Despite the poor reviews in times past, I thought I would check out their infrared, sauna, spa…read moreoptions they now offer. When I asked about their services, the woman at the desk, who was very unfriendly and seemed to be having a miserable day, handed me over to a young lady that was the exact opposite. She showed me around the salon, telling me about each of the services and was a delight. But when I asked about details of the red light therapy, the sauna, chromatherapy...she did not have any answers. Out of curiosity, I asked about the chemicals used for their spray tans...she did not know. I asked about the differences in some of their tanning beds, to which she did not know. But she was doing her best...just not trained well or able to answer important questions. When we returned to the desk, I learned about the $29 signing up fee regardless of any service...and then more about their fees. The dark haired woman that I first encountered, was very abrasive to the point of being rude when I asked her questions that the young blonde woman couldn't answer. Because of the way I was treated and the inability to get details about the services that could affect my health, I left...and will not return. Unfortunately, the years of poor reviews don't seem to have changed much in regards to service.

I think she was upset that she had to put me in the system, but that took less than a minute - all she had to do was ask me my name and my email. Then, she walked back to get her friend. I could hear them complaining about me. She and her friend both came to me and told me they couldn't do my spray tan. I asked for the other girl's name and she turned around and walked away. They couldn't have been ruder. That was my first and LAST time at Palm Beach. Super disappointed!

The girl who checked me in, was very friendly and outgoing (I wish I remembered her name). I used a standard bed just to get a base. Although the bed was a little older than I expected it still got the job done. The power button on room 10 sticks which requires a very hard push. Not a major deal but might need a tech to look at. The facility was very clean and no need to bring your own goggles.

The process is pretty simple and doesn't take long; everyone here is a total pro so there's no discomfort even though you're standing practically naked in front of a stranger. I'd say the first day was a bit more than that I would have liked but my wedding tan wasn't my first so I knew that going in. I was sprayed on a Wednesday and got married on a Saturday and had the bridal glow I was looking for. The tan slowly faded throughout my honeymoon. They have package deals that are really great and there's also partial body tan options. Love love love!
