Your photo department lacks basic understanding of how photo emailing works but they feel free to provide a myriad of explanations. I came in for a passport photo. The required digital part never arrived. They told me to wait. 3 days later I returned. Took a second photo and was expected to pay again- after all they had to do it all over again. I waited and called back 24 hours later. The woman taking the call apparently only slightly attended to anything being said as I explained I had come in the day before - as in yesterday. She assured me I was calling the wrong store as the person there said no one had come in today. Again I told her yesterday and as impossible as it sounds that took a third telling! She still insisted I was calling wrong store as there were 3 in Altamonte. I told her the one on corner of Maitland Ave and 436. She spouted her address and followed up there were 3 stores. I pointed out only one was at the corner of ... to which she assured me there was one by the freeway and one .... So I asked her on what corner was HER WALGREENS. We're by First Watch and Chipotle. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL THE GIRL WHERE SHE WORKS?! I calmly explained I'm looking for a solution to this problem. She informed me this happens sometimes. So....what do you do to fix it? We just give them there money back if they come in. To say this encounter was dense is an understatement. This employee did not listen. The ones in between that I spoke too gave explanations as to why it happened or they just could not see how it happened but the problem remained. Employees appear untrained and unsupervised and this issue not restricted to photo dept. I will give them that most try. They just don't have a clue. read more

I had a terrible experience tonight. Everytime I come to this location no one is at the front register. I always have to wait 15-20 mins for an employee to come assist. No one greets the customers nor tell them they will be with you momentairly. This is the 2nd incident where I had to wait while the employees walk around the store. Pablo was extremely rude and I was informed by another customer his wife had to report him to corporate. I also will Be reporting him to Corporate. When I came to the register, Pablo stood in front of me playing on his phone. He did not acknowledge that I was standing with my items in my buggy. When I left and came back from getting my card out my car he was in photography assisting customers. Again, me and the other customer waited. I called for help Afterwards, Plabo yelled to me. "You can wait!" Very loudly and rudly! I informed him everytime I come in this store I'm always waiting more than 5minutes. He kept yelling at me until another employee came to assist. He looked as if he was coming to put his hands on me and I felt threatened. Had it not been for the other employee I'm not sure what could have happened. read more

Customer service at the pharmacy needs a lot of work. Advice for them: if you notice a customer waiting while you are bustling around, at least greet them and let them know you will be with them in a moment. I'm waiting right now, and it's like I'm invisible to them. Sucks. read more

They say a picture tells a thousand words how about a video. I can't believe I tried to work at Walgreens and they wouldn't hire me because I was a veteran, but I go in and get this type of customer service. This worker displayed port attitude and upset all the customers then proceeded to eat at the register. We called management but they didn't handle it in a professional manner, the manager was on site that day and said nothing just watched the line longer. This location is unethical. read more

It's clear to see why this location has such low stars. Manager refused to honor a price on the shelf even when the associate agreed that it was stocked in the wrong shelf position. If it was a big price difference I'd understand why they'd have an issue with it but it was a personal care item that was made into an ordeal when the manager asked what the item was and the cashier raised the bottle of lubricant up in the air for the entire line of customer to see. Good thing I'm not shy about buying stuff like this. Can't imagine them embarrassing someone else like this though. Poor leadership example. Short caucasian lady with blonde hair should probably get re trained. Maybe because Walgreens and CVS are down in sales so they wring every penny they can get out of customers. There isn't anything awesome about this location. Usually Walgreens employees welcome you when you come to the location, this one didn't. The store was and always is clean, fully stocked and organized. I never have a hard time finding anything that I need here. The cashier was friendly and helped me to save $ by looking up rewards from years ago! I'll continue to go back, don't see a reason not to. read more

I have been using Walgreens for years however this is the worst location I have ever dealt with. Moved to the area over a year ago and have consistent issues with trying to get prescriptions filled on time and accurate. The lines are always ridiculous many times I've waited more than 30 minutes to pick up a prescription that was called in at least 24 hours before. Constant excuses as to why the prescriptions are not ready none of which should be my issue. Staffing needs to change or increase! read more

