Prime rib, white gravy and mash, green beans, and bourbon. Fabulous!

Great food, great service, great drinks, awesome community. Had the prime rib and it was great. The green beans are legit and one of the best gravies I've ever had. Awesome experience and food.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time today as we vacationed for the first time in the area. The location was very convenient coming down off the Grand Mesa mountain on Rt. 65, there was plenty of parking close by which was free and the parking lot was freshly paved, the outside of the restaurant was nicely decorated, we were greeted upon entering, seated immediately, our friendly server came right away and asked us what we wanted to drink and gave us menus, we received our beverages in one minute, our server took our orders within several minutes, their menu had many and varied items reasonable priced ($12 - $18), the dining room had plenty of seating, the dining room was clean and appropriately decorated for a restaurant in Western Colorado, no background music was playing, I don't know if there was free WiFi available, and the restroom was clean and didn't smell. Our food was served steaming hot within 10 minutes and was delicious!

Chicken Fried Steak

Wagon Wheel has the best Chicken Fried Steak in the country!! It's home made from scratch and they take exceptional pride in its perfection! All the staff are happy people with great energy. We drive an hour just for the CFS and it's worth it every time we go!

My only complaint was we could not open our window for fresh air so we had to use the wall mounted heater/AC unit which worked great but was a little noisy.

FABULOUS FOOD FOR ALL DIETARY CHOICES. My parents moved to Cedaredge several years ago. It's a…read morecharming community, but restaurant options have been limited. My mother raved about how great the relatively new Lost Mesa Grill is and we decided to stop by on our way out of town. I'm vegan due to health reasons and eating out is always a chore for me. We were quite thrilled to see there were several vegan options on their rather extensive menu. We opted for the mushroom, black bean and corn tacos with a side of refried beans. The ingredients were fresh and absolutely delicious! Other items on the menu looked delicious as well, ranging from comfort food such as chicken fried steak to ribeyes to a southwest steak salad or roasted beet salad. (Marinated tofu could be substituted for meat.) Brandon, our server, was wonderful, and being a fellow vegan, he had great recommendations. And to top it off, the owner had a box of vegetable from his overflowing garden free for the taking! This restaurant is a fabulous little gem for any community, much less such a small town and it easily meets the dietary needs of all clientele. (They even have gluten free buns for their burgers.) If you're going through Cedaredge or even if you want to make a detour off Hwy 50, you'll be happy you stopped at the Lost Mesa Grill for a fabulous meal!

Over priced food and rude staff. Will not be back…read more Walked in and a waitress started to seat us at a VERY small table mashed against a corner wall. My 6'5" husband asked politely for a larger table. The waitress gave us a heavy sigh, swooped up the menus, and walked over to a larger table, dropped the menus on the table and walked away! We ALMOST left! Took 35 minutes to get our food. Food (hamburger and fries) was ridiculously expensive considering they weren't all that tasty. Between rude staff, over inflated prices, and very average food, we won't be back!

Truly one of the best dinning experiences I have ever had. The use of locally sourced meat from CCR and Law's Bourbon is such a great add. The atmosphere is trendy and cool, way above an average "mountain town" dining but still warm and friendly. our service was absolutely perfect. Food - the steak tartare is completely unmatched in presentation & preparation. I love traditional steak tartare but this was a really great take on it. The menu has a considerable presence of peas and beans incorporated into this dishes which is a unique touch from other high end restaurants. The dishes were amazingly plated, and the tastes were so tremendously brought together with quality. Do NOT miss the pistachio tiramisu. The absolute best dessert I have ever had. Words really can't do it justice! This is a spectacular dining experience for any city!

While this restaurant may seem very unassuming from the outside, I promise, when you step inside,…read moreyou won't be disappointed. One of my favorite features is Ramen Wednesdays. More recently, we sat at the bar last week to enjoy both happy hour, and the ramen menu. The bartender was great, and checked in with us regularly. We started with a small plate of the bistro fries - which comes covered in Truffle Oil, Herbs de Provence, and Parmesan Cheese - they're super good, and would say better than a certain CB restaurant's crack fries. The small order was plenty for the three of us to share. For drinks, we started with wine, beer, and I had a mojito. The mojito wasn't my favorite - for some reason, it was really sweet. Second drink was a glass of Sauvignon blanc, which went well with the ramen. On to the ramen - I went with the Boo-Tan-E-Koo Pork broth, traditional wavy noodles, pork belly, poached egg, tempura, green onion, buttered sweet corn, chile thread, fresh ginger, sesame seeds. It was delicious, flavorful, and I couldn't get through the whole bowl (I took about half of it home). That was my first time taking ramen home, and would note it heated up nicely for lunch the next day. We will absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

Food - I ordered the NY Strip - which was excellently cooked and seasoned. However,.the whole grain mustard mashed potatoes - mustard can easily overwhelm the mashed potatoes, and it did so. The other person in my party ordered the Cioppino which was mostly a miss as the flavors didn't connect. She also ordered the Palisade Peach Bread Pudding. Did not meet expectations. Service - I think all the dudes that served us were under 21. If that's your staffing model, you better train them, and have someone on the side to be a Sommelier. The servers were very attentive and professional - but there were too many subtle service misses that can be rectified with better training. Not terrible, but not the best choice.
