Do NOT buy, lease, trade, sell, give away a car from/to Waldorf Dodge (they're also Waldorf Ford, but I had dealings directly with the Dodge side). Almost 7 months ago (yes, that's SEVEN), my son ordered the new scat pack 2015 Challenger...to his specs...from this dealership (who, from the onset, promised that not only would they make this deal work, but would do anything they could do help us with getting the car delivered in a timely fashion). This particular Challenger (with my son's specs) was not (and continues to not be) readily available in any of the area Dodge dealerships, so hearing (at that time) that we would probably have to wait up to 8 weeks for the car, was understandable. Further, my son was ecstatic because he was trading in his current Challenger (which is a CHERRY...I mean, he keeps her impeccable and barely has any miles on her...I think about 32,000 miles and it's a 2012) and was promised top dollar for his trade-in (whatever it took to get the deal). After MONTHS of hemming and hawing...and still no scat pack Challenger delivered , we find out that another Challenger had been ordered and sold and his hadn't even come out of production yet?? We were told that the dealerships were allotted only a certain number of these cars each, and someone else at their dealership already ordered one, meeting their quota...seriously, WTH??? So...what could we do. We wait. And get more frustrated. FINALLY, December 29th, the car was to be delivered...YAY! But wait...not so fast. We get to the dealership to hammer out the final deal, turn over my son's trade-in, etc., etc. The salesman we had been dealing with would not come to the showroom to meet us...even though he KNEW we were coming and there. Apparently, he had been promoted to General Sales Manager and so, we were given to one of his underlings...and that's when the fun began. All of a sudden, the MSRP was higher than what we were told...the trade-in value of my son's car went to shit...and we couldn't even see the car. I mean, seriously, don't you test drive a car before you rake over thousands of dollars to buy it???? After 3 hours of BULLCRAPPY, that promoted salesman turned GSM, makes an appearance to basically say, "I'm sorry, but these are the numbers...tough crap if you don't want the car". We left...stating we would return on January 5th (with "dad" in tow). Fast forward to today...."dad" finds out that the car is sold...and NOT to my son. It was sold that day we were in there...to SOMEONE ELSE who they got to pay MSRP!! That's why we were not shown the car....that's why they made the deal unattainable. I know car dealerships/salespeople have a rep for being shysters/shady...sort of like lawyers and politicians...but DANG, these here DEFINE that and then some! I know this was a long read, but especially for those of you in the Mid-Atlantic area, STAY AWAY from Waldorf Dodge (Crain Highway in Waldorf, MD)...do not buy a car from this group....do not have your vehicles serviced there. If I were you, I'd go to a dealership that cares about their customers, not one who cares only about digging in your family funds deeply. Go to a dealership that wants to build a lifetime customer, not a one-time rip-off. Go to a dealership where there is a modicum of integrity. Let our lesson learned be yours too...without the hassle of what we endured. read more

They found me a excellent rate and gave me a great deal on my trade. Besides, if you do your homework, Dodge is more vehicle for the money than a ford or Chevy. So I took my Dodge Charger to this dealership about two weeks ago for an oil change. I told the advisor that the rear right tire has a slow leak...I bought all four tires about 15 months ago and the warranty already expired. Later on, I received a call from a lady named Jennifer saying the tire could not be plugged and she said they have the brand on the inventory. I told her to replace it and some other stuffs...at the end, I spent around $850. The following day, I noticed that the tire is different from the rest and I called her to report my findings. She told me to give her till the end of the following week to check the paperwork on their system because the invoice has yet to be scanned into the system. Fast forward, Friday came, no phone call. After that, we both played phone tag with one another for another week or so. Finally yesterday I got her on the phone and she told me to bring in the car so she could see what I was talking about. So today, I took the car in and she was there. After I told her who I was, she looked around the car, checked something on the computer and this lady...Jennifer, told me right into my face that that was not the tire she sold me. She said the one she sold me was on the rear driver's side. I pulled my mask down and said "ma'am, you joking right?" She said no I am serious!!! At this point I was boiling. She made a few calls and a male manager came out and she talked with him. He went back inside and then the technician who changed the tire came out and inspected the tires and he said that was the tire. Then the manager came back out and told me he will order the tire and also offered me credit. I told him I don't want no damn credit, I'm not here for that, all I want is my tire and once I get the call for the tire, that would be my last time EVER at that dealership. I'll pay the extra money to get it towed to