When she finally came back, she had an attitude and was rushing me like I was inconveniencing her. The sighing and plain out annoyance in her tone wasn't extremely shocking since this isn't the first time I've had this experience with the same girl. The first time, I assumed she was having a bad day and let it go. Apparently, this is just her naturally though. Then she slammed the tray where you pick up/drop off items open and closed. She's slow and unfriendly, I don't understand why she's working with people if she doesn't like people. Needless to say, I'm going to try and avoid this location (or at least the drive thru.) I've never had an issue with any of the other staff here but this isn't my first negative encounter with her specifically. Maybe they're understaffed and can't find people who can properly do this job or maybe she's new, I'm unsure. They actually answer the phone quickly--usually by the second ring--and you speak to a real person, not an automated system. That personal touch really sets them apart. While they don't have an app, they do offer text message alerts when your prescription is ready. It may feel a bit old school, but honestly, the human interaction more than makes up for it. I walked in on Thanksgiving around 1:30 PM after a two-hour drive, desperately needing a few items and a restroom. Both restrooms had signs saying to ask for a key, so I approached the gentleman up front... who apparently believed he was guarding Fort Knox. I asked nicely for the restroom key. He told me "Nope, it's broken," without even blinking--or standing up. The way he said it, you'd think I asked him to climb Mount Everest, not hand me a key hanging three feet away. The vibe was rude, dismissive, and honestly just bizarre. I left wondering if I had accidentally walked onto the set of a hidden-camera show. Since the situation felt off, I ventured to the back and found another associate who--brace yourself--was a functioning human being! She happily handed me the restroom key (miraculously, the "broken" restroom was working just fine) and even helped me check out. Meanwhile, the front associate remained committed to doing absolutely nothing. Not sure how he got hired for customer service when he clearly hates customers (and standing up), but CVS might want to look into that. On a holiday especially, kindness goes a long way. This guy? The Pharmacist on duty refused to speak with me in regards to Pricing and questions regarding the formula used for the compound . I had an inquiry on the wetting agent . Really poor business model . I come from a very strong pharmacy background which I can no longer work due to long COVID , I know my stuff and hold multiple certifications. Very poor business model ! Your loss Delray Pharmacy bc I was going to transfer my scripts (10+ monthly ) plus compound and transfer my parents over . Delray pharmacy could have had an increase in scripts by at least 30 monthly . Thousands of dollars could have been added to your monthly take . Your lesson for the day - Communication and coordination.

Of course when I arrived, the few things I wanted were out of stock, but I wandered around the scented candles area and I was very impressed with their choices of candle fragrances. I usually would not think of getting scented candles at a drugstore, but some of these had very unique smells. Just something to consider if you are every near a Walgreens and want to get a nice house gift for a friends.
