They acknowledged it in passing and then never looked at the print out I had showing the final price (including taxes, tag, title, dealer markup) with the TrueCar discount. The final price they showed me was $160 more. To add insult to injury, the windshield had a significant crack at the bottom in the dark area where it was hard to see and when I pointed it out, they told me MD inspection doesn't require windshields to be "completely sealed"! My son worked for Safelite for several years and he told me that is crap! In the end, the car was $690 more than I had in a pre-approved check, so naturally I was able to get the car for the money I had. It was almost laughable, the way the manager took the check from my hand, before it was even endorsed, and disappeared! I should have gotten a better deal, but, "needs must" as they say. We needed a second car right away. BTW it's a 2021 Chrysler Voyager with 77K+ miles and seems in good condition. But, we just got it so I'll report back after the 30 day warranty expires. So I drove here at 6:35pm. He asked me to describe who did the job and chuckled. Then he saw that the plastic was left on the blades and they would be fully operational now so go ahead and test them out. I explained I couldn't because A. Its not raining. B. I don't have enough windshield wiper in my car to give it a true test.