the Branch Dodge. If you are completing my service and I have to pay you a diagnostic fee why wouldn't you apply that to the service I'm getting from you. I bought a 2015 Dodge Durango at a dealership in VA. Four days after I bought the vehicle, I had a major mechanical error to come up and I was furious. I had the truck towed to Waldorf Dodge and James Hardin took care of me. He didn't sugar coat anything and he didn't over promise anything. They fixed the problem and they delivered in the time they said they would. When I bought the truck, I really liked it. Now that it's working like a well oiled machine, I really love it. I rides smooth and it's sexy as hell. James Hardin and the team will get my business every time I need them, even for simple things like oil changes. Customer Service goes a very long way and they have earned my trust and respect. I can't say much for the idiot sales manager that I bought the truck from, but that's another review. Took my Durango Citadel there to have the AC unit fixed. Passenger side was blowing hot air. Got a call from the service manager. Gave me an estimate of $1200 and told me the name of a part that needed replacing. There us no such part. Went online to YouTube to see if there were any videos on the subject of fixing the problem in the meantime. Told the service manager to put the car back together because I would fix it myself. He talked to me like I was stupid after that but was willing to "work with me" on the price. Took the service tech twenty minutes to put the vehicle back together so that I could retrieve it from the dealership. Ordered the part that i needed from Amazon. Total cost of $6.98. Had i worked with the service manager to get the price to repair my vehicle down to $600, i still would have paid a little less than $500 too much (provided that i paid $100 for an hour of labor) read more

This was the worst experience of my life Wes and C.P. leave a lot to be desired for excellence in customer service. I put my car in their hands for what I thought would be a care free experience for a simple suspension repair ,not only did they have my car for over three weeks and 289 miles of joy riding clocked on the odometer on their behalf my vehicle still was not repaired correctly. To add insult to injury I made a simple request on day one of this horrible experience to have my vehicle keep inside at night because of the custom wheels that were on the car and both WES AND C.P. assured me that this would take place. Well, news flash it did not! In fact, in my travels home late one night from work I noticed my car sitting outside on the back lot next to Old Washington Road while the dealership was closed and everyone had gone home. Not only was I disgusted with the service, I feel as though I had been lied to on several occasions dealing with these two guys. I decided to take my vehicle home that night and believe it or not it took these idiots TWO days to even realize my car was gone and never once did they call to say anything of comfort about this situation. I sincerely hope Allen Levy (General Manager) takes some action and correct the issues that he has at this dealership. With lack of attention to detail and the very very poor customer service that his service department manager WES and the sell out brother C.P. has provided me and all the other loyal customers who now have to travel all the way to Virginia to get satisfaction. I had a great experience when I bought my car in 2016. I bought the extended warranty, and not even a month later I was having issues with my vehicle and what a surprise....it was not covered in my warranty. I brought the vehicle into the shop and I had them fix the issue. AGAIN, not even a couple days after I noticed the issue was not fixed. I decided to not take my vehicle back because I did not want to have to pay the $100 again. Later on, I had the same experience with another issue. I brought the vehicle in, paid the $100 to get it fixed and a few weeks later the issue was happening again. Another time I took my vehicle in to get my vehicle checked out and they charged me about $150, which they did not tell me was going to be charged. I tried to explain to CP that it was not explained well enough to me (in a very nice manner because I was going to pay it anyways) but his attitude was HORRIBLE and VERY RUDE. I wish I never got my vehicle from this place. I wish I never got the warranty because it is useless. The service department is horrible and over charges for work that they barely did. I hate this place. This place might be good for oil changes only....but that's unlikely. read more

