She encouraged us to apply for store credit through Wells Fargo, and I was approved for significantly more than the cost of the flooring we were considering (probably a red flag warning that they will attempt to take you for more than you want to spend). Later that week, she came to our home for a site assessment. While friendly during the visit, she remained vague about installation costs. As she left, she promised to email a detailed quote within a day or two. After a full week with no word, I had to follow up. She responded several hours later with an estimate. The product pricing stayed within what we discussed, but the labor portion was estimated, but listed as "variable," with no fixed amount or not-to-exceed" number. Additionally, she couldn't even guarantee the final cost or confirm they could complete the job. As a contractor myself (in IT), I'm accustomed to providing customers with clear, capped pricing and a promise we will complete the work before they commit, especially on installation work. Its not as if I was hiding anything from her. She had full access to the home for her assessment. If she lacked expertise to properly evaluate the job, they should have sent a more qualified person. This lack of clarity made it impossible to move forward with confidence. After sending the quote, she never followed up and I haven't spoken to her since. Overall, Francine came across as inattentive, inexperienced and unreliable. We ended up purchasing our flooring elsewhere, and based on this experience, I would recommend doing the same.

Scheduling was fluid and they were able to install 2 weeks earlier than originally planned since we were leaving on a trip. On the day of installation, Ken and his crew were on time and got right to work. They moved furniture we were unable to and were very respectful of our house and contents. They finished in 1 day, but took care to do a very professional install. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for your flooring needs. Instead he put the splice in the center of the family room, even though World of Carpets laid out the carpet I planned to replace as I described (splice at the hallway). His layout would have cost me an extra $1000.00 due to the waste. When I questioned this he told me to go somewhere else. What arrogance! There is another guy about his age who is even worse. However the women there were very nice. Things there have really changed. Maybe there a new owner. You can't stretch the carpet one inch like you guys did the first time? The first time the installer was older and more experienced. If you truly could not, I could have cut a one inch wood threshold in front of the slider to make up for the difference. (Other places have thick baseboards.) I'm sure this would be cheaper than $1000.00. Casey did not have time for any of that.

Feb 19th the order was cancelled and refunded, so we were on the hunt again for a specific color and shape. We walked in, didn't see what we were looking for but Nancy said it could be ordered exactly how we wanted. So we looked at colors and fabric, $5000 later we ordered what we wanted, handmade in Canada. The process was wonderful. 6-8 weeks for delivery, that's ok with us, and this review is based on our experience. We didn't intend to buy anything here because we didn't know any better. Yes this place may be expensive, but we ordered exactly what we wanted, and sometimes that comes with a high price tag. I am happy we found this place on accident and I will update my review once the dining set is delivered.

They are available to answer questions, but unlike other stores, I didn't feel like I had a sales person glued to me trying to sell me something (it was so refreshing!) Second, Jessie was fantastic communicating with us about the project from start to finish. Everything was delivered and installed on time. She was very responsive when we had questions. Third, the install crews were efficient and diligent and also communicated each day of the project. Finally, pricing was very fair and competitive. I would highly recommend Rugworks.
