For stuff I actually wanted, the Publixes closer to Augusta were comparable in selection. I found some decent stuff here, not quite as much on sale as I'd hoped, and there were a few specialty items that I wanted that weren't here. But checkout was easy enough and for basic groceries this place will certainly get the job done.

But they are overpriced the meat is usually good but those ribs I bought I would be ashamed to serve them to a stray dog. Do better with your prices, I'm guessing your profit margins are a lot higher than most chain stores. How shameful.

The prices are definitely steep, even in comparison to somewhere like Publix. Whilst in the store, I saw several shady individuals smoking inside with backpacks on. Yet management didn't do anything about them. The second I exited the store I felt like I was going to get mugged. Some other shady individuals (whose pants were sagging) all were conjugating outside the entrance. One of them said to me, "Who you looking at N-slur." Another one asked, "What you have in the (grocery) bag N-slur" When I got to my car one of them was walking towards my car. Now I don't know if he was going to do anything, but the whole thing felt extremely sketchy. I wouldn't want to come back to the store unless they had some sort of security to keep thugs and rift-raft out. Because unless you want to be mugged, shopping here isn't a great investment!

Not only were a lot of greens out of stock, but they were usually not fresh. Their bakery goods seem decent and everything else you need typically from a super market would be in stock. The employees do seem to keep it well maintained, organized, and cleaned. Plenty of parking space too. Overall, about a 2.5 of 5 stars compared to other Food Lions I've shopped at.

Third, due to the size, they were offering sections you wouldn't see in a typical Kroger or grocery store. This Kroger even had a clothing section. Kind of reminded me of Target or Walmart (but better). Their bakery section and produce area were about the same as others, but definitely fresher. Plenty of parking and helpful staff roaming the aisles helping out customers or ensuring items were stocked. Definitely glad I decided to check this place out since it was so close by.