Had my 1993 Dodge Stealth with 49,000 original miles on it towed to their service department when it stopped running on a Monday. They call me back the following Monday, 7 days later telling me none of their mechanics wanted to touch it because it was so old and it has a factory Mitsubishi engine in it since Dodge & Mitsubishi were co-building cars back then. They recommended I tow it to another Dodge or Mitsubishi dealer to have it looked at. Now paying to have it towed to the Alexandria, VA Dodge dealer who said they can diagnose the problem. I have had to return my vehicle for the same problem. On March 12 I had it towed because it would not start. I picked it up on March 14. I held my phone to it as Gene listened to it not starting on March 19. March 23 Mike says it started every time while at the shop. It is still at the shop because I don't want to be stranded again and there has been no resolution. I am so frustrated because my vehicle has less that 20,000 miles on it. Scheduled appointment to see used 2015 RAM 1500 with 18,000 miles. Told Internet Rep that I was driving 1.5 hours to get there - only want to see if it is in great shape. She confirmed it was a "10". Got there - Truck was a mess. Tires were at the wear indicator, interior stunk of cigarette smoke, broken door latch, broken running board, dirty, - stuff you can't see on the web. I bought my truck at a Va dealership in 2015. Ever since then I've continued to take my truck there for maintenance/service due to the great relationship build between them and I. Wednesday my check engine light came on after I attempted to remote start my truck. Being that I live in Waldorf I considered giving this dealership a chance since it's closer. I then proceeded to call the service department and was immediately turned off. I understand that businesses get busy around certain hours, but what I don't understand is the lack of compassion one can have when it comes to helping, especially when it's a part of your job. After telling what was wrong with my truck, I was asked for my name and number and "someone " would get back to me. Whelp yelp fans, it's now Friday and "someone " has yet called. Poor customer relations and if they can treat a human being this way, no telling what they will do to your car. Horrible re misinformation. Horrible attitude re service. Horrible work. Inability to understand and correct. I am in the process of contacting Dodge's Corporate Headquarters to report my dissatisfaction. I am also sending another letter to the General Manager. Had my rotors and brakes replaced to the tune of just under $1100.00 last year. Took the vehicle back because of squeaking, was told that it was normal re metallic brakes. Wrote to the Dealership, then took the vehicle back and they replaced the front pads again. Brakes still squeaked and over the year got progressively louder. Each time I spoke with them they said nothing was wrong. My regular dealership I have my oil changes done said my pads were bad. Made an appointment with Dodge for today, and Dodge said they could not hear the brakes squeaking. This after I sat there for three hours. Attempted to speak with the Service Manager, who said my warranty was only for 12 months or 12,000 miles, which is not what the Service technician told me when I called. They told me my brake pads were low but not worn out yet and that there was nothing they could do but get me some estimates for new pads. Attempted to plead with the Service Manager, but his attitude was the same. I am not a happy customer and will never deal with Waldorf Dodge again. To top all of this off one of the sales ladies asked me if I wanted to trade in my vehicle. I told her not only would I not be trading in my vehicle but will never do any business with Waldorf Dodge again pending my contacting Corporate. This is bad customer service. Most rude service writers, not willing to work with customers the management is some garbage, asked for the gm to call no contact this is 2 weeks later. Wes needs to learn how to conduct business. No wonder the car cannot be fixed there, they don't even check it out when you complain something is wrong with your vehicle, example- complained that the van was riding rough- I looked at front struts they were leaking oil before I brought it in, they called said my veh was ready for pickup- call back ask what was done on it they said they couldn't find anything wrong with front strut so I told the service writer to go look at them his self and tell me they weren't leaking so there one problem. I have been going to Waldorf Dodge for a year now to have all my scheduled maintenance ,oil changes, recalls etc. paying them hundreds of dollars to ensure my car is running at it's optimum performance .This last experience there was very disappointing ,I scheduled an appointment online to have my mileage maintenance performed along with the oil change and recall for Chargers. There was a lot of issues the service was horrible and my car drives horrible ,I have issues that I did not have before taking my car to Waldorf Dodge I will not be taking my car back to Waldorf Dodge ever again and I would not recommend that anyone else does. My husband and I bought a brand new 2500 Ram truck from this dealership last year. We thought the sales department was so great in that they honored the price in which they quoted us even when it was a mistake. (Did take them 2 weeks to get an approval, but still we were happy). Now service on the other hand is a nightmare. My husband's check engine light kept coming on and off, so he took it in they said they couldn't do anything because it was off at the time. So a few weeks later is was on and we took it in dropped it off came to pick it back up and the light was still on. The service manager fixed it, however 2 days later it came back on so I left 3 voicemails on that managers phone with no return calls. I placed a request for a call on the service departments website and still no call or email. During this time I was looking for a new Durango so went back to Waldorf Dodge sales again, the sales women again was so nice and I even asked