    Loaded nachos with carne asada

I stopped by this little fish taco joint when I was in the area and definitely not disappointed. I know it's a chain, but I think it's one of the only ones in NJ so it doesn't count for me. I love that they have outdoor, dog friendly seating area. It's great especially in the summer when you're out and about. The best part though? The food is bomb. Even though it's a chain, it's got a really fresh quality ingredients! I love that the fish tacos come with slaw and not just plain cabbage. Also the rice and beans that come on the side are absolutely delicious. Honestly overall a great place to stop by for a quick meal. Also, the prices are really reasonable! Especially for the quality of food.

Asada 1988 style and spicy chicken with citrus slaw. Outstanding!

When in Middletown there's only 1 place to get street tacos and beer, that's Wahoo's. They ah e a neat little outdoor area and a bar to sit and eat outside. The interior is roomy and kind of fun. I've been here several times abs tried most of the menu so I can safely say everything is very good. The price points are fair I'd not at bargain levels and you get your belly full to boot. The staff is friendly fast and attentive. Don't miss a chance to tru Wahoo's.

My bestie, goddaughter and I got together for dinner and took a ride to this restaurant. When we arrived I parked in the plaza lot. We walked up and there was indoor and outdoor seating and we choose indoor. The restaurant is set up to order your food at the counter, pay and they will bring it to you at the table. I ordered the Alaskan Flounder burrito teriyaki style. My friend ordered the steak quesadilla. While we waited I went over to the bar and ordered the espresso martini which was good but not enough lol. When the food came it was very good. The owner Rimy came around and checked on us several times and he was very nice. I will say the food and drink was very affordable. All in all I enjoyed my time.

Hubs and I have been wanting to try this place for a while but never got a chance to because we kept forgetting about because we live far away. Well, we finally remembered to come here and give this place a try. He ordered loaded nachos, which is described as your choice of protein topped with jack & cheddar mix, beans, jalapeños, served with salsa, sour cream & guacamole. Hubs said that it had chips, salsa and beans. What's there not to like? However, we could've added any protein to it and it could've tasted the same. He chose the fish as protein but had no clue as to what kind of fish it was. Overall, it tasted like a plate of nachos with a protein on top of it. There was nothing exhilarating about it but it filled him up. Daughter ordered the salmon bowl, which is Alaska salmon grilled with light soy marinade, served over rice & citrus slaw with a side of homemade aioli. She says that it's been a long time since she had cooked salmon and this filled her up. However, she felt it could've used more seasoning. She thought that it was good but it could have been better. Lastly, I had two enchiladas, which is any protein served with rice and beans, garnished with salsa. You can also substitute one side with citrus slaw or salad for an extra charge of 50 cents. I also had fish as well but didn't know what kind of fish it was. I chose to keep my sides and not substitute anything. I had a choice of red or green salsa and chose green. It was ok, no big deal. I felt this place was more Tex Mex/Southwestern kind of food and I'm not crazy about it. Service was ok and quick. Maybe, I'll return to try other items on the menu, eventually....

We were looking for a nice lunch in the area and definitely found it! Deliciously fresh fish tacos and just enough food to fill us up. Really cool place inside for either pick up, dine in, or just grabbing a quick drink at the bar. Really cool place. Friendly place. We'll be back!

Carne Asada with rice and beans

This place doesn't look like much from the outside as it is nestled between a TJ Maxx and a Livoti's. Their menu looks like they have a ton of good options ranging from tacos to bowls. It also tries to present itself like a Southern California beach taco spot. I would also highly recommend sitting at the bar and trying some of their drinks. Finally, I had a bowl with carne asada, rice, and beans. I opted to add avocado slices for a couple extra cents. The carne asada was in a sauce with sautéed vegetables (onions, peppers, and mushrooms). The steak could have used a little more seasoning but the rice was good. The beans were just normal black beans from a can. They could have tried to add some flare to it. Nonetheless, great spot and I am looking forward to trying more food in the future.

I loved the salmon bowl, fresh and tasty- the burrito on the other hand was not so great. Pricing is good, cute atmosphere and outdoor dining. Definitely a cool spot for summer dinner

We were greeted at the door and were aloud to pick our seat. The ambience is such a cool Asian inspired atmosphere. Mural on the wall, little table top waterfall on the sushi station, bonsai and other nicknacks on the shelves and tv showing peaceful marine life. The menu is very sushi dense, with the whole first 3 pages being sushi. I got the shrimp tempura, dragon roll, and Philly roll with a miso soup. My partner got the green curry, miso soup and white rice. My sushi rolls were so delicious, perfectly fresh, and just so yummy. It has baby carrots, onions, chicken, corn, and potatoes. It was my first time trying curry and it was pretty good. 7.8/10 Overall my experience here was nothing but positive. Seemed clean, the wait staff was very attentive, bathroom was clean, service was fast, and atmosphere was cool to look at. Definitely will end up here again, also the price was awful for all the sushi I got. I'd give this place a 9.0/10. Such a cute spot. I do suggest ordering any pasta al dente. This is one of my favorite chicken Francese entrees in the area! Since it's my favorite dish I've probably ordered it hundreds of times in NJ. The chicken is thin and cooked well, the sauce has the perfect amount of lemon, and the pasta when cooked al dente pairs great with the sauce. The staff is always professional and service is typically quick. Since this establishment does primarily takeout, expect to wait longer Friday-Sunday. Expect to use street parking, which can be a little tricky when it's busy for a quick takeout order (however I rarely have trouble except for a Friday or Saturday night). This is a classic pizzeria style restaurant. It's nothing fancy, but the food is delicious.

Unfortunately, the food and service didn't live up to the atmosphere. Things started off rocky when our kid's meal came out first, only for the staff to realize they had completely forgotten about the rest of our order. When our food finally arrived, it felt rushed--and it showed. The garlic knots seemed reheated, undercooked in the middle, overloaded with basil, and lacking that punch of garlic and parm they needed. The pizza had potential: the cheese was quality, the dough was nice and thin, but both were underbaked. No crisp, , no texture, no finish--just doughy. The sauce was fine, but leaned too sweet for my taste. What made it more frustrating was the lack of attention. The restaurant wasn't even busy... just one other table and a few takeout orders - yet service still felt scattered, and the food came out like an afterthought. Would I give them another shot? Honestly, yes. Those square pizzas in the window still have my curiosity, and I'd like to see this place step up its game. For now though, it's more of a "great vibes, disappointing execution" kind of spot.
