Ordered a small thin, half sausage, half green pepper and light onion and it was $23.27 which I thought was ridiculous! The onions were all over the whole pizza and left me hungry. $23 anywhere else would've filled me up and left me leftovers, absolutely ridiculous! I won't be back!! read more

I ordered a "family" size pizza it's supposed to be bigger than a "Large" the pizza was very disappointing it looked like it was the size of a medium. I've ordered a large at multiple other pizza spots and this has to be the smallest "family" size I've ever seen. read more

0 stars! Terrible costumer service, and pizza I wouldn't give to my dog! I've had frozen pizzas from gas stations that showed more passion. If this place's goal is to make people nostalgic for hunger, congratulations--you nailed it. read more

First time in many years eating their pizza. What a disappointment, maybe since I had it delivered 5 miles away, put a pizza that's not close to being hot, terrible. Wings were not hot either and dry. Salad was good only because the lettuce was fresh, but only a hand full of veggies. read more

I can actually taste the toppings and not all the bread. Love this spot for a quick fix to knock out my pizza cravings.

Waldo's pizza tastes exactly like capris pizza. Both very good pizzas lol thank you. Side note: I find it weird how on yelp the review needs to be atleast 85 characters or more but whatever I guess lol read more

What is up with Waldo Cooney's in Lansing? So many ppl are posting how they are messing up their orders. Even happened to my sister weeks ago and today, we ordered 1/2 cheese and 1/2 GPO.. They gave us sausage. We called and just like they did my sister, they suggested we pay even more for their mistake by paying an additional $5 to deliver us the correct order. Customer service stinks!!! They do not even attempt to go out of their way to current their error, which is very often. Check your orders before walking away! read more

Customer service is everything and unfortunately they do not have it. And the food is not great either . What a shame

I'm sorry but I was not impressed with this place. Think they got it at the store, opened the box and heated it up. I just moved here and was trying to find a good pizza place and this is not it. Will not be going back again. read more

Lansing has so many options for pizza. If I can give it a 0 starts I would. Placed order and said it would be ready in 30 minutes for pick up. Added cheeses fries and took another 7 minutes. When the cheese fries were done, I was told that the pizza wasn't ready, that it would be another 15 minutes. Waited for 55 minutes for my order to be completed. Worst experience so far. Definitely the last time I order from here. read more

I love their pizza but hate their customer service. Came in on 5/9/2022 and no one in the front to take orders. When I drove in, the lady was on the phone outside in the back, so made no difference if I hit the bell, they can't hear it! I waited like 10 mins before decided to leave! Beggar's pizza helped me out immediately ‍ read more

Waldo Cooney's Pizza - Be ready to wait on them to decide to work - Pizza Near Me - Lansing, Illinois

I've never been inside. I always order through DoorDash. I only order the deep dish pizzas. They are so delicious. I ordered a thin crust pizza once. And when they say thin, they definitely mean it. Barely any sauce cheese or toppings on it. But I'll definitely stick to my deep dish. read more

Great pizza, quick service, easy to order and pick up. Staff is always friendly and our food is always made how we order it.

I like Waldo Cooney's Pizza well enough. The problem, however, is that this place is super hit and miss. When it's good? It is one of the best pizza places in Lansing. When it's bad? I have to make some phone calls to get chicken that's cooked. Their pizza is consistently pretty good. The sauce has a nice flavor, there's plenty of cheese. When you order delivery, it comes pretty quickly, and it always arrived hot. If you stop by the store front you can get pizza by the slice as well, which is pretty cool too. Their beef sandwiches are pretty good too, I'd recommend getting cheese on it. Their cheese sticks are also pretty good and always This recent order, we got chicken dinners, and it was a perfectly acceptable dinner. The garlic bread was a bit dry, but we still ate it. Same with the cole slaw. The chicken, however, was good. It was cooked all the way through, hot, and juicy. The dinners come with garlic bread, fries, and slaw. We ordered a family meal with 16 pieces ($24.49). Instead of coming in a big box or a bucket, we received four individual dinners. We got four clam-shells each with fries and 4 pieces of chicken in it. This would have been nice, had we had four people. It ultimately ended up being just way too many containers, and it was hard to get things organized in our fridge when it came to putting leftovers away. The chicken is what I order here the most, and it's one of the better ones in the Lansing area. For pizza, it's alright, but you can order from better places in the same area. read more

Really awful customer service regarding a delivery Manager totally disrespectful and dismissive!! Will never order from here again

Great cheese pizza!!! I wish they were in the city! The crust was hot and buttery, and the cheese had many different flavors to it. I'll hit them up when I'm in the south suburbs again. read more