her to have service call me regarding his truck, and NOTHING! She told me several times she requested them to call me and they stated they would, but never did. So finally after a about 2 months I called and spoke to WES, made an appointment for my husband's truck to be dropped off on a Wednesday and picked up the next day. My husband gets there and ask for WES (just like he told me to do) and he never came out of his office and the service worker said the appointment was for Tuesday @ 8am and didn't know if they could take the truck! I would never make an appointment at 8am on Tuesday when both my husband and I are at work nor would I schedule any appointments on Tuesday as my son has football. I keep a very tight calendar as my husband and I both work well over 40 hours and have 2 busy boys. Also if I missed an appointment why would they not give me a call. BE WARNED DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I know that price should not be the driving factor in sales since price is not going to correct a future problem. The service was really bad i went for a recall and waiting for 4 hours and I only end up getting a battery The manager told me they had to order parts for the recall and it would be in in a couple of days and she will have me in and out in a day I waited a whole week and heard nothing So I call and ask what was the status of the parts for my recall The manager told me that somehow the parts got lost in the system and the parts was being since too other stores (REALLY) it's sounds like to me that she never ordered the parts to begin with so she call me back a couple hours later telling me that parts was in (REALLY) and I had to set up a appointment on August 20 in which I responded by telling her when I first bought my car in on August 2 you told me it would take a couple of days you also ask me to give you guys a good review and lie about the service getting done to my car because you guys was getting slam in the reviews and now i see why So I took my car to another dealership about mile away and I will be coming to dealerships for now on read more

I bought a used 2014 Ram 1500 here and have been regretting it from a couple of months on. First Ram says oil change every 10000 miles they claim it needs it every 3-5000 and they want to do the BMW made transmission every 10,000 miles and BMW and RAM say every 100,000. When I bought the truck they "sold me" GAP insurance with it, now I find out they stuck me with 24 non-synthetic oil changes and tire rotations. I only use synthetic and do you think this used truck will actually last another 240,000? Also the first time I washed it all this white substance came off it and now I can see all the scratches. When I did go to the service department to ask about the "upcoming" service they offered to sell me 5 synthetic oil changes for another $200. I now want to know since I was somehow stuck can I at least give the oil changes to charity? So far it looks like a no. This and any dealership under the same owner (I think there are 17) are my last choice of where to go. read more

I took my vehice in for service on 10/27, 11/7, and11/8. After three days in the shop I was told it was fixed. It's not! As of 11/14 the lights began flashing on the dash board again and the chiming noise started to sound. With all the new technology they are putting in todays cars it seems that your mechanics are having trouble keeping up. i came to dodge Waldorf on account that i was sent here thru Carmax brandywine, i came in with a TIPM (totally integrated power module) that needed service when i dropped off my vehicle it took them 4 days before they realized that the vehicle was under warranty mind you it was circled on the envelope and in fact thats when they called me. now i have a check engine lite on a gas lite and my needle say its on E and now Im standing at Dodge trying to speak to Gene Cartwright whose suppose to be the tech and he's telling me he can't answer my questions on why my vehicle is the way it is but wants to charge me $1100 to replace something that he seems to not have any answers to only to continue ignoring me while I stand at his desk typing in the situation. Went in for an oil change. It was done in a timely manner. The routine check of the tires said that everything was ok. I knew everything was ok with the tires because I had no previous issues(NO lights were on) before I went in. Well the the day after and everyday since my tire light has been coming on which is odd because it wasn't coming on before the oil change and tire inspection. Took the car to get rechecked and was told that it is the weather. Funny how it has been colder on days before my oil change and the light did not come on. Funny how it was warm on Sunday and the light came on. So I would like to know how a brand NEW tire(less than 3 months) can have weather issues already? USUALLY I AM VERY SATISFIED BUT RIGHT NOW I AM NOT! Will see what happens tomorrow morning after it was checked today by the dealer in what seemed like less than 15 minutes. I'm quite sure it checked out fine if my husband put air in it this morning. it should meet the specs. However, there is a bigger issue here if air needs to be put in a tire everyday since visiting the dealer for a simple oil change. Also to compare putting air in your wife's tire once a week to daily is no comparison! read more
