Awful experience. My scheduled vaccine was swapped for a different one without notice--I only caught it while signing the consent form and declined. The store is in a mobile dead zone, yet there's no guest Wi-Fi, so I couldn't access my appointment or insurance info. To top it off, I got an automated "appointment reminder" call while the flu shot was literally in my arm. The girl who operated drive thru today around 3pm absolutely ruined my day. I sat in the line for at least 20 minutes and when I got to the window, she told me to hang on and I waited at least an additional 10 minutes. When she finally came back, she had an attitude and was rushing me like I was inconveniencing her. The sighing and plain out annoyance in her tone wasn't extremely shocking since this isn't the first time I've had this experience with the same girl. The first time, I assumed she was having a bad day and let it go. Apparently, this is just her naturally though. Then she slammed the tray where you pick up/drop off items open and closed. She's slow and unfriendly, I don't understand why she's working with people if she doesn't like people. Needless to say, I'm going to try and avoid this location (or at least the drive thru.) I've never had an issue with any of the other staff here but this isn't my first negative encounter with her specifically. Maybe they're understaffed and can't find people who can properly do this job or maybe she's new, I'm unsure. This is a review for the Minute Clinic which is located within this CVS. The Minute Clinic has been at this location for years and I have used it in the past for annual flu vaccinations. It has recently been expanded to include two exam rooms, and two staff. At the time of this writing, one staff member is an RN Nurse Practitioner, and the other is an LPN. The Minute Clinic is good for routine vaccinations and offers just about all of them. I and my husband were there for a pneumonia vaccination, after I realized I had not had one, or if I did, it was quite a number of years ago. There are now "stronger" and more effective pneumonia vaccines on the market and my internist recommended that I receive it. I made an appointment on line the day before, which is preferable to just walking in and adding your name to their appointment list at the kiosk. They offer several services such as routine blood work for cholesterol levels, and also conduct physicals which are needed for children for school. They also handle non emergency cases like colds, sore throats and simple sprains. The staff were efficient, followed appropriate safety protocols. My nurse, Michelle, thoroughly washed her hands before handling the vaccine vial and needle, after she had done all of her data entry on the computer. And of course, she was masked. Masks are required to enter CVS and if you should happen to arrive without one and have an appointment at the Minute Clinic, they will provide you with one. This location will be one which provides the COVID-19 vaccine once it is distributed to the states. They appear to be ready to handle the influx of new clients through the recent expansion of the square footage allocated to the clinic and the addition of another nursing staff employee. CVS Minute Clinic. Nenita and Shelly were wonderful! I visited once, about a month ago for my shingles vaccine and flu shot (Nenita) and another time because I was sick (Shelly). Both gals were very friendly, knowledgeable, relaxed, answered my questions and didn't rush me. (I should have written this review a month ago; after visiting Nenita. Better late than never!) We loved the CVS nearest us but they closed it. This pharmacy on 520 S Federal does not answer calls - must leave a message, and they may or may not get back to you. They are really backed up, and clearly do not have enough staff since 2 stores merged. They claimed this morning that a needed prescription would be ready today between 4 and 5. It is 8 Pm and still not ready. I called again, and have had no response. HORRIBLE! read more

I had the worst experience ever at the clinic. I was in pain for a teeth infection, I didn't have an appointment because the pain was just starting. The doctor didn't want to let me in until he was done with the patients that they had an apartment ( so I waited 2 hours with the pain) . My disappointment was also about people with no heart at all , nobody let me go in before them since I didn't have an appointment. I had to pickup some medications on Christmas Eve. The entire staff working at the pharmacy were so nice and patient trying to run my insurance. They do shut down for breaks so pay attention to the posted hours and signage. It was not a problem for me, but I did have to educate an irritated patron behind me. read more

This place is a nightmare to deal with. They never answer the phone (some prescriptions must be called in and I cannot use the automated system), they never manage to apply my manufacturers discount code correctly and the workers at the drive thru are often surly and unhelpful. By the time the pharmacist showed up to work (on this Thursday morning) a long line had already formed at the drive through and the inside counter. This is probably the worst CVS experience yet, they have almost no staff ever. For some reason the manager was checking people out at the self checkout line and after waiting 20 minutes, when I told him I needed help in photos, he said he'd be right there. Instead after he finished, he proceeded to go to the back. This is my go to CVS. I come here at least once a month to pick up my prescription and I never really have a problem with the service. The pharmacists usually recognize me and get my prescription pretty quickly. There's also a drive thru if you don't feel like making the trip inside. The line to purchase things does get long but they usually call for assistance before it gets crazy! I've never had a problem with the staff, they always help me out when I ask questions. As Cassidy C. said their selves aren't that full but even when they are it's CVS you can't expect to fully grocery shop here! All in all, this CVS is A-OK to me. read more

I went here for a rapid Covid test (negative, thank you) and waited on line at the drive thru as instructed. I get up to the window and there's a sign "Rapid Covid test is at the end of isle 10". Why do they tell you to waste your time on line only to be told to go in the store!! The tech was really nice and took care of me promptly, once I got the the head of that line. This is my home cvs and I will never come back here again after what I just went through. Pharmacy attendant "Fabian" or however you spell her name tried to run a quick scam on me. I went in to buy simple mucinex cold syrup and she said if I buy the cvs bran which is pretty much the same thing as we saw in the ingredients that I could sign up and get it basically for free and that if I buy cvs since I have a rewards already that I would get $10 extra bucks. So I agree and as I'm paying there are these "yes and no" agreements that she started just quickly clicking for me as I'm trying to read them! She's not even on her side of the register completely breaking COVID rules!!! Clicking on the credit card reader and All I see if $5 monthly so I ask her what's that about and she's like "oh you can cancel anytime" WELL YOU NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT THIS PART! Wow. She tried hard to run a scam and let me tell you I will never go back to this cvs as long as they have people like that working there. I told her to cancel. This CVS is decent. The shelves aren't as full as they should be, and there's always boxes or something sitting around. The pharmacy is usually pretty quick but when it's busy you will be there forever! The pharmacy does have a drive through which is a plus! The staff that I have met is very friendly. There's a young college student who works there and she's super nice. They don't have much options, like I said, the shelves aren't that full, so if you want something specific or if you're picky then I wouldn't recommend this CVS. For example, I went in to get a planner/agenda for school and my options were very limited. I wasn't too happy about that. Absolutely agree with the last review. I continue to come to this CVS because it is the closest to my house and has a drive thru. Perhaps I shouldn't be so lazy because this one is awful. There's at best a 50% chance that they will have your meds ready for you when they say they will. Sometimes they will tell you when to pick up our order and when you arrive they will simply say they don't have it. No call. No consideration of your time. Just a really poorly run pharmacy with almost no consideration or respect for the customer. That being said, because I'm lazy I'll still probably continue to go back. Absolutely horrible customer service on most occasions. Unfortunately due to convenience of location we've given into going back over and over again each time saying we won't. If you have other options take em. Pharmacy is consistently extremely rude. Then today, the pharmacist flat out refuses to any longer fill prescriptions that CVS has been filling for no less than 8 years because of what he calls his "personal option which requires no explanation"! Yet he makes it clear that it is due to his personal belief and opinion... As if he knows more than the specialist treating my neurological disorder for 15 years. I am now off my meds for two days including those designed to prevent seizures and cranial spasms. I may end up in the hospital by the time this is resolved. read more
