My 27-year-old daughter was with me, didn't have her ID on her, and wasn't buying anything. Cue the high school kid behind the counter -- still rocking a face full of acne and the confidence of someone who just discovered deodorant -- telling me he can't sell me the beer because she didn't have her ID. Really? She's almost 30. I'm clearly the one making the purchase. Instead of using a shred of common sense, he clings to the rulebook like it's the Constitution. I get that there are policies, but there's also something called judgment. This wasn't underage drinking -- this was grown adults getting treated like teenagers trying to pull a fast one. Next time I'll just take my business to a place where the clerks can tell the difference between a real customer and an after-school power trip.

The pharmacy is perhaps a different story. I've done pick up, and that was a disappointment because the response while filling my order was they were out of stock of a cold medicine I walked right in and picked it up off the shelf, same day as my order and within a few mins of my order being read. No clue how the person filling the order missed it and it was in the correct place. The coupons definitely help with the overall cost when I need something. I only shop when I have coupons, which seem to be often! I've used the pharmacy for vaccines, they get you in and out as long as they acknowledge your presence and honor the appointment time. I've waited an hour for a vaccine despite having an appt and checking in. The store could be stocked better, pharmacy could do a better job with appointments and associates, I rarely interact with because I use self check out to utilize all my rewards. The last associate that checked me out didn't apply all my rewards/coupons despite me saying to use them all. Basically I have a love-hate relationship with the CVS in store experience, this includes all locations I've visited. Online is my personal favorite.

I have been to both locations and I must say that the professionalism and knowledge is displayed across the board. I went in for cough syrup and cod liver oil. They are safe for me while nursing and they also are made for people who may be diabetic or have high blood pressure. They have so much to choose from! I have things from their hair care line, tea, etc. There is also a way to shop online for your connivence. Another FYI, the store Downtown does not have everything in store.
