I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership. I purchased a vehicle and started having…read moreissues before I even made it home. The check engine light came on the very next day, and within a week, I was facing a $2,500 repair bill. I've only had the car for two weeks. I trusted the owner and explained that I needed a reliable vehicle for my son since our current one already had issues. He reassured me that this was a good, dependable car -- but now I'm left with two vehicles that both have problems. I've tried reaching out and even went by the shop to get a resolution, but haven't received any help or response.

Paid him CASH 6500 for the 2009 Murano and an additional 700 dollars for taxes and title, which I thought was a bit much. Car was back in his shop two days later leaking power steering fluid. All he did was fill the car with more power steering fluid. 3 days later the same problem occurred. Was told to take the car to Grecham Lake repair shop and was charged $492 for repair. Owner agreed to pay part which was only $50 that I still haven't received. These ppl don't stand by their word and didn't care that the car needed major repairs. The engine light is on now because the catalytic converter is shot. So much for customer service. WARNING. DO NOT SHOP HERE. They ripped me off big time and will not make good on their word.

I'm sort of surprised by the terrible reviews here for Southern States but admittedly, usually the…read moresales experience is very different from service experiences. I recently purchased a new Mazda CX-5 here and the process was super smooth and transparent. My sales guys Corey was super low-pressure and helpful, did most of the upfront paperwork/quotes to a great price. Then it took an hour or two to finalize/sign off on the contract with the finance manager and get the vehicle ready. So maybe an hour visit to test drive, another couple of hours to do the paperwork and I was done. There was no back and forth, the final price out the door was excellent and everyone was super chill here. So a big thumbs up from me on the new car buying experience, Go find Corey if you're looking for a straight-forward purchase experience.

There was a good bit of back and forth with even cooperate being brought into the discussion. But I am pleased to say that after I wrote a negative review to Mazda and Yelp the Service Manager, Todd Driver, finally got involved and agreed that the right thing to do was to cover the repair. So, I am rescinding everything I wrote previously about the issue because when the actual Service Manager got involved it was satisfactorily resolved. Thank you, Todd!!!

I live in Florida so I was pretty much purchasing blind folded until Omar sent videos and was very engaging in terms of communication. I decided to take a ride to NC to see it in person and everything was as he stated via the phone & videos. They even shipped it to me at NO CHARGE! Great experience, I highly recommend. I purchased a 2009 BMW 335i from RDU Auto a couple of months ago. Since then, lots of issue have been popping up on the vehicle. I have driven this vehicle less than 1000 miles. The first thing that I noticed after purchase is that one of the tires is damaged and needed a plug. Next, this vehicle has tint on it that would absolutely under no circumstances pass an NC state inspection. How did they get this vehicle to pass with the tint? Hmmmm....... Next up, the driver side rear window regulator broke the very first time I lowered it. A very basic inspection would have caught this issue, but I guess we don't do those....... And the big one. After about a month of driving, the car suddenly stopped making boost completely. I get a half-engine light when the car nears 3000rpm. This issue has been diagnosed as a wastegate issue which will cost me near a grand to fix. On top of this, I was accused multiple times of trading in a vehicle with major issues. If the vehicle would have had any issues, I would have just kept it myself and fixed it. They inspected and drove the vehicle before quoting me a trade-in value, which I agreed on. How were there suddenly issues after the car was traded in? Why did their inspection not catch whatever issues they thought my trade-in had? If you buy a car here, I highly recommend making sure you have a certified mechanic inspect the vehicle ahead of time. I was naive for thinking that the place that I worked at wouldn't sell me a lemon, but here I am with almost $2000 in estimates to fix preexisting issues.