So this incident happened in the Walgreens in Altamonte Springs and the past one was in Canton, Ohio. The newest one I go to now, so far, I like, in Boynton Beach.. the tall male main clerk was Intially rude but I spoke to his Mgr and he has changed his tune to actually pleasant. This is the worst healthcare I have ever received. I should have gone to the Health Department instead; it was that bad. The Take Care clinic did the exact opposite of taking care of me as a patient. I will never use Walgreens in any capacity ever again. I went in for a TB test as I am going to graduate school and need to have multiple immunizations/vaccinations. While receiving my TB test from the ARNP, Donnamarie Mecca, I had tried to show her my form for these vaccinations. She was in a rush, complained about how busy her day had been and didn't seem interested in my medical forms. I informed her that I was paying for the TB test out of pocket since Walgreens does not have a contract with my insurance. It was $28, no big deal. I then proceeded to ask about the Chicken pox vaccine (Varicella) because I thought I might need one. She said that if I might need one, to go ahead and get it today before I leave the clinic because there is a month time window I would have to wait after the Tb test. I felt that increase of pressure to do so, trusting her - I agreed. She administered the chicken pox vaccine and then afterwards, proceeded to tell me it would be $150! Shocked by the number, I paid for it because I didn't know what else to do at the time. I went home and called the corporate number for Walgreens and got absolutely zero help or sympathy for my situation. The corporate manager I spoke to numerous times, basically said that it was my own responsibility to ask/figure out how much this vaccine was going to cost out of pocket. I explained that I didn't realize I would have to get that vaccine, the same day, thus not being able to research the cost prior to the appointment. My point: Their healthcare provider failed to inform me, the patient, of how much a service would cost PRIOR to administering said service. Then did nothing to help me, offer a partial refund, etc. Now I am stuck with paying for $150 vaccine that I didn't even need, if their ARNP had looked at my paperwork that stated I could have had a titer (blood test) done to prove I had the antibodies already in my system. Worst healthcare I have ever received and I am beyond disappointed with Walgreens, the ARNP at this location and their absolute failure at customer service. read more

I want to thank the management for leading by example. I had an issue with some candy and he not only took it all off of the shelf, had a discussion with his staff members, but credited my entire purchase without me knowing. I chatted privately with a Walgreens rep on social media and my concern was reported to the local store manager. It was handled expeditiously. On another note, I used curbside service and it was a seamless process. I selected my items online, was notified my order was ready and I wasn't there 5 minutes before my order was brought to my car. If you complain about wait time, if you're unhappy about "customer service" , I would like to remind you all that the cashier is the low man on the totem pole, upper management neither listens to them, or frankly cares. If you want better people to wait on you, talk the the CEO's, they get paid very well and have wonderful benefits, low man on totem pole has none of this. Pay is most likely not good, no decent hours to work, (they wouldn't want to give out benefits), so call the CEO's, flood their lines with your complaints, tell them to pay people a LIVING wage, then they may get better people. Tell them to cut the salaries of the "upper" management and start paying those who actually do the work. read more

Great customer service. I was welcomed upon entering the store, asked if I needed help by numerous employees as I walked through the aisles. The store is clean, plenty of parking and the customer service is great. I will be using the Walgreens again. read more

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. Anytime I try to fill my pain medication they look at me like I'm a drug dealer or junkie and say "they need to call my doctor to verify." Yet all the non-minorities I've seen there have no issues picking up their pain meds. I even had a lady who was standing next to me in line say to me "That's ridiculous! I've never even heard of that and I get pain medicine here all the time." Now yet again I have to suffer because the pharmacist put a block on my meds so no other Walgreens will fill it. Again, I have NO history of abuse and I get blood tested to make sure all of my systems are working fine due to the risk of taking pain meds. Bottom line... I have to suffer because some racists assholes whom suffer from a God complex are assuming they know more than my doctor who has been treating me for years. Well guess what... I'm getting a lawyer. Don't go here. They are NOT here to help, but to cause more pain and suffering I rate this location -500 Stars. read more

