You are sitting there twiddling your thumbs. (I recommend bringing a book or a crossword puzzle) Now there is a button a small yellow button that is strategically placed 8 inches further than you can reach. I am assuming that the builder measured this to make sure that no one could actually reach it. You have to climb half out of your car window to reach it. What I do is I bring my cane to reach the button. "aha" Now it will ring for generally 13-16 rings until a person with a copious and horrible nasty attitude snaps ands says "we will be with you shortly" and then hangs up in one fluid motion before you have a chance to say anything. On an average if there is no one waiting and you are the first car in line you will wait between 12-14 minutes. If there is one car in front of you then you will wait anywhere between 20-26 minutes. If there are 2 cars in front of you go home it is not worth it. So getting back to my prescription that my Doctor called in for me I get that text and go to pick it up and wait my appropriate 14 minutes to be told "we don't have a prescription here for you" oh I forgot to mention their intercom is broken it has been broken for over a year now and it would appear that with the 44 million people filling their prescriptions that they cannot afford to close the window to fix the intercom so you actually cannot hear the guy and are sitting in your car screaming at bullet proof glass in the hopes that the guy can read lips. Maybe if they didn't anger so many people they would need bulletproof glass? So on this fateful 14-minute loss of my time I am told that my prescription is not at this Walgreens but at another one and I have to go there to get it. I ask the tech if he can transfer the prescription from that Walgreens to this Walgreens and he grudgingly says yes as I guess making that phone call will most likely interfere with his other work duties and we wouldn't want that. So now 3 days pass by and I go back to get my prescription and I forget my cane climb out of my car window push that small little yellow button wait my appropriate 14 minutes and am told "no we don't have that prescription here it is at another Walgreens" It would appear that the tech was far too busy to get my prescription transferred over. But on this day I came prepared as I had my Sudoku book with me. I told the very pleasant (ok that was a lie) young lady that I was not going to move my vehicle until they filled my prescription. People were honking and screaming but you know what? I didn't care. Its time someone took a stand over this nasty, disgusting Walgreens who treats its customers like shit. They are rude, condescending, and understaffed and downright obnoxious. Maybe that is why they have bulletproof glass. If you can go anywhere else to get your prescriptions filled you should. I went last Saturday to the Walgreens walk in clinic because my throat and ear were hurting. I suspected I was coming down with strep. I went here because my doctor is not open on weekends. The PA did a strep test. She gave me a prescription of two doses of penicillin a day. My mother told me that dose was too low. Two days later the PA follow up by phone. I told her I developed the white patches and they went away but my throat was still bad. She told me give it time. Thursday I was in agony. I had to call the national number so they could have her call me back. The PA called me and told me I need to come back but I would have to pay again. I told her I shouldn't have to pay because either the meds are not working or the dose is too low. She said she did her job because the patches were gone. Seeing as it was Thursday I went to my regular doctor. He looked at my throat and felt my glands. He couldn't believe she gave me such a small dose of penicillin and didn't want to treat me again for not fixing the problem. He just shook his head and said she must be inexperienced. So basically I had to pay my doctor after paying her because she didn't help me. read more

First time here and they 1) didn't have the prescription the doc sent over 2) told me to wait "10 minutes", 40 minutes later in this empty pharmacy they are still telling me to wait until a manager clarified it might not be ready for a 2 days 3) The pharmacist (Lisa A) was super rude and explained to me it was "my fault" I didn't come to the counter when I was at the counter the whole time!!! I would give this a "0" star rating if I could. Save yourself a lot of aggravation by avoiding this Walgreens. They messed up the dosage on my daughters prescription and blamed it on he centralized phone network they use. The pharmacist was beyond rude on another occasion when I asked about drug interactions, like he couldn't be bothered. And another pharmacist told me over and over again how busy and overwhelmed she was since she was the only one there when my 3 year old's asthma medication took 4 hours to fill. THE WORST PHARMACY.