Cold night and we wanted our pizza fix. Waldo's Lansing always coming through with the quick delivery. Best thin crust on the south side. They have a deal with a pizza and wings that we usually get. Second to none. read more

First, the delivery driver sat in front of my house for 15 minutes on his phone, I actually went out to get my pizza, which was tasteless, cold, and not edible. The sauce had no flavor, the crust was tough and chewy; I should have thrown it out and eaten the box! Avoid at all costs, and if one must eat the box, the ones from Amazon taste better than this one- and did I mention the grease??? This pizza had more grease than cheese. I honestly don't know how this place is still in business. If you are in the Chicago area and you have a pizza place- you had best bring your A game or hang it up. and if you are benchmarking against your competition- may I recommend you NOT benchmark against Rosati's (there pizza is almost as horrible as yours!)! Also, FIRE the delivery driver, he is more interested in his phone than working for you! read more

The pizza by the slice is filling AND tasty. The problem is the customer service. The lady at the counter was theeee worst. She didn't acknowledge me or the person behind me at all. Someone just happened to emerge from the back and ask for my order. I told him. He didn't return or give an update. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the lady came back and asked me for my order because she didn't see it under my name. I pointed to my name on the tablet and she said "oh. Online. I was looking for a regular order." For every question I had, she rolled her eyes before answering. I asked her if it was Italian sausage on the "per slice" pizza, she said she didn't know and went about her business. Needless to say...unless I want a slice of cheese pizza on a whim, I won't spend the time and money to patronize this place. Quality only takes you so far. Customer service keeps you in business. UPDATE: After posting this, I received a call from Dan who wanted to get to the bottom of my experience. He was very kind. Very apologetic. He understood that what happened was unfortunate and inappropriate in his place of business. As a gesture of good faith, he offered a free pizza on my next visit. I appreciate the effort! It sucks that businesses can be spoiled by 1 bad apple. Based on our conversation, I have a feeling that the employee was not behaving to his standards. Thank you again, Dan! read more

Waldo Cooneys has been a fan favorite in my house since I moved to the area. However after not having them for awhile todays visit/order left my absolutely disgusted and horrified. I ordered a jumbo pizza and buffalo and bbq wings. The wings were COVERED in feathers. It takes not even five minutes to clean chicken. I can't believe I was served this I will never go back after todays encounter. read more

I love the Food. But recently Lansing just said they do not do half and half's on a Calzone. Those things are huge and we love to share it. Very disappointing that all of a sudden you can't order how you like it. I said online it lets you order like that and she said online is wrong we stopped doing them half and half now. Well fix your site, Sheesh! I swear they want our Buisness and then they switch up on their loyal customers. SMH read more

I order a Jumbo Pepperoni & Sausage (liter Drink)medium sausage and also chicken Philly the dinner that comes with a can drink. I tried to give the person over the phone my drink choice, she said oh no you can pick it out when you get here. I order for my family while at work. My 19 year old son picks up food. I get home ask where is the drinks. He said the man who's at the counter didn't give them to him. He requested a Root beer and RC. He said the cost, I called them l same night their closed. I called back the next day, the lady answered put me on hold the man gets on the phone said he remembered my order he said my son didn't want the drinks. I said Sir why would he say that he knew the drinks come with meal, well he says he left any ways. I ask him could he crest to my account he said he couldn't don't that, I told him I'll reach to corporate or some one because he attitude, talking over me and loudness. My son told me this was the same man we delivered $90 worth of food before and both of my pizzas was messy like they dropped but the cheese and meat wasn't on the crust. He has no respect for customer or food. Customer Service Sucks for the Guy to argue instead coming to a solution is crazy. They won't get my Money EVER AGAIN... read more

You want mediocre pizza that will get you full on its dough, go here. There is nothing special about this place at all. I went with a slice of sausage along with a can of RC (1 star for that alone) and paid i feel less than $4-$5. It's a large slice but it was as bland as frozen pizza (see tombstone). I asked if they had thin crust and the employee acted as if I was supposed to know they didn't have thin crust period. I'll never come back here. read more

Gave me food poisoning for 2 days over greasy and it's like the cook used the bathroom and didn't wash his hands. Completely disgusting

My son really likes Waldo Cooney's pizza and requested it today. We order it at least once a month and I'm familiar with its tastes, but the pizza was improved today(not that it isn't usually good). The crust was thinner, the ingredients tasted fresh and a noticeable difference in the sauce. It was excellent!. I stopped what I was doing to call and compliment the cook. I don't know what changes have been made since I last ordered but thumbs up today! read more

I only get the NW IN a couple times a year and I have my favorite pizza place or two that we always order from. So when my sister said she was ordering this I was a little worried.
