Fireweed are those magenta blooms along the drive to and from Denali during the mid-summer months but unlike rose or lavender, fireweed tastes more like berries than floral. They have a variety of other flavors for those less adventurous but if you want something you wouldn't get anywhere else, go for that fireweed.

The crab cakes were decent, but the guac was a miss--was pretty much just avocado and tomato. Then we got to the entree--our fish. It was beautifully cooked in an Asian style, sauced, and served on a bed of (jasmine?) rice with Julianned veg. Wonderful! And so fresh of course!! 1 fillet for each of us, $18-PLEANTY of food! Dessert was to follow and we opted for the White Chocolate Creme Brulee, Berry Cobbler w/ice cream and Chocolate Lava Cake w/ice cream. The Lava Cake took the gold medal and we were basically fighting over who would lick the plate! The cobbler was very good and unusual with the mixture of cherries, rhubarb and other berries. The creme brûlée while good was a miss mostly due to the fact that they did not "brûlée" the top and opted to add a small sugar tuile instead which is just not the same and that wonderful crack you get breaking thru the normal crust. Good chicken wings and fried cauliflower. Both were good.
