Dirty run down and in need of a serious cleaning and or a full remodeling. The areas a bit on the shady side, with most of the stores in the plaza closed. So lock your doors set the alarm and don't stay gone too long. With that said, you'll find all the basic necessities as you would in any other Wal-Mart, but nothing like what you will find in a larger more modern Wal-Mart store. This is the worst Walmart I have ever been in. It needs new management and some attention from corporate! The produce department is terrible, often has rotten or wilted produce still on the shelves. The freezers seem to fail regularly. Ice cream is often melted or obviously refrozen. Meat department is a joke! Waynesboro needs a new grocery store! read more

Stood in line for over 30 minutes. Finally got fed up and Just left my cart and walked out.

I live in Waynesboro and have been using this Wal-Mart for 4 years now . I am giving them 5 stars today for all the improvements from 4 yrs ago to now ! Very friendly workers who are always willing to help and if they can't , they will find someone who will . The checkouts are always running smoothly now . And no , I don't know the employee's personally , but they make you feel like it ! read more

Sad I am willing to give Wal-Mart a review but this place needs one. Don't waste your time here. Go 30 minutes up the street to Augusta. This Wal-Mart is trashy. Rude staff and people all around. The prices are jacked up just because of local. You can go to Walmart in Augusta and buy the same things for less. The store overall is dirty. read more

It is sad to say that this Walmart is terrible. You can hardly find anything you need because they move stuff around each week. The staff stays huddle up together talking and when you ask for help they look at you like your are stupid. Poor customer service for sure. I am living in the area and I drive to Augusta when I need to go to Walmart. I would never recommend anyone going to this store. I have never seen any Walmart like this one. Went to this store about 3 weeks ago signs were posted that said clearance items today and tomorrow extra 50% off we purchased a mower on clearance before we went inside and saw the signs went to service desk to talk to assistant manager who said that wasn't included tho no exceptions were on the posted signs then was told not all clearance was included! They were so unfriendly and down right rude you just have to wonder is it really worth it to shop there? if you use coupons they will not honor them if they don't scan either. It is obvious this store needs some work not only cleaning but employee training also read more
