So now I got all my med in CVS and it is so much easier NO MORE WALGREENS also I have a credit card and I can Not pay my bill at the store just online. thank god I am almost done with my deb, so I will close that card right away... Husband and I are seniors and eligible for COVID vaccinations. In Oregon, we now also need a prescription from our PCP and an appt. I first tried online to get an appt at CVS. Website said no appts available in our area. Period. I arranged everything at Walgreens. Went in, no prescription, they said. No shot. Husband had the same experience at another Walgreens--twice. Husband went into CVS in person. The process was long, but he finally got an appt for a week out. As soon as our PCP sent in the prescription, I was notified. Later that day, I got a text with an assigned day and time. The day arrived, I got a text my 5:00 appt was cancelled. Then a text my 6:15 appt was a cancelled. One minute later, a text saying I had a 6:15 appt. Husband and I both went in shortly before 5:00, hoping I possibly had an appt. As we began explaining to one employee, Sokhemry looked up from her work, soon came to the counter and took over. Ten minutes later, we both walked out with COVID boosters. We are immensely grateful, Sokhemry!

This was my first time looking for the vaccine outside a doctor's office and receiving it at a pharmacy, and the scheduling and arrival experience made me feel at ease. Enter in what you're looking for, when and where you're looking and *presto* times and locations near you. I was able to find an appointment the next day! The attention to detail was appreciated: The day of scheduling, a customized text and email to manage the appt and make changes, need be. Then, day of, a reminder call from the pharmacist confirming insurance coverage (she had checked ahead of time before I even headed over!) and then a text when it was nearly time so I could just tap when I arrived at the pharmacy counter to check in. In all honesty, yes there was about a 5-10 minute wait until we were helped despite there being one pharmacy tech, but let's have some grace: Our pharmacists are stretched super thin, and it honestly wasn't a big deal. The tech did ask if we were being helped. When it was time, we confirmed what we were here for and handled payment. Then, we were getting our vaccine! We were told to just hang out for 10 and browse the store just to be safe. Shout out to Emilee, our pharmacist, who was very patient and friendly. Getting poked isn't the most fun, but the experience was made pleasant thanks to her kindness. Overall, 10/10 recommend getting a vaccine here. Very clean. Now, this was on a weekday afternoon so I'm not sure if the wait time etc might change on a different time, but the CVS experience was super smooth and with bookings seemingly spaced out so there isn't too much overlap, sounds like CVS has it down. Walkins are also doable here. P.S. I got Moderna, but if you're on the search for Novavax, I heard online that there may be a bug where you check Novavax but the option might not completely carry through? They definitely carry it (check stock ahead of time!), so I'd confirm with the pharmacist with what you're getting -- a good practice regardless :)

I have been going here for years. All of a sudden they decided they no longer want to carry one of…read moremy prescriptions. But they said they don't know the reason why they wouldn't carry it (???) and were unwilling to explain the reason. They were "sorry" but couldn't give me any information. I had been getting that prescription from them for years. Otherwise I've had a great experience but I'm so put off by this. I prefer using a local pharmacy, and mostly this has been a good one, but I am baffled by this latest development.

Go back today, billing issue with the VA even though they are an in-network pharmacy. Go to VA hospital, explain to them the issue. They call CVS to get prescription released... three hours later, not released yet. Call the pharmacy, the digital assistant is garbage, can't talk to anybody. I verify it it is me, try to use automatic transfer, call stalls out, goes nowhere. What a waste of time, while sick. Thanks for expressly not helping this veteran.

I walked up to the photo area that is clearly marked, I was told by the lady at the counter that there is only "one line" and she pointed to the cashier line. There was line rope and her gesturing seemed to indicate I needed to walk around the other side of it. So I walked to the line and walked back up to photo counter to request my photos again. She looked up and told me, "I told you there is one line." At that point I understood what I needed to do: I had to wait at the check out line to request my photos from a cashier. (There was no signage to say this was the protocol.) The photos printed turned out great but I'm very disappointed in the customer service I received today.

Bottle selling is near the garden center exit. The store is super well decorated with lots of cute things to see.

I usually park a little ways out to avoid the congestion. On this particular day, I left home 15 minutes earlier to meet friends at a restaurant on Walker Rd. After lunch, I was planning on joining a friend at the gym. I had lost my lock, so I wanted to pick one up on the way to the restaurant. I didn't have a lot of leeway, but I thought this would be a quick in and out. When I entered the side entrance, I saw a cashier, and I thought that would be perfect for checking out on the way out. I was having a hard time locating the Hardware section. I didn't see anyone to ask..so I just wandered in a direction I thought it would be. I finally found the Hardware section, but didn't see anything saying locks. Again, no one to ask, so I wandered the aisles. I finally found the combination locks. I made a beeline for the cashier I saw when entering the store. There weren't any customers in her area, she was having a conversation with a fellow employee. I walked over to the counter and the other employee left. I saw a closed sign on the counter, so I asked if she was closed, and she said yes. So I started to walk away to search for an open cashier. As I started to walk away, I looked back and there wasn't a closed sign on the register on the other side. So I asked her if this side was open and she said yes. So I said, OK. And she asked me "what was that?" And I said, "OKAY!" Why didn't she let me know that she could help me on the other side?? And the way she asked me, "What was that?" Was said with an attitude. So I said "OKAY" with an attitude back!
