No stars this place should be ashamed of themselves worst customer service I have ever experienced, called in a refill on Saturday told p/u on Monday by the recording. Got a text Monday ready for pick up, went to pick up after work on Tuesday at 4:28 pm in the drive thru. Waited 20 minutes to get to the drive thru window to wait another 8 minutes when given the prescription request to the clerk who informed me they were just starting to work on it. I was told go sit in the parking lot in the sun here in phoenix for 10 minutes and I told him no I'll wait here until you fill it since I was told it was ready and waited as long as I did! So they were so nice to fill it at 3 tablets instead of the 45 the script called for because they really were so nice to take care of me!!! and it took another @10 minutes, I worked as a pharmacy tech and it doesn't take that long to fill a standard high blood pressure prescription. The place gets a 2.5 star rating on yelp which they don't deserve! They will not get another thin dime of my money as I will transfer this prescription to another pharmacy and if you like to be treated as if you matter you might want to move yours too. UNBELIEVABLE !!! You should be ashamed of your stores performance I am a branch manager in a customer service business and that kind of service will get your doors closed on you....I hope! read more

The pharmacy definitely takes a while to answer their phone and if you go through the drive-through to pick up your prescription, be prepared to wait a while before anyone even comes to the window to acknowledge you. so far, I have had no complaints with the staff as they all seem to be pretty friendly read more

Pharmacy had me on hold for 15 minutes and never answered. I called twice and spent my entire 30-minute lunch break waiting on the phone just to speak to someone about my prescription. Get your stuff together! read more

On 17 Nov this Walgreens suddenly closed for some unknown emergency and no one can the me how I am suppose to pickup my filled Rx. If you call the stores number you are automatically transferred to a 3rd world call center where the CSR barely speaks English. read more

Good luck... lol The pharmacy NEVER answers their phones. I've had calls that I waited 27 minutes before giving up (determined!). And the few times that they did answer, the guy told me they couldn't order the IVF medication I needed which is weird because many people in my FB groups said Walgreens was where they got it. I called a different Walgreens and they were able to get it. The next month I needed it and went back to THIS Walgreens because I live in anthem and the other one was way down near the 101. I told the guy that it is complete self pay and turns out they WERE able to order it he just didn't try the self pay option last time even though I told him it was not through insurance. Well I also needed extra needles so my doctor sent in a script for 23g 1/2inch syringe and apparently they didn't have those needles in stock so instead of ordering them, they just opted to give me a 31g 6mm syringe (a Botox needle) which was NOT long enough to deliver the meds subcutaneously... the pharmacist and staff are completely irresponsible and just bad at their jobs. And when I called to get this corrected, they don't answer their phones!!! read more

I have been going to this Walgreens for years for other people in my house hold but never for myself. I recently did switch this Walgreens pharmacy for myself. Up until recently I had experienced really bad service. They answer the phone very abruptly and rudely. No one ever identifies themselves and they cut you off and didn't listen almost always. However I have recently encountered Jackson answering the phone and he is amazing as well as I believe Ashely or Amber also great service! Wonderful customer service , total turnaround and just dealing with them altogether is so much easier and I really appreciate the staff now! read more

Pharmacy drive thru at this location is very well run. Techs and pharmacists are very efficient and knowledgable.

Stupid policy of the day!!!! Oct 6 2022 I was looking for Diet 7 Up and found it advertised on the Walgreens website (for Lake Havasu City Arizona) @ 3 for $11.99. So I stopped in and picked up three. Getting to the register it ring's up at $15.98 so I pull up the ad on my phone and ask the obnoxious clerk if the soda is not in fact 3 for $11.99. She tells me that's an online price and then immediately follows that up with "do you want to see a manager?" I must have been disturbing her. I mean WTF! So now a bit annoyed I asked if I had ordered online and driven to the store would they have brought it out to me in the parking lot for $11.99 and she says yes. What a dumb a## policy. And I told her that, paid for the soda and left. What a deceptive way of doing business. Come on.... if you're not going to honor an online price then don't advertise it that way. Or at least notify the customer of the policy before they get to the register. Likely not a place I'll be doing a lot of business with in the future. Looking at some other reviews I saw that I was not the first customer to be duped like this. read more

Many of my prescriptions are not stocked at the store, so you must wait 3+ days to be delivered from a central warehouse. To accomadate this ineffective system I also use Walgreens Automated Refill. Today I learned that their system did not work and medication that I must use has not been ordered yet. They told me they hope to get my refill by Monday evening. The lesson here is you better track your own meds and not rely on Walgreens read more

