I tried this after refusing to go to Target since policy changes. The ordering on the app was ok, a little buggy. I got everything I ordered, however the mascara I ordered has a busted open box. I thought it must've bounced around during the trip home since my cleaning products were all in one bag. I went to use it today (the next day) and noticed the mascara has been open and completely used up. I am concerned that the staff member picking the order didn't notice the broken package and bagged it anyway. My family and I went in there, we came in to get passport photos and there was only 1 person working with a long line, we went to the stand where you get passport photos taken and she directed us saying we needed to wait in the regular checkout line, then when we were first in line she proceeded to tell us we needed to wait for EVERYONE behind us to checkout before she could help us and had an attitude with us after she gave us the wrong directions in the first place. we left without hesitation and took our business elsewhere. read more

Today, just now, was the final straw. I waited in the drive-through for 25 minutes and when my turn came up they closed for lunch "pharmacist not on duty." That is absolute BS! My spouse and I had appointments scheduled on line but when we arrive the pharmacy,it took us 30 minutes wait to check in with only one person ahead of us. It took anther 30 minutes to get the scheduled shots. The pharmacist administered the injection who was rushed and rough. my one arm was bruised at the injection site. Her bedside manner was impersonal. It was inefficient and incompetent. service. Last year I had good experience at the same place but with different staff. Maybe this is the new crew. Traveling to the nearby stores, looking for iodine (science experiment supplies) and with 3 unsuccessful attempts, we have success! With Walgreens being my last stop, I called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for, the male employee who answered was very kind, even telling me the prices before hand. Upon arrival, I found what I needed in the section it should be in. Walking toward the register to checkout there weren't any emoloyees but a alarm sensor that let's employees know to head to the front. I was helped right away and the female employee was very kind. For a Monday morning, things were a little frazzled as the two employees I encountered were in the back putting on new price labels and changing things around, but was helped in a friendly manner each time and both had great service. Drive Up Pharmacy Fast every time. Nice smiles and just super quick service. Impressed at this location after my old spot starting taking sometimes 15minutes! Inside is always clean, inviting with employees welcoming us with hellos. Basic Walgreens set up with a nice big corner lot! Lots of grocery with refrigerated/frozen items galore! I notice a younger employee base, which I think is great, with Aloha HS just a few blocks away. Engaging and helpful every time. I truly enjoy this spot! Now stop selling cigarettes. read more

SALONPAS Lidocaine 4% Pain relieving gel patches recommended by the Walgreens Pharmacist suck. They are worthless garbage I strained my knee and these patches actually made the pain worse. They are hard to apply and stick to everything but my knee, I used 1 patch ...No relief, then another then after 4 patches the pain got worse. Then when I woke up they had all fallen off my knee and were affixed to my bedding...Worthless but very expensive for no measurable relief. read more

This store itself is awesome. The reason for my poor review is because of one employee. The bearded man. I believe his name is ken or something. My wife and I (a man) refuse to come back until we know that he doesn't work there anymore. Every time I go in there he pressures me to tell him my name excessively and will try to hold my items or my change hostage until I tell him (which I refuse to do) and it makes me really uncomfortable. He will also follow me around in the store while I am looking around to flirt with me. The other day he was even following me around the toothbrush isle in his high heels. I have just had the worst service from a pharmacy tech named SARAH at the Walgreens on 185th. I am very sick and needed help filling an antibiotic that I take daily. SARAH would not help me or contact my physicians office. She was cold and uncaring. I asked for help from the store manager but he too didn't care. Shame on you guys. Aside from the pharmacy being conveniently located, every interaction in the past year I have had here has been difficult if not full of miscommunication and frustration. I am also shocked that rather than verifying the patient's name and date of birth they use such a ridiculous and arbitrary thing as an address. As someone who has moved often, a patient's address is not the best identifier off the bat. As a parent of children who live in two homes, what if they are sent under the other parents address? It is just stupid. The techs need to be sure to communicate the correct information to the patients about what needs to happen when medication transfers occur or if there are alerts from the insurance company. Don't withhold information from the patients. Also, stop sending the pharmacist over for consults when we have been taking the same meds for years and have actually refilled that med at the location many times before. Just stop! read more

