In 2019 Pro Flooring did a great job installing SPC Luxury Vinyl at my rental unit. See my other review about that (dated 5/27/2019) Fast forward to 2025, and unfortunately there was a pipe that burst in the rental and so a large portion of the flooring had to be pulled out. I decided to have the restoration company that did the drying process do all the repairs, painting, and installation in order to keep things simple (rather than me hiring and coordinating multiple companies). Unfortunately the restoration company's subcontractor did not do a very good job on the corners and edges, and that made me worry about whether there could be other bigger issues like with the leveling. I called Pro Flooring to get some information and see if they could give me a bid if we ended up having more problems resolving the issues. Vitaliy was very kind in spending a lot of time with me on the phone discussing my options, looking at some pictures, and arranging an appointment for his installer to take a look. As it turns out, once I was able to drive up to my rental unit and inspect it in person instead of via pictures on the phone, I felt that there was a good chance the issues were only cosmetic on the edges and transitions. I was able to discuss again with Vitaliy, and that helped me feel even more reassured, and in the end we did not need to have his installer take a look because I was feeling confident that those cosmetic issues could be fixed by the restoration company since they would not use the subcontractor this time. I do wish in retrospect that I had hired Pro Flooring to do this job, because I am sure we would not have had these issues. But Vitaliy sure helped me out by being very helpful and gracious with his time as I needed to figure out the best course of action. Thank you Vitaliy! read more

We just installed engineered hardwood in a 2 story house and we are very happy that we chose Pro flooring. When we first started looking at hardwood flooring we had no idea what type of floor we would be getting. Vitaliy was great on spending hours( even past closing time) with us to educate us so we knew what we wanted at the end of the first visit with him. He is very thorough in his estimate and Omar, his installer was great to work with. They put down the engineered hardwood, dealt with demolition of some stone tiles we didn't want, and installed the hardwood on the stairs which looks awesome. Pro Flooring is the way to go, end of story. After messing around with the big box stores a bit I scanned through Yelp and found Vitaliy's shop. I am so glad that I did and hope you find him as well. What I loved about working with Vitaliy was the feeling that my project was important and was given real attention. The variety of flooring and brands, quality of product and service were great. We are really happy with our bamboo flooring. Not as wild about the CoreTec product look that we installed in our kitchen and baths, but it is of no fault of the store. Just didn't have the look that I thought it would. We decided to replace the oak hardwood floor in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The floor had been glued to the concrete slab beneath. After the floor was removed, there was a residue of old glue on the slab and, it turned out, the slab itself was not level. A new hardwood floor could not be installed until the old glue was removed and the slab was leveled. We had the new wood, but could not proceed further. It is not easy to find contractors who do this type of work. The old glue has to removed by hand. Heavy duty sanding machines just become gummed up when this glue is sanded off. And few companies will level concrete slab if you do not purchase the flooring from them. I found Pro Flooring through HomeAdvisor.com. To my relief, Vitally @ Pro Flooring was willing to do this difficult job, and his estimate was reasonable. Another company asked for more money and would not do the job for at least two months. In the end, Vitally and his crew did an excellent job. They stripped off the old glue, primed the floor, and put down self-leveling compound. Because the slab was so uneven, a second application was required. When Vitally finished the work, the slab was clean and perfectly level. Compared to the difficulty of removing the old glue and leveling this concrete slab, installing a hardwood floor, or refinishing an existing floor, would be a piece of cake. Vitally is from the Ukraine. His English is good, but it is his second language. For this reason, he may not seem to be highly articulate. Don't be put off. He does the work promptly; he is fair and honest, and he is experienced and competent. He also happens to be a very pleasant person. read more

We recently purchased a home in Santa Rosa (Aug 2018) and had all new LVP and carpet installed throughout by another flooring store (that shall remain nameless). The original installers did not alert us to the creaks and pops coming from the subfloor as they were installing the material that we ultimately just could not live with. Six months later we contacted Pro Flooring to help us remove the LVP and carpet, to give us access to the subfloor to secure it with screws to eliminate the noise, and then replace the LVP and carpet that was removed. The Pro Flooring installers were professional and courteous and helped with this rather unusual request. They removed the flooring on one day and gave us several days to address the subfloor before returning. It all got put back and looks as good as new, and no more noise! We just had our 22 year old maple floor in kitchen and entrance refinished by Pro Flooring. Vitally and helper Kevin are real pros and take extra care, such as noticing and nailing slightly loose boards and installing a flush mount maple air vent. Good clean up and very timely.
