Clean, calming, no horribly harsh chemicals or fragrance smells. Other salons have given me headaches or reactions from the various scents and products, but I'm always safe at Bellacure! The experience started badly when I was shown to a foot spa that was still full of dirt and nail clippings from the previous customer. I had to wait while it was cleaned before my appointment could even begin. The salon itself appeared unclean. There were cotton buds, cotton wool, and other debris visible on the floor and in the corners. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, and throughout our visit none of the staff were welcoming or friendly. We were barely spoken to, and unlike many salons, there wasn't even a simple offer of a bottle of water. Another thing that stood out was the lack of proper equipment. Instead of using standard foam toe separators before applying the nail polish, the staff simply stuffed pieces of tissue paper between our toes. I've had many pedicures over the years and have never seen a salon do this. My granddaughter's pedicure was also smudged and had to be redone on one of her toes. The most upsetting part happened after we paid. The total came to $125 for two adult pedicures and one child's pedicure. As we were leaving, an older staff member came running outside shouting, "No tips? No tips?" in front of everyone in the salon. My daughter politely explained that we were unhappy with the service. Instead of listening, he became angry, shouted at us, and even used the F-word in front of our 9-year-old granddaughter. No customer should ever be treated that way. One more thing we noticed was a sign in the salon offering customers a $10 voucher in exchange for leaving a five-star Google review. That made us question how many of the glowing reviews genuinely reflect customers' experiences. We cannot recommend this salon. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, unprofessional practices, rude treatment, and the aggressive confrontation over tipping, this was one of the worst salon experiences we've ever had. We hope this review helps other people make an informed decision before spending their money here

The first time I went in a week ago, I got a mani/pedi and when I got home I wasn't in love with it (service was amazing, just the manicure wasn't quite right) I ended up speaking with the manager about my concerns of not being 100% satisfied and she told me to come in whenever and they would fix everything, free of charge, no problems. I was going to wait a little longer to go in to fix it but the paint started chipping and I didn't want to deal with it for a whole week so I ended up calling to see if they had availability last minute. They told me to come right down and took care of me right away. My nails look amazing and I left feeling beautiful. United Nails Plus has THE BEST STAFF, highly recommend. Side note: they play movies instead of TV so you don't get stuck watching some ridiculous reality TV show or some random channel that seems to only play infomercials. Super plus.

The salon is one of the CLEANEST I have ever stepped foot in. Karen is very meticulous when it comes to the presentation,cleanliness and relaxation in her salon. You know the minute you step in for a treatment, you will be pampered, relaxed and clean. I started going there for my facials, and hands down Karen is the BEST esthetician around! She is SO knowledgeable about skin that I trust her completely and would never get a facial by anyone else. She is that good. She also does my nails, Shellac, which I am so glad she tried it on me, I am so pleased with it. She knows what would work for her clients with troubled nails like me. I have been getting my hair done at Summer Falls for a few years now, when Amy came on board as the hairdresser, there was just something about her that made me want to try her as a stylist. I have never, NEVER, been to a salon where I've shown a photo to a stylist of what envision my hair looking like and then left feeling like I got EXACTLY what I wanted, only better. My hair looks gorgeous, feels so healthy and as if that's not enough, my spirit feels rejuvenated. Sandi has such a warm and bubbly personality--it's contagious. Our conversation never felt forced, and even though this was my first time visiting, I didn't feel like a newcomer. This really speaks to the inviting environment that is fostered at Summer Falls Day Spa. I feel so fortunate to have found a stylist near my home that I love. Thank you Sandi!