I will go to this Walgreens pharmacy whenever I can from now on! Jeff went out of his way to help me with my prescription / insurance issues with my test strips. My insurance was being difficult, and Jeff kept on working on my behalf what he could do to help me. I was so frustrated, and I know he was getting frustrated but he kept on and was very professional. Walgreens must be very proud to have such a dedicated and customer service employee. Two stars is being generous. Poor communication with prescriptions. Hope you don't ever have a prior authorization that needs to be completed because this pharmacy doesn't check the status of those. Had to ask to be told it just came in that morning yet hadn't been filled. Then when told to come back later I'm told they don't have it in stock at all but could anyone call & tell me?! Nope they are too lazy for that. So don't expect them to care if they waste your time. And expect to have to keep following up on your own prescriptions. read more

Even when they knew I was waiting for them to fill a prescription I had dropped off over an hour before they still managed to get sidetracked. Even the express kiosks aren't working. read more

Very disappointed with their process. I went to this pharmacy for the first time the last two days. There were issues with both prescriptions. The first one, I was never asked for a consultation even though I told the pharmacist I had never used that drug. Rather than offering a consultation, she rang me up on the cash register and I walked out not knowing important side effects and was too sick to ask on my own. A second prescription was called in by my doctor around 6:30 pm the next day. I was told that I would receive a text message when the prescription was ready for pick up. The pharmacy closed, I did not receive the text and I was not able to take my meds which was critical for pain that evening. The next morning, I called the store and a message indicated that the prescription was ready and I should have received a text. I never received the text and I had to wait in pain all night long. When I went to the pharmacy, I told them what happened and all they said was I'm sorry. Well, I'm sorry but that is not acceptable. This was a really bad experience, especially when you are suffering in pain and need your meds and you count on healthcare professionals to do their job correctly. read more

Whenever I can, I bring my business into this location. It's not because of the random selections scattered about the vast majority of the stores shelves. I don't go out of my way for their photo printing services. I go for the pharmacy. When you walk into this store you see the same kind of bored college kids that seem to make up the staff at every other Walgreens location that I've been in. They are there to do their jobs and don't offer a memorable customer experience. Of course the clerks are courteous with the same corporate enthusiasm that this kind of environment tends to produce. To be fair, I know in the same circumstances, I wouldn't be a beaming ray of sunshine either. I do my business at this store because of the pharmacy staff. Not for the retail clerks that help run the registers when the pharmacy is buried with customer orders, but the actual pharmacy staff. Even when they are swamped with orders they still find time to be customer service superstars. Here is just one example of many that I've had. Jeff is a really great pharmacist who truly looks out for his customers, he is very knowledgeable and he has a great memory too. My parents who were visiting from out of town had decided to come with me to the pharmacy. They came in with me to get a couple items while I was inquiring on a Rx. Dad had mentioned a couple of issues he was having and I told him about how great I have been treated at this location. Jeff was there that day so we decided to see if he had any insight into the issues dad was having. He really treated my parents well with patient personable service while offering a great wealth of information and a multitude of different options for each of my dads inquiries. We left armed with a plan, great information, and some recommended products. You know it's a good thing when you leave a store with far more than you've planned on, and you don't feel any buyers remorse. I returned to the store over a week later to grab another Rx and Jeff was there again. While I was checking out he asked about my parents, he not only remembered our visit, but wanted to follow up with specifics on his progress. He remembered in detail my dads health issues, medications and products he had discussed with him over a week earlier. I can't even remember what I had for breakfast most days. Luckily, I had spoken to my dad a couple days earlier and he had updated me on the recommendations that Jeff had given him. So I relayed the information to Jeff and he had a few follow up care tips in return. He definitely didn't have to take the time to go out of his way for people that he's only met once and that don't even live in the area. It shows me that he has pride in his work and that he cares about building customer relationships which in turn makes people like myself into loyal customers. It is this kind of customer service that is hard to find these days, especially in corporate giants like Walgreen's. This was just one instance of many great experiences that I've had with all of the pharmacy staff at this location. I would say that the pharmacy's service really shines, the rest of the store while lacking in the same polished service is always clean, well organized and brightly lit. My hope is that Walgreen's will one day staff their entire stores with the same caliber of people that have provided me with such great customer service. read more