Not only do they shut the window on the drive truth while people are still in line . If you haven't been helped by 5 too bad. You are supposed to stay open15 min or until your customers who were there are done. Today we go to get rx and window is closed pharmacy is closed. Evidently down with covid. My meds were already filled and all that would have had to do was hand them over. No we had to go to Carefree. I would not suggest anyone get life saving medications from this location read more

Gave this pharmacy multiple chances. Screwed up my vaccine appt, lied to me about their communication with a Doctor's office on a form needed and then after a total run-around don't have meds in stock....something they could have said hours ago before chasing my tail. These are separate issues but speak to their incompetence and it's a real disappointment since it's a neighborhood store. Having read other reviews I guess I should have expected that level of mediocrity. read more

Two days in a row we have found limited support at the drive through window. Today, Saturday, 6 cars backed up and drove away after the person at the window could not get any service. She was waving like crazy. I even walked in to see what was going on and the line was 3-4 deep. Only saw one person working. Friday afternoon I waited for 10 mi at window and NO ONE came to service us. So we left. Very disappointed. Not sure what the issue is for lack of service. read more

This was my first time using the photo shop in Walgreen's. Jeff was behind the counter and assisted me. His patience and very pleasant demeanor along with his superior customer has surely made me a customer for life. Service always depends on who's working. There's a younger gentleman who's very nice but there's one blonde woman I dealt with coming through one day. She kept asking me for my insurance card that she had in her hand. When I told her that is my insurance, she didn't say anything that would make me believe I might have given her the wrong card, I actually did not give her the wrong one. Her response was "okay yeah but what's your insurance?" Like girl what??? She had a nasty attitude the whole time. read more

Today 1/12/23 3:10pm. Waited 42 minutes in drive thru line to pick up prescriptions. New prescription and asked if I wanted pharmacist to go over the new one with me. I said no because I already waited in line long enough and there are 10 cars behind me. I get home and the instructions are in Spanish. I don't even speak Spanish, nor did I request it to be. Is it because I have a Spanish last name that they assumed I do speak it? Now I have to Google translate everything just to understand the instructions on taking the new medication. I am writing to commend the excellent service I received from the Walgreens in Anthem Arizona at this location 2411 W Anthem WayAnthem, AZ 85086.Katarina the lead pharmacist has on several occasions went above and beyond to make sure I get my medications. But recently I had a situation where my endocrinologist was not available to fill my insulin medication before a flight. My sugar was over 300 and I had a splitting headache and Rebecca & Patty were at the pharmacy this day and they stopped what they were doing called my doctor several times an even called my insurance to try to help get my prescription. With no avail it was unsuccessful. They still didn't give up! They had recently opened their minute clinic . They called over and got me an instant appointment and within an hour had my prescription ready and I was able to get my sugar down. I am beyond grateful and will never forget this experience. It gave me hope that there are really good people still out there and that customer service still exist. A million thank yous!! I Love this staff And I must say seeing it also under the manager named Lisa has also makes this Walgreens outstanding. read more

I HATE this Pharmacy. Scripts never ready, always waiting!!!! We have called ahead, dropped off and waited in the store. It is never ready on time!!! Rude Pharmacist and no since of urgency. I purchased an item in Tucson, didn't use it and returned it once home back in Anthem. They couldn't/wouldn't refund the tax difference (a difference greater than $0.25). Other establishments can do this - not Walgreens. read more

My wife and I have been going to this store for 5 years, as we live 2 blocks away. All of the ladies know us and our daughter. My wife had stopped in after the gym one evening. The night manager Jeff struck up a conversation with her, and asked her where she was coming from. She told him she'd been at her Jiu-Jitsu class. He said that he'd love to spar with her. He then said "You know what I say about sparring" He then gets right in her ear and says "Clothing is optional." THE MANAGER OF THE STORE! Disregard the fact that she's a married woman, and he knows this, but he says this to a female customer. Now my wife refuses to go in there anymore. Avoid this store and go to CVS. read more

I will NEVER return to this pharmacy-Walgreens in Anthem. They filled my prescription with the wrong drug. Luckily I noticed and brought it back to the pharmacy. It would have caused serious problems had I taken it! I filed a complaint with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and haven't stepped foot back into this pharmacy again. If I could give the walgreens pharmacy a negative review I would. EVERY TIME I go in their to fill a Rx there is always a long line and they don't even acknowledge that you are standing there. Then when you finally get waited on, they tell you they still need more time to fill the Rx and if you can come back later. I submitted the dang thing the day before and they think we want to spend our weekend running back and forth to walgreens then stand in line yet again. Today was the last straw. I'm transferring my prescriptions to CVS, or better yet, I'm ordering by mail and having it delivered. I'm sure all Anthem residents will agree with me when they read this post!!!!!! read more