TOTAL JOKE! I tried filling Adderall script and she said she couldn't fill without Dr. Calling to explain why I'm taking it. I was pretty confused since I have been taking it for over 3 years. She then started to actually lecture me on how the FDA hasn't approved it for adults and that it was only tested on children. Basically, the wannabe Dr is on is on a power and morality trip and thinks she knows better than my Dr. Absolutely crazy stupid. Laziest pharmacy staff I have ever dealt with in my entire life ! Just dropped off an RX that my child has taken for years. She checks and tells me it is in stock and "due to the nature of the medication, give me 24 hours". I look at her and said "WHAT?!?" She said "do you need it sooner ??" "YES HE NEEDS IT TODAY". This is not a rare medication, it's not a new medication and it's not something she has to compound. She has to count out 30 pills. Obviously this is beyond her skill level. I go here often and usually after 12am. The day time staff are usually polite and talkative. But the older man who works after 12am is rude. He won't even talk to me or my bf when we come in and go through his line. At first i thought nothing of it thinking maybe he's having a bad night. But it is every single time now. He'll have full blown conversations with other customers but there is something about us he doesn't like I guess. read more

This is just up the street from my house and this particular location sees me on a very regular basis for retail purchases. I don't always Yelp about when I go, but it's damn nearly daily. I will say that they ALWAYS have a very nice cashier/front counter person who is pleasant and efficient. That means a lot to me. I've had my moments with the pharmacy at this location and at other Walgreen's as well. However, I've noticed a huge improvement in their pharmacy efficiency. Whatever they've done, kudos! I still prefer to use Publix since I tend to be able to secure better prices for my rx's. I HAVE to shop around. However, when you're leaving the hospital at a late hour and NEED your rx RIGHT away....they're like an oasis in the desert. I'm sold and I notice they don't seem to have high turnover and that tends to ensure the employees actually care. I try to only shop where I'm treated well. read more

I am truly appalled at the lack of consideration that this pharmacy showed my father today. (2/5/2015). My father who is about to turn 73 had surgery to have two (2) cancerous tumors from his bladder at Florida Hospital Altamonte. My father was in a great deal of pain and a his doctor left a prescription for a pain medication to assist him. However, he happened to write on the bottom of the narcotic prescription that the other prescriptions had been faxed to Publix. Those would be the antibiotics he will have to take for the next 2 weeks. Walgreens on Maitland & 436 have an agreement with the hospital called bed side service; they accept faxed narcotic prescriptions from the hospital and deliver them to the patient and then they are given the hard copy for the files. When the pharmacist who would only provide her name as Ally B read the doctors note on the bottom of the page that the other scripts were sent to Publix she refused to fill the pain medication. She informed the nurse that I could cancel the Publix prescriptions and have them transferred over to them and they would then fill them all and bring to my father. REALLY???!!!!.... Walgreens does not accept my fathers insurance (Tri Care for Life) which means I have to pay cash and full price. Publix on the other hand not only accepts the insurance the 1 antibiotic would have been FREE... So basically I was going to have to come out of pocket with over $50.00 (not a whole lot of money) because the insurance would not be accepted. So let's consider this...... I can pay $10.00 for the pain medication from Publix (insurance co-pay) get 1 antibiotic for free and the other was only $3.00 or I can transfer ALL medications to Walgreens and pay more than $50.00... the narcotic alone was $30 + dollars... Needless to say I declined and took the prescription to Publix on my way home while my father waited in the car.... Of course as the day would have it... they did not have it in stock. So now I am stuck having to cancel the other prescriptions to bring to the Walgreens to have them filled. All because they wanted money... Yes that is the only thing that sounds plausible. Why else would they force such a situation. How sad that a store who when you leave says "Be Well" only came across as inconsiderate and money hungry. Even more of a shame for them is now they will get no future money from me or my family. I have removed myself, my husband and my daughter from the pharmacy for any future medications.... I have no interest in contributing to the lack of regard, concern and inconsiderate actions that your store has provided to my family, I will no longer stop there for a soda as I would rather drink from the reclaimed water spout than give you a dime..... I hope that your store is proud of itself and the actions you chose to take. I also hope that anyone that reads this makes sure if you have a script from a surgery being sent over to make sure the doctor does not write there are other prescriptions elsewhere otherwise this Walgreens will have no desire to help you unless they get ALL OF YOUR MONEY read more
