Wagers Wildlife went to one of my rentals. At the time of the call, there was a raccoon in my tenant's bedroom. Therefore, this was an emergency call. We were given a price in advance. The price was fair. Wagers responded quickly. However, the raccoon was no longer in the bedroom upon arrival. The wildlife technician just assumed the raccoon was outside the home. The technician provided a very detailed estimate of everything that was wrong with the exterior and what it would take to fix it. The technician was willing to set exterior traps that day. All of this is standard for other companies I have used in the past. I do not recommend the company because they did not enter the home and clear it. The raccoon could have been in the walk-up attic (like one you could have a bedroom in; that is where the raccoon fell from --a hole in the closet), the basement, another bedroom, etc. I understand no one should go be face to face with a raccoon, etc, but for the safety of the tenants, the home should have been cleared, and the inside should have been assessed as much as the exterior. The inside needs to be looked at as well. You can smell their urine and feces, and visually see their living quarters, etc. I asked the company to waive half the bill because they didn't enter the home. I have managed rentals for over a decade I have never had a company not go inside. This company refused to do so and also told me this is the time raccoons have their babies. No, raccoons have their babies in the spring for the most part. I do appreciate the positives, but my tenant and I were very upset the guy would not come into the house. My tenant was shaken by this experience and did not feel the guy cared to go in and deal with this properly. Wagers your check was mailed today. I also find it interesting that you offer free inspections, as you did outside. The emergency call and extraction never happened, but that isn't your fault. Since I run a small business, I do understand time, gas, insurance, etc. I do feel you should be compensated, just not in full. I really wish you had made this right. read more
