When I bought my house, a vapor barrier was installed in the crawl space beneath my house. The primary benefit was to keep underseepage water vapor from creating mold or damaging the lumber. There was a 1/3HP sump pump (with a plastic impeller) installed to convey water to a nearby drainage ditch. One January afternoon, my wife and I return home from trip only to hear the sump pump making crazy sounds. I investigated only to find the sump pump broke and had been spewing water into the crawl-space. The downside to having the vapor barrier was now the water couldn't seep back into the ground and was sitting on the plastic. I hired a restoration company who did a horrible job but eventually got the water cleared a whole other story), and I needed to hire a plumber to help me replace the broken sump pump and inspect the rest of the system. I reviewed several local plumbers and selected Jeff - firstly because he is a man of faith and I felt like I should be able to trust him. Jeff was responsive, a clear communicator, on time and did great work. I couldn't have asked for better. Additionally, I feel like he went above and beyond. He advised me on the kind of sump pump that would last longer and perform better (1/2HP with stainless steel impeller). This empowered me to compare with the 1/3HP & plastic impeller from various retailers and in the end I went with his recommendation. Jeff could have done what, in my experience, most contractors would do - buy the cheapest replacement and mark-up "materials" on the invoice. Instead, I purchased the sump I wanted and he replaced and tested it to ensure the system worked. I would do business with Jeff again and recommend him to everyone! read more

I've hired Wagner plumbing for several jobs over the years. Jeff Wagner communicates well, is always prompt, does great work, his prices are good and he often goes beyond my expectations. He replaced the galvanized pipes for my whole house with copper. He's also replaced the outgoing pipes and done various interior work. When he was under the house replacing galvanized pipe, he discovered a bunch of old debris and air ducts that were left by the HVAC contractor, and cleaned it all up. My latest job was related to a shower faucet that stopped mixing cold water. I wanted to do it myself to save some money and I was having problems, so I texted him with some questions and he promptly helped me identify the issue and gave me instructions on how to fix it myself. read more

Very late review but well deserved called Jeff back in the beginning of Feb and he was awesome! My situation was a bit of a pain because toilets were already removed but needed to be replaced but not before the floor guys were done but it had to be the same day or there would be no commode in the house...
