Megan Weakly in the office is the most pleasant and friendly person I think I've ever met. I work 7 days a week whenever they will let me, so its a task keeping my uniforms up to standard, but Megan is on top of it. She goes above and beyond to make me look professional. I've never had an employer make getting my uniforms so easy. Field Supervisor Rick Williams is one of the best bosses I've ever met. He's a stand-up guy! Walden's motto is setting the standard by setting the example, and Rick Williams lives that every day. He's not your friend, he is your boss. He will get on to you so fast if you don't do your job properly and he's very strict, but he's a heck of a roll model in a world where they seem to be few and far between. My operations manager Latasha Tatum is also one of the best people I know! She's super friendly but also a by the book type of boss. And she's on top of her job. If I work 7 days a week and 10 differrent shifts and 4 different post, she makes sure my money and paycheck are correct everytime, even if the system is down and I cant clock in for 3 days. My new post Supervisor April Simmons is also very strict and by the book but also friendly enough to tell you good job and thank you for your hard work. And real quick to tell you if it even looks like you're slacking. Overall, all jobs have pros and cons. Walden Security is a great place to work. And a great example of what people should strive to be and how we should treat people, even if they are in the wrong.

We took over a Vector Security system when we purchased our home. Didn't really need it, but I…read morethought I was doing the previous homeowners a favor because they helped us out. When I met with the sales person, he looked me straight in the eye and told me it was a three-year contract. We zipped through the contract on his phone (it was hard to read) and I believed him when he said it was only three years. Come to find out it was a five-year contract. This is an absolute integrity issue and reflects negative on this company. No one likes to be lied to!!!! We do not use the system. I have been trying to get out of this contract for two years now. They want to charge me thousands of dollars to cancel a service that I don't even use. I'm guessing they can see I don't use it back at their headquarters. Every time I cook, the smoke alarm goes off. I've had Volunteer firefighters show up at my house and it's a mess. I was advised to remove the batteries. Ridiculous! I have begged and begged them to get out of my contract and they refuse to help me out at all. The customer service people are pleasant enough and I try not to get upset with them, but this is literally the worst company I've ever dealt with. If you decide to go with this company, make sure you read the contract because the sales people will flat out lie to your face. I've been waiting for a call from a supervisor to discuss this matter further, but no one is calling me back. Completely disappointed in Vector Security. Would never recommend them to anyone ever. Buyer beware I guess!!!

He said that if we can't get it together then we should look to leave ADT. There was an apology, but NOTHING done on the Company side to make it right for us in the way that we were treated. This call, was another waste of time. And we will be leaving ADT as soon as we can without having to pay their exorbitant fees for moving that have never been a part of our experience and this farce of a contract is up. USE ANYTHING ELSE BUT THIS COMPANY. EVEN THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ARE RUDE AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. We have been customers for over 10 years with this company. We've moved across the country with them. The past two years have been the WORST experience with these people. Moving once more across town, we are being nickeled and dimed, we were hung up on multiple times, and we were told we now have to move our own equipment. Rude customer service, no customer service, and no care for their customers. When this contract is over, we're out. Rude, careless, and heartless. Do not use, at all.

A Vivint sales employee promised us a 10 day trial before he got fired. By day 8 we realized we…read morecouldn't use their full system so we wanted to cancel. They wouldn't fulfill the 10 day trial because they only offer 3 day trials. After a week long fight, talking to multiple supervisors, and a scammer report to our credit card company to get them to pull recordings, an executive finally reached out and confirmed we were right and the employee who offered it to us initially was fired and that's why he never responded to anyone about confirming what was promised to us. This is a very shortened version of events. But just know, Vivint is a shady business full of employees who are clueless to help anyone and will lie to you over and over again. Do not use vivint! Use anyone else and save yourself time and money. Their equipment is also subpar to most other security companies. I'm happy to finally be rid of this awful company.
